You can retry checks made to disable traps if you miss the check by 4 or less, but......
Zartan thinks the energy pillar, obviously, deals energy damage; while the demon figure has some moving parts that needs to be jammed. The moment Zartan walks into the room, the looming statue opens its mouth to reveal a symbol.

Probably should have let the bomb squard come in first, on well....

Zartan Fort: 1d20 + 7 - 6 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 6 - 2 = 15
Abaal Fort: 1d20 + 9 - 5 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 9 - 5 - 2 = 13
Zaigan Fort: 1d20 + 10 - 5 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 10 - 5 - 2 = 14
Excruciating pain overwhelms the three that're in the room (Abaal, Zaigan, Zartan), and severely hinders their capability.

Spellcraft DC20:
This is symbol of pain. The effects will go away after you leave the effective range of the symbol (60ft) AND wait till the spell expire (it has 10min/CL duration). A symbol of pain can be removed by a successful dispel magic targeted solely on the rune

Running out of options, the Pathfinders return to the safe room and rest up. The pain goes away after about an hour or so, and the Pathfinders have to make do with cold, stone floor for the night.

**Refreshing daily ability counts and spell slots**

After a good night rest, the group return to the chamber. The energy pillars still brimming with its elemental energies. Using the roll from above Zartan managed to disbled the earth and water pillar, while others still need some more work. Today would be the last day for you to finish the gauntlet before many of you are permenantly weaken.

You haven't fail by 5 or more on your rolls, so Zartan you can retry if you want. Without the -4 pain effect, of course. You can keep rolling till you failed by 5 or succeeding the DC25.

Zartan managed to disabled the fire pillar, but accidentally triggered the ice pillar when he try to disable it. Luckily, he dodge out of the way when a surge of electricity run through the energy pillar. The artificial lightning ionize the air, producing a ozone scent.

Dmg: 6d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 1, 4, 6, 2) = 23
Reflex: 1d20 + 15 - 5 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 15 - 5 - 2 = 23

After all the traps are either triggered or deal with, you heard the green double door unlock.

Last room! New map is up in position 1

The green metal doors open to reveal a long platform running north to south along the western edge of a large, rectangular room stretching off to the east. Fifteen feet from the west wall, the floor falls away into a dark pit nearly thirty feet across that ends in an equal-sized ledge along the chamber’s east wall. At the center of that wall is a sturdy golden door with silver hinges— perhaps leading to the entrance chamber and your final escape from the Gauntlet dungeon! A thin stone bridge, wide enough to cross in single-file, leads from the east ledge to the west.

Perception: 1d20 + 17 - 5 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 17 - 5 - 2 = 25
Zartan thinks that the suspicious stone bridge is trapped.

You heard the Master of Swords' muffled voice coming from behind the golden door, "All you have to do now is to cross the bridge and go through the golden door. Come on, you got this!"

Not sure if Ashwell can see the google slide map, so I am going to try to explain the room here.
Let's say the room is mostly rectangle in shape, bird view. And the layout would be letter H
The left vertical line would be the ledge you guys will be arriving at, the right vertical line is the ledge where the exit is. The center horizontal line, is the 30ft long 5ft wide stone bridge that connect both ledges. The whitespace above and below the horizontal line in H would be the dark pit.

The stone bridge does not detect as magical.

Would you like to cast Fly on everyone? Or let Zartan disable the trap so that people can go through the bridge.

It works every time at the end of every 80's fantasy action film where the hero has a big sword, and the Throw Anything feat. ;)

Elby can remember only 'shiny good, colorful bad', and checks which they are. Though she is more inclined to pass regardless, weakened as she is.

They are young Copper Dragon, Chaotic Good medium dragon. They can breath acid or slow you down, 150ft fly.

Moving us along. I assumed no one wants to fight dragons in a weakened state? New-ish map is up in position 1 if that matters.

The weakened Pathfinders are in no state for a proper fight, and instead rush to the golden door with their Fly spell. The Pathfinders hurry through the door and slam it shut to block the acid breaths from the dragons. Behind the door is the long stone chamber, identical in appearance to the entry chamber! The deans of the Pathfinder Society stand up as you walk into the room, and applaud. “You’ve made it!” exclaims Master of Spells Sorrina Westyr, beaming with pride. “Rest assured, this is truly the end and you have finally succeeded. Step through the doors and to your destiny!”

"The medics are waiting outside as well."

The last room's challenge is indeed merely make it through the golden door. This would be the end of the Gauntlet! Congratulations on surviving the Gauntlet. See Discussion thread for boon stuff.

"Plot armor." Abaal scowls as well. I mean really, the medics are just 'waiting outside'. And technically he unless he's like 3rd level, Marcos, would be more annoyed by being pinned to the wall like a display butterfly and the damage to his shirt than he would the 10ish hp. ;)

Zartan looks at the spot where Abaal's blade is stopped short and waves a hand, My wounds have wounds and I feel weaker than I have since the first time I went to Sevenfinger's tomb. I'm going to the medic and bed.

While Abaal throws his sword at the supposed Master of swords, Zaigan wont let his shield and scimitar down as he prepares for monstrous beings to reveal themselves. When nothing such emerges, he starts to realize these are the real deans of the Society.

The caring mother among the deans Easily dismissing the Fleeting Emergency Force Sphere, Sorrina stands up from her seats and catches up to the Pathfinders that're leaving, handing them 3 pins made from platinum in the shape of the gauntlet. "Don't forget, you guys won a gauntlet pin from each of us to celebrate your victory in the Gauntlets. Now go rest knowing that you have conquered one of the hardest challenge."

Yes, you can trade them for 3 extra pp on top of the 2 pp you got normally from completing the module. The other option is very good as well. 1 PP for 4 hour of Heroism, is 24 CL worth of that 10min/CL spell, while normally 2 PP can only get you 10 CL worth of Heroism via scroll.
