On Time Out

The room you guys are in looks structurely sounds, and you don't find any trap. Nothing radiate as magical in here.
Light struggles to penetrate the darkness beyond the narrow gap to the next area. The paladin can tell that whatever lies ahead, got some pretty strong evil aura to it/them.

"Not much."

Also lost detect evil to the archetype.

On Time Out

Assuming Zaigan didn't trade Detect Evil away
Zaigan probably never encounter something this evil before. The floor, the wall, the ceiling, the air, everything smells evil to him. The darkness beyond the gap is so thick that your wayfinder's light doesn't work at all, but those with darkvision elemental kins, half-orc, etc can tell that there's a cavern lies ahead.

Correct

Clearly nervous Zaigan stands between his comrades scimitar in hand. "There is something evil there, but I'm not sure whether its a monster or spell effect. Be prepared for anything."

On Time Out

Looks like the Pathfinders doesn't need to or want to rest, and are all anxious about the unknown dark that they about to venture in. Now it's a good time for the fortify yourself part, and I will move us to the next map tonight.

Less than 80 mins. I would say 20 mins-ish have passed since you enter the first room with traps and adamantine snakes.

New map is up in position 1. You enter from the left, where the red arrow is.

Deeper into the cavern, its walls fade to the color of pitch black night. The darkness drips down the walls, like an oily resin coating the place from some unknown source. The air is oppressive and pungent. Whatever lines the cavern emits a strong alchemical smell.

If you have darkvision:
You can kinda see a passage to a room on the right side of the cavern(pink arrow), and there's a tunnel that extend out into another dark cavern on the top(blue arrow).

Now I would like to know what light source you guys are using

Primarily he wants to see who can see in the dark, which seems to be everyone (Kali?). Usually those folks carry a standard light source of their own. Secondarily he wants someone else's torch so that they can hold it as he would probably have to drop his in a fight. Normally he uses his wayfinder on a chain for magical light. He'll break out a torch if he has to as the magic doesn't seem to be working here, probably due to magical darkness (which he might be able to determine via detect magic, Knowledge (arcana), and Spellcraft).

Looks like 40 to 50 feet to cross the cavern. And don't forget to look up.

On Time Out

Zaigan probably only have half-elf's low-light vision, which means he's also be relying on torch. He's a sword and board and doesn't seem to have a spare hand for it, however. I didn't find other people having torch on the sheet. Maybe Kali can hold the torch and the three Pathfinder that don't have darkvision can move together?
Abaal extends his torch, waiting for his teammates to carry the torch so that he can two-handed his Blade Blade, while try to check for magic aura in the room. There doesn't seem to be any magic aura that shows up on Detect Magic's radar besides Pathfinders' own aura.

Zartan Samuel wrote:

(For those with dark-vision or near the torch) Looking up, The ceiling is covered with the same gooey/resinous substance that also covers the wall and the floor. Droplets of this unknown substance fall from the celing from time to time. You can't tell what this substance is made of.

Just as he want to move forward for a closer inspection, he picks up a sound of a black goo droplet that fall from the ceiling landing NOT on the resinous floor. He immediately turn around by purely muscle memories from his years of Pathfinder-ing, and sees two bald and emaciated humanoid figures staring at him with their empty eye sockets. You recognize that those are Kurobozu, also known as black monks, jealous undeads that arise when monks dies under circumstances that violate the precepts of his or her monastic training. They're known to retains some the same disciplined training it had in life. (It gains the monk’s evasion, AC bonus, stunning fist, and flurry of blows class features and unarmed strike damage as a monk of equal level to its Hit Dice. A kurobozu’s stunning fist lasts 1 round longer than normal.)

Kn(Religion) DC21:
Kurobozus carry out their jealous fantasies by murdering living monks, especially members of their former monastery or monastic tradition. They do so by dealing Wisdom damage with their unarmed strike, and is capable of stealing the opponent's Ki point to heal themselves in the process(Fort save negate).
Kurobozu is 黒坊主 in Minkaian/Japanese, literaly translated to "black priest"

Zartan's gladius pierce right through red monk's heart and severed several ribs on its way out. The red monk doesn't bleed, however. It sidestep to flank Zartan with the blue monk who is charging at Zartan. Zartan does a defensive spins and managed block both of their punches with the his dual gladius. The sharp, metallic ring echoes the cave.

You hear the hollow, haunting murmur coming from them (in common)
"Impressive, warrior. Your skill is unexpected and commendable."
"But you shall find no solace in your abilities here, for our hunger knows no bounds."

Since nobody say that they will take over Abaal's torch, I will assumed that Abaal is holding a torch in one hand, weapon on the other. The torch's 20ft dim light is just enough to reach and illuminate blue's position, allowing Knowledge check for people. Zartan's magical gladius also glows and reveals the second one.
Abaal can drop the torch as a free action before he attacks.

Fire burning bright on his swords Zartan brings blue back into flanking.

Attack, two weapon fighting, flank: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 11 + 2 = 31

On Time Out

Zartan backstabs and breaks the blue monk's spine, and blue collapses to the ground. The second attack misses.

Could someone bot Kali?

On Time Out

Without a botting instruction, I will just delay her then.

Also some update on the damage number, since a monk's BAB change when they flurry...so one less hit on Abaal, but all other hits hit slightly harder.

The monk steps right next to the stunned Abaal, and put his mouth on Abaal's mouth and tries to suck the air out of Abaal. Abaal successfully resisted the monk's breath-draining-kiss.

On Time Out

The hammer absolutely shatters the body of the remaining monk. Combat is over!

After recovery, the team move to inspect the odd room that's in this cave. The small side passage opens out to a worked room covered with sandstone tiles. The tiles are scrawled with writing, diagrams, and pictograms. The writing and pictures are a scrambled mess. While chunks of writing seem to detail some complex messages or ideas, the chaos of the room’s decor disorients the senses. And then some of the writing moves.

Does anyone wish to examine the writing on the wall?

Zartan steps into the room and checks for traps before attempting to read the wall. If nothing goes awry he motions the others forward.

On Time Out

For Zartan:
As you read the shifting script upon the walls, the words seem to coalesce, forming sentences that speak of riddles and the darkest blasphemies of the multiverse. They tease at the edges of your understanding, offering hints of knowledge hidden from the common world. The text swirls and dances, revealing fragments of a cosmic puzzle that both intrigues and disquiets. However, as quickly as the sentences form, they disassemble into a sea of individual letters and symbols, as if mocking the seeker of truth. As you reads the disorienting text, your senses begin to swim. A queasy feeling washes over you, and the world around you blurs and distorts.
Spoiler:

Will save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
1d8 ⇒ 4

You are sickened by the vast amount of forbidden knowledge that the text imparts to you, but the knowledge has also made your senses preternatural. +6 untype to Perception and Initiative for 24h

As you process the new insight that the text bestows you, you sense that the more you delve into the forbidden knowledge, the greater your chances of gaining another powerful advantage. Do you wish to continue reading?
