I am running a druid and I was wondering if having large sized companions ever becomes a hindrance or they become unusable due to size. Curious to hear from those with experience running a druid with large companions.

Directing this towards society play btw. Not posting a general question in the wrong spot. He just hit level 2 today and I was getting curious

It does become an issue occasionally. Always carry a scroll of Reduce Animal; better yet, get a Lesser Rod of Extend (good for any druid) and use one of those 2nd level spell slots for mods when you need it.

I also recommend using the ability boost to get the animal's INT to 3. Sentience is very handy for when you need to use Spider Climb on the animal.

Any word on whether the alternate animal companions listed in the Bestiary will be allowed in PFS?
