Swix is a frontline or second-line support / utility martial, who takes a moment to study his foes before attacking them, is able to passively buff party Recall and Perception checks, heal reliably once per encounter, and deal significant single-target damage in melee. He is capable of using scrolls of any tradition, and can support the party with a couple Charisma-based skills.
Currently 2nd level, he will soon advance to 3rd level, and finish the series a 4th level character.

What do we need for this run? I can make a Rogue is that will be necessary... I can make my fast-talkin' Varisian... (I always equate them to Irish Travelers in the UK... only darker in complexion.)

I guess we're with enough GMs that everyone has two Hero Points to start with, and please state your school item.
With the changes in characters, I see we still have four level 1 characters and one level 2 character, so that puts us at 11 challenge points.

We have enough distracters, but I need one more trapper. You can do more than a single check, so don't feel like you're out of the game because you've already made one check.

Wizel: the Dehydrate spell is weird. Please tell me if I'm interpreting this right.
- You cast the spell. The spell tags people with persistent damage, but nothing happens just yet.
- On the creature's turn, they make a save to see if they resist, and take damage accordingly.
- On future turns, they get another save and take damage.
Is this how you see this as well? I've never seen this spell in action before, so I wanna make sure I'm doing this right.

I think the same. The spell says:
A creature affected by dehydrate attempts an additional Fortitude save at the end of each of its turns, before rolling to recover from the persistent damage. It can forgo this additional save if it consumed water or a similar hydrating liquid within the last round

You can do anything you want in the meantime. You can heal up, set up some sort of trap, or go back to sorting the junk and see if you can find more useful stuff.
I am unsure the timeline here - might be "you don't know how much time passes" which folks seem to have a hard time making use of in terms of impetus to do something.
Swix has:
1) Refocused (10 min)
2) Identified (10 min)
If there is possibly more than 20 minutes to do something, I would gladly commit to another "look for things" check, just moving conservatively with respect to time!

Hey PbP folks!
I am headed to the hospital to have my first kid, and so my posting may be a little spotty today and the next few days. Some of my characters have better botting instruction than others, so I apologize in advance for that. That said, I may be able to poke in here and there at reduced posting capacity, probably requesting assistance with Maps, etc. To the games I am running, I will do my best to prioritize those first, best I can.
