I'll roll this evening. Wanted to give people a chance to ask questions and-or-take non-combat actions before doing so.

They won init (not flat-footed) and Djack's got allies between himself and the enemy so he can't charge for sneak damage.

Gotta wait to see what possible flanking opportunities open up.

Been a bust past couple weeks, but I'll get on that post now.

Sure can. It should be just 1 diagonal square northwest of you and then one more west, so taking that 1 diag will put you in melee range.

Woo, I'm helping! Glad that with my build I can summon as a standard instead of a full round, so the staggered condition wasn't too detrimental.

I believe bardic inspiration would work on summons and things like that. The flag would not.

Yeah, I figured that would be the case. Unless you had a flag for the party itself, her summons wouldn't be tied to the town in any way.

They were not rolled.

Frog was trying to Grab?

Amideo presumed it was a miss. Some folks roll attack and if they miss don't roll damage.

DM said it was a hit and probably rolled damage off screen.

Normally I'd say yes, but technically I screwed up letting you get away with the first sneak. The creature has blindsight. It takes no penalties from visual blindness.

In general I prefer to rule DM mistakes in favor of the player. You're good.

I think because of the nature of the medium, just call your action unless it's dependent on someone else's.

Sorry everyone, it's been a crazy time.

We're taking in a friend who was about to literally be homeless. She makes over $20 an hour and she can't afford to live alone anywhere in town. This is not a major city. It's an 80,000 population area. But a high speed toll road was just completed to Toronto. And now rich a&!!#+*s who don't mind driving to work are starting to snap up property. Like many places, bidding wars are starting over rents.

Anyway, to make a long story slightly shorter, we're taking her in. When I say we, I mean my wife, myself, and our severely depressed housemate. It's a 3 bedroom. We are about to have 4 people, and a dog, living in this place. There is one bathroom.

I'm not saying this to vent, only to give everyone a sense of the upheaval that is going on. This place was crammed floor to ceiling already with the belongings of three grown adults. Our new tenant is putting most of her belongings in storage; however, she still needs at least one room.

We call this place "The Madhouse" and that's becoming truer all the time.

So bot me all you want right now, and I'll be here more often soon.

If I remember correctly, something about eye(s) in the back of its head makes it immune to flanking... sorta 360 vision.

I'm RPing, might not be something Djack knows yet. He's never encountered these things.

Right, uh, they're doing a hell of a lot of damage to us and we're dealing chip damage to them. I can Chanel, but that will basically heal them of everything they've taken from us. I think we need to retreat.

Yeah, I'm beginning to think a withdrawal is in order. Unfortunately, that might end up with them chasing us to that cliff edge

Even worse, I think Xorn have earth glide. We might be utterly hosed unless they're content t to remain in their "home".
