I don't think I've ever played a paladin in Pathfinder (cavaliers were my heavily armored riders of choice in 1e.)
The product I'm working on now includes Champions of Neutrality (just in time for the mechanics for Neutrality to be done away with) so I've been thinking about making one and, since I haven't played a human in 2e, making a human paladin but I just can't find any inspiration.
It also doesn't help that I play almost exclusively online and the champion reactions often disrupt things.
But maybe I'll create a stereotypical happy drunk clergyman and make a Caydenite.

Also, I forgot to ask for this part. If everyone can provide the following information, I can get the Chronicles out.

On paladins
I’ve never understood why so many people insist on playing paladins as pushy moral scolds. To me, people who dedicate themselves to serving the greater good usually have a great well of understanding and compassion within them, usually born from their own life’s trials and tribulations. If they are warriors, it is so they can protect and preserve. If they find glory in battle, it is because they have prevented the forces of evil from harming the weak or the innocent. A good paladin should be humble and yet driven by a sense of duty. In a brief stint in a Kingmaker campaign, Impasha spent most of her time in a poor peasant dress working in an orphanage, and providing a soup kitchen for the poor — only strapping on the plate and sword when her queen called her to a mission.
In crafting Impasha, I intentionally gave her a rather Augustinian backstory, so that she’d come to her calling after bottoming out in a wasted existence. That provides all the motivation she could ever need. I also hearkened back to the original ideals of the Templar knights, who took vows of poverty and chastity and devoted themselves 100% to the service of protecting pilgrims. It was actually a pretty crazy life to aspire to, but in the way that all saints are a little crazy. It’s a good crazy, I suppose.
For moment to moment decisions, my roleplaying shortcut for Impasha was WWWWD — What would Wonder Woman Do? It’s a little corny, but I find that character’s essentially goodness and nobility to be a good role model for my imagination.

I think there is an awful lot of people who play them as scolds because they want to tell people what to do in real life and this is a way for them to have a little 'authority' - I think it usually says a lot more about the player than the class. Some people are just socially mal-adjusted and it really shows.
WWWWD is a pretty good benchmark :)

Regarding paladins, shrug.
My PFS2 paladin is a surf dude rave enthusiast.
I think now they have been de-linked from Lawful Good they can do what they want and they are now Champions, interestingly though the Paladin and Redeemer are quite solid choices, but the others are a bit trash.

I will be taking slow.
Crazy as it is, Kal is the first organized play character I have ever leveled out.

It always throws me off a little when I see Shifty's organized play #. Then I remember why he deserves it.
I should have the chronicles finished by tomorrow and everything reported.

Thanks EF - it was a lovely surprise when I got my Campaign Coin. I have really enjoyed all the work I did for the Online community and also more locally here. It has also been good pioneering things like 'How do we have an RPG con on a cruise ship?' - being the apparent first in the world to do so (Beating D3atSea by around 6 months!)

Ok, fellows here are your CHRONICLES.
Let me know if there are any errors.
Everything is reported.
I'm currently prepping 10-20 Countdown to Round Mountain. I'll post in here when it's ready and anyone who wants to continue on the ride will be welcome.

I think Impasha is now leveled out, but I have other high level characters. I assume 10-20 is another 7-11 adventure?

Looks good! Thanks for running, and hope Diazepane gets to see everyone else again later.

Yes, I ordered them so that the higher levels ones came out at the end.

EbonFist |

I also haven't had a character level out. My highest is 10th, I believe.

I havent played no seeker content either- or any of the “classic” high levels adventures (Eyes of ten, etc)

![]() |

I can bring Ingrge or should be able to revert back to Myth for the next one…
I really enjoy Seeker adventures, but they’re hard to find and they fill up fast…
I’ve got one seeker, Flyn, he’s 16th level; he’s played the following Seeker adventures:
Eyes of the Ten (all 4 scenarios)
Race for the Runecarved Key (one scenario, Tier 12-15)
Academy of Secrets (one module)
Before I retire him, would really like to play Passing the Torch (2 scenarios) and The Witchwar Legacy (1 module). Impasha/Q, you’d probably be interested in Witchwar as it’s an adventure to explore the place where Elvanna was imprisoned by Baba Yaga…
I’ve also GM’ed two Seeker modules:
Tomb of the Iron Medusa
The Moonscar
Enjoyed the experience but it’s a bit more involved than running lower level scenarios as the PCs are so powerful…most of the players were experienced GMs and knew the rules better than I so they kept me straight…

For anyone wanting to continue on the Hao Jin Saga, I present Countdown to Round Mountain.
