Narciso isn|t sure, but Ernhild can tell that the woman is honest in what she is telling. Also, between the yellow eyes and the inside knowledge about what is going on in the sewers you can tell she is a wererat too. And Tisha remembers that besides the unpleasentness of what you can catch when bitten by a wererat, you should bring silver weapons when you want to kill one.

Entering the sewers at the bottom of the stairs you face the disgustingly visible haze of noxious sewer reek. Following the flow of unmentionable slop through the sewer tunnel’s filth-slick you find the 'unexpected' fork. Most of the muck continues on its expected path, but a small stream of ooze diverts off through a wide cleft in the moldy masonry wall. The man-sized crack cuts deep into the rock behind the wall, and wisps of thin white smoke issue forth.

Not being one for stealth and careful exploration Briggi moves into the supposed lair of the wererat. The flow of sewer filth oozes into this rough-hewn stone cave, pooling to the south before continuing through a crude channel in the eastern wall. Fat black mushrooms and other disgusting fungus grow thick around the pool of slime. Several low alcoves are cut into the walls, each filled with moldering hay, filthy furs, and tiny bones.
Two wererats stand guard and some oversized rats frolic in the sewage.

Tisha downs the antiplague before she takes a position at the back of the party just outside the cave entrance hiding against the wall the best she can.

She draws her spear and watches to make sure nothing is sneaking up on the party as the others talk.

Listening to the conversation she tries to determine if the are about to be attacked.

Noting the wererat’s tone, Tisha stays silent and alert waiting to see how this plays out.

As the dwarfs don't look like they will leave anytime soon, but also look like they are not easy to fight off one were rat calls back into the den. "We have visitors who want to talk to Girrigz."
Out of the next cave steps a very angry looking wererat. You can olso see some more of them at a campfire. The angry looking one wields a silvery rapier.

Girrigz glares at his guards and then at Briggi. "Why aren't those city dwellers dead already?" He charges Briggi. But Briggi is faster.

@Foxy, was the last save you rolled (the 17), the Fort save for Ear Piercing scream? (As Girrigz has acted, he is clearly not dazed). If so, Girrigz should only have take 14 damage (9 from Burst of Radiance and 10/2=5 from Ear Piercing Scream).
