Hello fellows,
I'll be going on vacation today. I'm heading to Austin so I probably will have internet connectivity but probably won't be able to post. Bot me as necessary, please and thank you.

This is a bounty for Level 1 characters. If you don't have a character in that range, you could play a pregen (or generate a new character, of course!).
Here's what I do for setting up a table:
(1) I go to https://paizo.com/community/forums/campaigns/playByPost and click 'add new thread'. This creates the gameplay thread.
(2) I give the thread a title and post some text
(3) I then click 'create campaign'
(4) I create a discussion thread for the campaign (that where we are now!)
(5) I go to 'Campaign Info' -> Edit this campaign, and in the short description paste the links to handouts and RPG Chronicles.RPG Chronicles:
(1) I log in with my account and click 'My Sessions' -> Create new sign up sheet
(2) I fill out all the details
(3) I click 'copy sign up link' and paste the URL to the Campaign info (see step 5 above)Maps and Handouts:
(1) I create a google slides document. You can right-click on 'Steal this template' in my tag-line, and then click File -> Make a Copy -> Entire Presentation to get your own!
(2) I click share and set general access to 'Anyone with the link' and change 'View' to 'Editor' (<--- This bit is very important)
(3) I click 'copy link' and paste that in the Campaign info as well.
1-5 is the assignment?

How to post a link, copy the address? Ok, lets try:
Go to https://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75ivn8k/discussion#1.
Finish assignment?

I'm purposefully revealing two rooms to avoid some inevitable 'next-room-next-room' back and forth. I'll leave it up to you to say 'next room' for the final room ;-)

Bigrin has a really good guide (link) on how to do this successfully

Awww, you're making me blush

You can get the url of a specific post from the timestamp just left of 'FLAG'. If you right-click and copy the link address you can paste it in a 'url' tag.
For example, the url of this post is:
https://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75ivn7s/discussion&page=2#67
So to refer to it you'd create a link to that url in a tag

Ah, sorry, yes. That makes sense. I was going to copy the slides from a master presentation.
Hopefully you can view it here

What about blurry maps, just don't zoom?
Yeah, there's only so much you can do unless you really want to do a lot. In theory you could probably enhance the images through some sort of editing software, but I don't know of many/any folks doing that.
As long as you've taken the image from the product and put it in your slide deck, it's probably good enough quality.

Ya, just prefer to see the grid more clearly..
One thing you can do is rotate your image 90 degrees then increase the size so that it fills the slide horizontally instead of vertically (Assuming your map is taller than it is wide.)
Slides will do some work to clear it up as you increase the size and then the fuzziness on the zoom will be mitigated, a bit.
Depending on how much of the map you need at one time, you can break it up into multiple maps and do the same thing (rotating it and increasing the size.)

Well, when you use snipping tools, you are limiting the max resolution of the image to whatever zoom ratio you are displaying and that of the screen you are putting it on. It also keeps all the "GM layer" text that you may not want the players to see.
Compare your Slide 5 to Slide 6. I took the liberty of creating a duplicate, opening the PDF in FoxitReader and copying the map layerand pasting it directly into the slide, then rotating and scaling before setting it up as a background. See the difference in quality?
And I am not everywhere, just many places. Your GM mentor asked me to help fill in at this table since there was an empty seat :)

It's good to be in this class to learn from other people's mistakes.
Otherwise, it's easy to end up bumbling around wondering why your results don't quite match with those around you.

Thanks, look perfect now, so just copy.

I'd say, run it as if you had recruited a game on the boards. Pretend like you're starting a fresh table. You and thoughtfulmonkey can start at the same time.

Exactly how you kick off is up to you. You probably want to do a couple (or all) of the following things:
- Welcome the players
- Ask them for information (for example, PFS numbers)
- Inform them how you want to run things
- Tell your players what to fill out on the handouts (for example, upload a token onto the map, provide init modifiers)
- Ask your players to introduce themselves and their characters

I'm on holiday this week, so might be a bit slower to post. Please bot my characters if it takes too long.

How do we report chronicles? Set up rpg chronicles or manually? Just read the chronicles and fill accordingly?
Hmm, we almost finish? Nice..
You can do either.
If you do it manually, there are lots of ways of doing it. I usually fill out the GM portions in Acrobat (but you could use any PDF editing software) then share those in a drive.
