If we play high tier, 3rd level characters get a level bump if I'm not mistaken.
Do you want us to adjust our stat lines and character sheets to take that into accord? Would probably be easier that way.
Also, do any higher-level characters have any additional level bump boons (like Protective Mentor that my faction Radiant Oath would give)?

I know I said we'd start on the 16th, but if everyone is ready to go, we can start early...
Feel free to post over in Gameplay to introduce your character
Once everyone checks in, we can start in earnest...

I put the standard level bumb and rugged mentor bonuses on Lindevaile Tindome's page and status lines. Easier for me that way.

![]() |

What is the level bump information?
Are there any boons for lower level characters that we can apply?

![]() |

This character has no mentor boons BUT has 2 Glyphs.
Mentor Boons are free, they just require 20 Reputation with a faction. So if he's level 3 he should probably get one.
But you don't benefit from your own Mentor Boons, only from those belonging to higher-level characters. So yours doesn't matter in this case anyway.

I've applied the level bump, which is why I have Zibini listed as level "3+" in his profile at the moment. This is level bump:
"To provide low level players a more fun and fair experience, PCs whose level equals the adventure’s base level (such as a 3rd-level PC playing in a Level 3–6 scenario) gain a temporary boost when playing in the higher level range called a level bump to represent the higher-level PCs’ mentorship and support.
*Increase every DC the PC has by 1.
*Increase the attack modifiers, attack damage, spell damage, saving throw modifiers, skill modifiers, Perception modifiers, and AC of the PC by 1.
*Increase the Hit Point totals of the PC by 10 or by 10%, whichever is higher."
Azu's Rugged Mentor improves saves by 1 more:
"While working with less experienced Pathfinder allies, you provide important insights that keep your less experienced colleagues safe from harm. For any PCs benefiting from a Level Bump and whose levels are lower than yours, you increase the Level Bump’s modifier to saving throws to 2."
Kaitlyn is Radiant Oath, so presumably has Protective Mentor? That improves HP, but the amount depends on her Reputation.

Just heard from our sixth player, so we should be able to start up a few days early. Make sure our level 3s have applied their level bump (described above, thanks) as we will be at high subtier (CP 19)...

![]() |

Are we high tier? I need to adjust Kat's statblock -- she's level 4. 3 glyphs to share.

![]() |

looks like my players from B21 are here as well...

![]() |

We are high tier... 19 CP by my count
Level bumps for the level 3 players...
5 glyphs so far. Anyone else have one?
Rugged Mentor boon available from Azu. Any others? You can benefit from two at the same time.

![]() |

I should have Protective Mentor. I think it's just the 1hp bump since she's only lvl 4.

![]() |

@Zibini Great, everyone will start with 2 hero points. I have placed them next to your character art on the handout/maps page.
Have any of you played Pathfinder Society Scenario #1–11: The Flames of Rebellion with this character?

![]() |

I haven't played it, but I have a GM Chronicle for it.

Not with this character.

![]() |

Also not with this character.
One HP bump, so 3 HP?
Yes. 3 hp.

![]() |

I somehow got confused and thought this was a more recent event. But it all gave us a nice roleplay with different ages for races.

![]() |

2 minor healing potions for Kat.
Sword (Lvl 5-6):
Barkskin potion, emerald grasshopper, dragon turtle scale OR
Lesser Healing Potion

Lindevaile Tindome can use Fascinating Performance to draw attention from the plants, and the moment can be used by the rest of the team to sneak past. It can affect 4 targets as she's expert.
I tried something similar in last scenario, it didn't work as I planned, but it might work this time.
I have no idea why on earth plants can be fascinated by her dance, but the feat doesn't have mental trait, so anything that can sense her can be affected.
Also, where do we want to get? Right side of map?

![]() |

They don't seem to have eyes and they haven't noticed us? We could go to the middle of map without alerting them, we'd be as away from them as we are now. I'm a bit worried that there might be another batch of them nearby, blocking the other tree bridge. But Lindevaile Tindome can jump (scroll) over the chasm and attach a rope for us to get over from between the trunk bridges, so we might avoid getting too close to the plants.
Are we trying to get south, across the chasm?

![]() |

@GM Erich I realize this is kind of meta-gaming, but is there any chance we can reason with her? I ask because I don't want to slow the game down if the scenario makes it clear that doing so is a dead end.

![]() |

You can certainly say whatever you wish and hope for an instant end to hostilities, but formally making an impression and actually changing attitudes usually takes much longer. From first impressions, she doesn't seem like she wants to wait "to punish" you.

![]() |

We could now possibly just run past the encounter, either going around north or over the chasm to south. Lindevaile Tindome has a scroll of jump to get over the ravine, and can take a rope with her for others to use for getting over.
Or the plant lady might be a bit easier to persuade now, as she's lost her high ground.

Literally! :)

![]() |

I hate those little warriors that are popping out, they gave the party I was Dming through Age of Ashes a hard time, lol.

![]() |

btw, my home internet is down ATM so there will be delays in posting. So I might usually post ahead when my turn draws near.

![]() |

I put a marker for the Glitterdust on the map, just to show aiming. Just delete it after saves are rolled.

![]() |

GM, btw, was there a significance to having played (or run) 01-11 (Flames of Rebellion?) Kat has a GM Chronicle for it (I also have the reaction boon, which I always forget to use!)

![]() |

@Kat Yes, that's why you knew the extra info about Selmius being a “pompous buffoon” and such during the briefing knowledge checks.

![]() |

My cleric of Calistira had a nice time with the young ruler after her group finished the Flames of Rebellion, in a way only a Calistrian could do.

![]() |

Just noticed I had the majority of the latest posts.
I'm not trying to hog attention here. The posts just happened such way and such times that I had some ideas to write, and this is just the kind of situation she's good at.
Lindevaile Tindome bows and steps aside. Stage is all yours to present yourself to the king.

![]() |

I might be without internet service over the weekend. So if I'm quiet, that's why.

![]() |

I'm not sure about what is the group's direction.
Kaitlyn wants to do things legally so 1 for dance.
Lindevaile Tindome likes dancing but is not opposed to thieving. So abstain.
Kyra seemed to agree to thievery a bit reluctantly, seems like abstain.
Zibini didn't oppose thievery, I'm not sure of attitude toward dance. Abstain or 1 to thievery.
So it's
Dance 1
Thievery 0 or 1
Azu, Iustanus?

![]() |

Also, just to be clear, Lelzeshin is just offering to help you sneak into the vault to get information about Selmius and the others. No real "thievery" to speak of. But there would be a chance to get caught...
So yes, if everyone can "vote" here, it would help to decide which version of the dance to run.
