As Tish gets hit with the caustic fluid she looks back at the door.
You may want to Fall back. I’m not staying here to be hit by some mad Chemist.
To be clear Foxy, Did the new guy just throw two vials in one round? One at Narcisc and one at the space behind me to do the splash damage to me and Ernhild? Because from the map I don’t see how we all get hit, and Briggs missed, with one vial and you rolled twice.
Tisha Nerifaren
You crazy wizard! Grab the kid so we can drag them out and heal them!
You are madder then a hatter to think I would dive into that mob of spoon eared whelps to save one that is trying to stab us!
Pink is a long way in. Unless you drop a bunch there is zero chance we get near that square in time
Narciso the Sorcerer
@Tisha, I think that was a crit for a total of 5 dmg.
Narciso HP 4/9.
Narciso avoids the stubby arms grabbing for his crossbow and replies to Ernhild and Briggi "I've been one of the rat pack, those blades are more than sharp enough to cut throats, and they won't hesitate for a second on ours!"
WRT to tactics, there are 12 active enemies on the init, and potentially more coming if the gnome can get more help. We're 1st level. We kind of charged in here without reconnaissance or a plan. We've lost the element of surprise already. Either we fight as effectively as we can, or we die here...
Narciso the Sorcerer
Narciso steps farther up the stairs, hoping to at least minimize the number of people inside the splash radius of the acid, and then chants at the acid thrower, trying to temporarily overwhelm his will...

Are we missing on 16s and 17s? I’ve rolled a 16 for 2 non lethal and Briggi rolled a 17 for 8 non lethal, so unless those miss Orange should be at a minimum down 10 NL HP. In addiotion assuming orange drops from 10 NL, that movement of kids to surround me would trigger at a minimum 3 AoO (one of which is a natural 20 to hit for 8 damage) from me and one AoO from Briggi. Are our attacks just not effective or something? If so we are just dead.. asking because I’ve seen no update on the the HP for kids on the field from any of these attacks. Oh and Briggs’s 14 hit a kid before.

The increasingly desperate situation, and the kids' eagerness to have a stab at Tisha instead of fleeing, finally overcome Ernhild's reluctance to fight the underage opponents, and she quickly decides there'll always be time to heal them up afterwards.
