The only time you multiclass as a Caster, if you are going Arcane Trickster, or another Prestige class that also increases caster spell slots....lol.

Like Crispin, I have no idea what Becky's gold share would be since the last distribution. She might want to buy a cloak of resistance +1 if she can afford it.

Mauro Ocela |

@Becky and @Crispin
to figure out how much money you have, look at the Loot Sheet (linked at the top of the page). We just finished book 2. So go to the tab labelled Book 2 (not Book 2 GM Copy - that's Ventiine's to play with), and scroll to the bottom (approximately 120 rows down). The value you want is the cash split (not the reserved) beside your name. Becky is H117, Crispin is H118.
If you want to claim something from the looted items, you put your name beside it in column I. This will revised the values in the summary table automatically.

By the Loot Sheet for Book 2:
Crispin: Claimed 1,270 GP worth of items, has 31,725.23 gold to spend.
Becky: Claimed 7,320 GP worth of items, has 25,675.23 gold to spend.
Asher: Claimed 8,250 GP worth of items, has 24,745.23 gold to spend.
As for Becky buying a Cloak of Resistance +1, Talath can craft one if the PCs have 2 days.

How long to craft another Pearl of the Sirines?
Asher spent almost all his cash, but it's next on his list. Well, after some barding for Huntress.
Maybe it's time to start a Book 3 loot sheet. Let's clear out all the sold items and transfer the unspent gold to the new sheet. We'll also remove any items that have been claimed and distribute out some consumables.

Mauro Ocela |

Thank you, Mauro for providing for the Loot List!
You should thank Asher, he does the work, I just explain how it works occasionally...

Mauro Ocela |

@Talath, 2 questions
1) I think you wanted the Handy Haversack? Right now it is just listed as save, so if you want it, you should put your name beside it.
2)
Is the +1 Breastplate Talath has in his Temporary Items Mauro's?
Yep, I got it from the loot in Book 1. If you want to keep it, I'll sell it to you at cost (675 gp).

Yeah, we are starting a new book, so a new sheet is a good idea...

Mauro Ocela |

@GM Ventiine, is there any way we can figure out if the Message Bottles we captured (from impostor "Carver") have messages in them?

Make sure Huntress took an armor proficiency feat. I didn't realize Pathfinder had eliminated the 'Barding trick' from 3.5.

1) Short answer: Yes.
I'm sending the GM a PM about posting something (the blurb from Book 3) on Paizo's website but let's just say storing scrolls may become an issue so the Handy Haversack will be important for everyone's scrolls. I don't know if anyone else has as many as Talath so he'll take the financial bite and buy it.2) Go ahead and sell it. Talath will be sporting some 'aquatic armor' with the GM's permission since I've been reading more about Aquatic Elves and the types of armor, shields, and weapons they wear/use. If anyone likes the armor Talath is using (it's the equivalent of mithral armor), I don't think the GM would mind. I just wish I were better at writing descriptions so it sounded as cool as I see it in my mind.

Opinion question: For Talath's 7th level feat the short list so far are Great Fortitude (would push his Fort save to +11), Improved Initiative (although that might be a lost cause), and Improved Toughess (can't go wrong with 7 more HP). Any thoughts? If I would've known about Bless Equipment earlier, I would've taken Extra Channeling with his 5th level feat but I didn't.

How about Quckk Channel, so you can channel and still cast a spell in the same round?
I am also always in favor of Improved Initiative on a caster.

Looks like it takes a Move Action and costs 2 of your daily channels.

Asher 'Cinnis' Regillenus |

Yes, but in combat, it would allow him to heal the party and still cast a spell. He can always get Extra Channels later, which would also benefit Bless Equipment as well.

Since we're only going through Book 3 we'll only see one more feat at 9th level. So no Bless Equipment and, with only 5 channels, Quick Channel isn't going to help right now.
For everyone's info, if they haven't read it, here's the blurb for Book 3:
The Flooded Cathedral
"Down in the Flood
As the adventurers work to track down the missing colonists, the trail leads to a nearby island. There, they discover the submerged ruins of a cathedral dedicated to a now-dead god; the site has become a lair of an ichthyic monster and its cunning minions. The adventurers must fight their way through flooded chambers and vicious monsters to rescue the kidnapped colonists and learn of a greater threat to the region—and to humanity as a whole."

Talath Na'El |

Two things:
1) Do we want Talath to carry a casting or two of 'Glimpse of Truth' and use it around town?
Scroll down past True Seeing to read Glimpse of Truth
Note it does have a 50 GP spell component and lasts only 1 round.
2) I'm having issues with my eyes so I may post less and there might be more typos/errors so apologies in advance.

Asher 'Cinnis' Regillenus |

I have set up a third loot sheet and transferred all of the items, cash, and totals. Update your spent amount by what you just bought, so you know your free cash. Also, if you want any of the items that remain unclaimed, put your name next to them to reserve them. We can dispose of the rest of the items for cash.

Mauro Ocela |

Mauro will spend a further 50 gp on a phrenologist's kit... Also, as a party, do we have any skill buffing magic beyond Guidance?
@Talath, a scroll or two of Glimpse of Truth might be real useful, but I wouldn't be burning them around town. What I would urge is a sweep of the entire surviving population with Detect Charm...

If we want to do that I'd advise buying some Wands of Detect Charm for 750 GP each since it's on the spell list for Clerics, Occultists, Bards, and Arcanists. And I think our new rogue has UMD? Basically we'd be better off having multiple PCs 'sweeping' the area.
Given what's happened I'm not sure anyone is going to agree to either round up or be rounded up for the PCs to scan everyone.

I will get that done but with my eyes it may take a while. I'm still trying to decide between a couple of items.
If anyone needs suggestions for items because they have too much gold I'd recommend a scroll or two of True Seeing. It's a 5th but Talath can try to activate it.
Talath Na'El |

Here's what I have for Talath's purchase list; he's 1,377 GP short on gold.
Item Cost
Upgrade Cloak of Resistance from +1 to +2 1500
Mithral Agile Breastplate (Aquatic Version) 4400
Upgrade Breastplate to +2 4000
Masterwork Heavy Aquatic Shield 257
Upgrade Shield to +2 4000
Metamagic Rod of Extend Spell (Lesser) 3000
Wand of Cure Light Wounds 750
Belt of Mighty Constitution 4000
Ring of Protection +2 4000
Handy Haversack 1000
Ring of Sustenance 2500
Artisan's Tools, Masterwork (Clothing) 55
Artisan's Tools, Masterwork (Jewelry) 55
Artisan's Tools, Masterwork (Armor) 55
He might be able to craft the Belt of Mighty Constitution +2 but then he'd be unable to scribe scolls during the several days of crafting required to create the Belt.
Any thoughts?

Just speaking for myself but don't fret it, don't sweat it. :) Take all the time you need.
