Note: The elemental bloodline changes the type of Lindevaile Tindome's damage to bludgeoning. "Pummel with winds" says the book. Only for bloodline spells, though.

Feels a bit weird to use Produce Flame and Burning Hands that do bludgeon damage as they are air, but that's the way it works.

Appears 1-17 is much easier to prep than the first one. So far, it's fight off the crazed king and run for the exit...

Real life prep is similar. This one is set up similarly to the other - skill challenge, combat, dance or chase, final combat.

But the dance and trap section of the last one required a slower pace in PbP since one rounds actions depended on the previous ones results more. This chase you just had to stay ahead of the pursuing Qxal.

If you know anything about encounter budgets for scenarios, the ease of that redcap encounter should scare you. Qxal is a proper challenge.

The good thing is that with his staff of water some of the spells can do different things within a watery context.

Forgot to mention at the time, but since you reached the Unsinkable before Qxal reached the Bloody Mire, you had enough time to spot and recover a cache of Bhopanese art objects that washed downriver during Qxal’s assault on Hoba Dukuza.

There's the boat on the deck in the map. Is it difficult terrain, does it provide cover if line of sight goes over it?

So unless Qxal has 1,000 hp (they might!) it's pretty evident we are coming to a close for Part 2 of these two scenarios.

Feel free to make downtime (earned income, crafting, etc) rolls here if you wish.
