With the sensor suite then that would be a 28 (originally would have been a 23 on the first roll I suppose).


OCC: Hey Kol on your Mechanics checks you did a +16 and +14 what did the +14 indicate? I can see your Skill in Mechanics is +16 but what is the other?

Also I noticed that you did not do your 1/2 Level thing in regards to your Trained Skills that have at least have 1 Rank in them. These Trained skills round-up while the Non-Trained Skills round-down which you did do correctly.

My Mechanics skill check is +16, the Mechanics bonus for the Banshee is +14. Not actually sure they stack, but I put it in just in case.
Regarding the Trained Skills rounding up, the example given on page 58 doesn't round up, so I didn't do that for my skills.

Not without the Force Secret Distant Poweer, and even then I think the range is limited.

He threw the switches rapidly and the actions stations alarm sounded.
"OK boys and girls, looks like its a fight! Everyone to weapon controls and engineering!" He called out.
He hit the switch and raised the shields. A blinking cursor attracted his eye and he started to cold sweat, seeing the yellow pie display showing the bow damage they were still carrying.

Ardan doesn't have any useful skills so he rushes in back to follow whatever directions are given to him as engineering tasks come up to grab various tools or batten down various hatches.


Prox and Artee had moseyed off to engineering as the others prepared for an altercation. She was quite capable as a co-pilot or a pilot for that matter but she highly doubted the others, not knowing her, would request she take such a role. Besides, she had been highered on as an engineer not a pilot.

Once in engineering she and Artee moved to the appropriate locations to best service the ship should things turn nasty, which did not seem to take all that long to occur. When Ardan appeared in engineering asking what he could do, she directed him to handle what she felt he was capable of.

Still she hoped, the pilot knew what they were doing and with her help could save the entire crew from either encarseration, destruction or worse.

The voice om the otherside makes another message It would be a shame to see Kol Dythrand blown up, and Ardan Kwinn blown to the vastness of space. What good will the Force be to Waylon Standmore when he cannot breathe or to Dreamchaster Plainstalker when there is no plain to stalk in space. the voice is full of contempt and mockery. Well fools, what is your answer?

"What?" He said, Private Phineas' words finally penetrating. "Yeah. Yeah plot a hyperjump out of here. And someone sensor probe that ship; I want to know exactly what class we're facing." He rapped out quickly.

Waylon begins meditating and seeking any familiar presences on the other ship.

I am looking to see if the boy, the Inquisitor maybe one/both of the two kidnappers might be aboard.

Dreams braces himself for wild changes of course, while just waiting for things to happen.


Prox notices that whomever was rather unaware of her presence, which is good and in her mind how it should be. It also did not escape her attention that they did not mention Phineas, Chalkou nor Master Iediorum.

This would mean that whomever was confronting them would not be able to plan for what they are not aware of, thus giving them an edge. Granted a rather minor one, when one is talking ship to ship combat but sometimes revealing that hidden edge can be the winning play.

Still Prox went about her work, preparing the ship for combat and making the shields ready for quick regeneration. Taking a bit of time to quickly instruct Ardan on what to do if she tells him to enchance a particular shield.

I will assume the others understand this but does not one usually see something in a vision versus hearing it? Especially a star ship as there is no sound in space?
