This is an announcement from AbadarCorp Entertainment. Due to the observation of the festival of the herdable cat, the start of the mission to the Bulwark will be delayed until September 10.

We'll start the game on Sep 10, which gives you all a few more days to finish your games. Might just make the difference

Hmm, it was a couple of years ago that I pit the pregen alias together... I'd say I searched page-by-page. Although, back then, there would have been a few pages less, and I would have sorted them by reverse chronological order.

I happened across it by accident, while trying to track down the old BB code docs for pregens.

T-shirt: Once per session, reroll a single d20 and take the higher result, then add +1 for every GM nova.

Nufriend Skittermander (C1): Play a skittermander.

Starship

Skitterfriend (C7): Two different effects: if party numbers fewer than 6, a skittermander temporarily joins the crew during starship combat (see for details of modifiers) or at the start of every combat round the skittermander grants 1 PC a +1 bonus on any one skill check made during the round and, once per adventure, a PC who is being assisted can get dramatic assistance to reroll the skill check but this ends the skittermander’s assistance. (5 checkboxes left)

Spirits of a Doomed People (C6): If slotted and have 0 hit points and are dying, can check box to immediately gain 1 hit point and 2d8 temporary hit points even if not turn. (1 checkbox left).

Faction

Exo-Guardians Champion: Earns reputation with the Exo-Guardians faction.

Social

Live Air Celebrity (C10): Gain the following three benefits. 1) Once per adventure, can reroll a single failed Acrobatics or Athletics check. 2) Gain a +2 bonus to Profession (cook) Day Job checks and a +3 bonus to the check during an adventure if specifically called for in the text. 3) Once per adventure, when slay an enemy whose CR is equal to or less than your level -2, gain a +1 bonus to attack and weapon damage rolls against other enemies until the end of your next turn.

Slotless

Private Vault (C2): Own private 20x20 square chamber in the Communion Vaults to store items and bring guests, and entire area is warded by a CL10 nondetection effect.
Kadrical Rises (C8): Any new characters you create can worship Kadrical (details provided).
Izalraan Megafauna (C12): When selecting a creature companion for any of my characters, can select Izalraan Megafauna.
Nuclear Tools (C12): Can purchase a staff of nuclear vengeance.
Drat That Rat! (C12): Will be told when relevant.
Kiirinta Linguist (C14): Any of my SFS characters can select Kiirinta language.
Data Scourge Savior Once per scenario, if you would gain the frightened, panicked, or shaken condition as a result of failing a saving throw, you can reroll that saving throw. You must use the second result.

Unidentified

Journey to the Scoured Stars: Segment 6 (C6): Learned about the mentrasi, the history of the Scoured Stars, and the deity Kadrical. Will be told if relevant.

Hey Zoomba - to answer your question from Gameplay, Navasi has her plasma pistol (line), 2x smoke grenades and 2x sticky bombs.

So while she does have grenades, I don't think they will prove too useful in this situation.

Also, I'll keep an eye out for an Inspiring Boost (+19 SP) for those who've taken some damage.

For that line pistol (or any similar weapons) D'zyliit can give 'advantage' (roll twice, take better) with his Aid rolls once per Stamina rest (Helpful Telepath)

Beyond that, sadly his abilities could mostly enhance us in ways that swarms don't care about (AC boost, Reflex save, etc). Unlike most of my characters, I'm realizing I did drop the ball in getting him exploding ammunition or something similar.

Just for the sake of all of yours enjoyment: It is perfectly ok to abort this mission and move on to the next one. I would want to put you through the slog of whittling down two 50+ HP swarms and miss out on other missions.

What I was hoping we did was dissipate the swarm down, if they stay in the smoke they're basically going to get boned, so suggest we use the cover to move through, the smoke field lasts for aaaaaages. Or we send the docbot ahead as they probably aren't into eating machinery and it doesn't care about radiation.

Smoke is nasty, each round the saving throw gets harder, and the effects start causing damage - and once they fail saves they start getting stuck - and it lasts 10 rounds.

Hellih seems to not have a way to harm the swarm :( Which speaks to the fact that I never considered them in SFS;)

Don't feel bad--I always considered grenades an expensive waste of time and so never buy them, but now I realise they'd be pretty handy :)

For what it's worth, I'm all good to go with the bury them/run away and leave plan.

I never let any of my players leave home without at least 1 smoke grenade, and some of my characters (especially Big Jim) have multiple or a bayonet-slotted NIL Mercgrenage launcher with 3 of them.

I have used smoke so many times in combat and it can be an absolute game changer.

Best 40 credits you can spend in the game.

Looking ahead a bit, but once we've finished the common mission Diz's vote would be for the Elemental Nexus. We've seen some strange writings related to the elemental planes in earlier missions, and the shirren is curious about what they might mean and if its related to this voidglass and what the grioths are after here.

Each PC can try each obelisk once.

Each obelisk can grant only one success (i.e. the first PC to succeed gets the prize)
A PC can have multiple successes.
There's a (n undisclosed) limit to how many tries each Obelisk can take before it gets cranky.

So Altronus can no longer try Earth, but could still try (say) Water and Metal, potentially getting a success on both.

I don't think we're getting Metal (sad!) unless theer was a way for Blinky to get some buffs first (which I dont think we have).

As noted, Diz's hireling could also let him try the Metal attunement if Blinky still fails.

Also, he can give out some +2 enhancement bonuses to skill checks if any of you ask for them. can do up to 6 more after Blinky. Only lasts for a few rounds (6) so uncertain if attuning attempts are swift enough it might last for multiple attempts

Since your PFS id is in the low 800s, doesn't that mean that you have a campaign coin that grants an extra reroll?
