I have Protective Mentor boon, if you want. As for reactions, I have Cringe when I get Critically Hit, but I seldom use it except when I am dealing with bosses.

The Gather to Me tactic works best if the Commander wins initiative, runs towards the enemy and then brings the whole party with them, but it can also work to reposition during a battle since you can move anywhere in the aura of the banner.

My only doubt is that against the wrong spellcaster foe the results could be: "say cheese for the fireball!" (or other AoE) :P

I suppose we'd have a reasonable idea if this could happen though.
