I am going to throw the force around. I am going to investigate where the VIP spectators get to go and then work to get myself in there and then use mind tricks to get in and move around. If I don't see him I take off quickly. If I spot him I will start planning a way to track him. And I am just going to hope that there are not too many force sensitive people rolling around.

I am confused. I thought you were going with the jedi?

Quen Pah |

Since the two that took him are generally associated with darkside, and probably masking donavaan i will open my feeling up to locate a pair of darkside together.
Okay!

Waylon Stanmore |

I am willing to try it alone. In character, I think I met these guys a couple of days ago. I am not sure how much time we spent traveling between the two missions. But I am not sure how likely it is that my character succeeds alone or if it makes your life harder. I could just go with the group if it makes your life harder, but my loyalties would lie more with the needs of the rebellion I think.

Kol DyThrand |

The jedi types said they couldn't find a trail to follow, and I thought for sure that was the next step, to use the surveillance system to track those guys to wherever they were hiding, or to which ship they left on. If that's not the case, I'll just wait with the others.

Thank you for clarifying, I was not sure from the initial post.

What about people who can help your Jedi training?

Master Rex, in that case let me go do something for an hour
He then goes to his room and starts his martial arts workout. after he gets tired, he comes back out.
I am more relaxed now, shall i try again.
He settles down and tries again

Using a force point and feeling for darkside feelings, or donavaan
What a wonderful roll!
Dreamchaser takes sometime to meditate and clear his mind. At first the old doubts that he has had come back to him.
Is he strong enough in the Force? Has the Force abandoned him?
His worry about Donavaan does as well. These forces seem to keep him closed from the Force and then Master Rex's words and own calmness seem to seep into him and help him to open up to the Force in a way that Dreamchaser has never known before. Focusing on his concern for his friend and wanting to help, the Living Force erupts from Dreamchaser, and his senses seem that they could reach out from one end of the galaxy to the next.
In the Force he sees the Anzat and the Falleen leading Donavaan away to a ship, it seems like a Diamond Class Cruiser
https://swse.fandom.com/wiki/Sentinel-Class_Landing_Craft
They do not seem to be in the main docking station but in a place of higher quality.
There seems to be a mixture of races on the ship, who all seem to be just as happy as Donavaan is. The Falleen takes a happy looking Donavaan into the ship with no resistance. However,as your senses are exapanded by the Force, Donavaan stops as he is about to enter the ship and in a momentary state of cohesiveness seems to look to the side and says Dream? but the stupor returns and he enters the ship. Very roughly, he is pushed by the falleen but Donavaan doesn't seem to care.
You also see a small contingent of people arrive at the ship. One is a familiar looking Duros who talks with the Anzat and they seem to be exchanging some thing, perhaps money?
The last feeling you get is a word from the Anzat, is the word Almas before your vision ends.

Kol is able to place taps where he thinks that surveillance would be most advantageous without drawing suspicion to himself.

Master Rex looks up as he feels Dreamchaser. He gets a brief smile but then turns to Kol when he gets back. Pilot, we must be off. Any Force Sensitive is sure to have felt that strong presence in the Force. If there are inquisitors they have felt it as well.
Turning to Dreamchaser You have done well. You can tell us what you saw while we are getting out of here

Ardan Kwinn |

Ardan doesn't waste any time when Master Rex speaks up. "All right everyone, you heard the man, back onto the ship." He gets on the comms to make sure that anyone who's out and about heads back posthaste.
"I got notification of another dividend payment so I'll make sure that hits the banks in an accessible way before we're out of here. Kol, ready to take us out? I'll talk to docking control."
Still seated at the comm station, Ardan calls tower control and says, "Docking control, request clearance for departure; we've completed our pleasure tour and have some pressing business."

Kol DyThrand |

"But I just set the taps..." Kol started to say. Then he stopped and shrugged.
"Ok, ok, I'll get us underway..." He said.
He went out and pulled the chocks and decoupled the utilities array, then fired up the powerplant and ran up to the pilot's chair.
He sent a text message to the entire team:
Ship is leaving now. All aboard that's coming aboard.
Then he goes through the startup checklists and contacts the tower control for departure clearances.

Ardan Kwinn |

"Sorry Kol. Majordomo has to wait. We need to rescue Donovaan, and that means we have to chase that ship."
Ardan checks his pager as Kol's text makes it go off.

Ardan Kwinn |

What ship? :)
The one that Dreamchaser saw in his vision. Unless you think that for some reason he is going to deliberately sabotage our best lead by not telling anyone... ?

I think it is better to let Dreamchaser reveal what he is going to reveal to the party. Though the request to leave is one that can be adjudicated once we find out who is going and who is staying. There seems to be some question still if Waylon is going to stay on the planet or not.

Ardan Kwinn |

Well, we've had lulls in the game before and I'm trying to keep things moving. Dreams can explain things his own way but I hope that we get enough to actually move in a cogent direction with the whole team working together!

Waylon Stanmore |

"Let us go find the boy. He was at the center of everything before. It is likely the Majordomo will be looking for him even if he is not already behind his capture." Waylon says as he moves to aid in the preparations to leave.

Dreamchaser Plainstalker |

Dreams shakes himself as his eyes come back into focus.
Well, they were masking Donavaan, so I decided to see if I could follow the two that took him.
He gets up and comments.

The last thing I felt before backing out of the trance, was Almas, does that mean anything ?

Quen Pah |

Master Rex nods in agreement. He looks at Kol. Pilot, set the coordinates for Almas You may also want to report back to organization
and inform them of what is going on.

Ardan Kwinn |

Ardan turns in his chair and says to Rex, "So what's your story, really? How come you got here just in time for all of this? What's your history with Donovaan? How did you escape the great Jedi purge?"
He gestures airily around the ship. "We're traveling to another system, so we have plenty of time."

Kol DyThrand |

"Almas. Got it." Replied Kol.
He hit the lifts and the Banshee lifted on repulsors. He throttled up slowly and she glided forward until she exited the hangar bay, then he boosted harder as the ground fell away and the sky faded from blue to black.
PILOT+Hyperdriven talent: 1d20 + 10 - 10 - 3 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 10 - 10 - 3 + 5 = 17

Finding an appropriate chart, he puts it through the Nav computer and sets course.
USE COMPUTER: 1d20 + 11 + 5 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 11 + 5 + 5 = 28
He engages, and the stars turn into lines as the Banshee jumps to hyperspace.
Time to destination: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10 days.
"All hands, five days to destination." He broadcasts through the ship. "Oops, sorry, make that ten days."

The Jedi Master makes himself comfortable though he looks and sounds tired.
My name is Jedi Master, Iediorum Rex. I was trained in the tradition of the counselors and like Donavaan, have always had a connection to the Lightside of the Force. Because of this, as a Knight, I was trained in the tradition of the jedi healers. At the height of the Clone Wars I was knighted and took Jace as my first apprentice. As you can probably guess jedi healers were necessary in the war. We were able to heal wounds quicker and wounds that were more serious than regular bacta pads and tanks could, using the Force.
Being open to the Light Side of the Force and the philosophical traditions and underpinnings of the Force, I began experimenting with hiding my presence in the Force. It would not do for dark jedi, and there were a few, to detect my presence as I went around healing people, plus it gave me something to do in between healing sessions and assignments.
After I trained Jace, who is much better at the lightsaber than I am, the Council thought it be best for him to learn a bit from the counselor tradition in order to help balance out his training, especially as I seemed to be a gifted teacher. For a while I was taken off the healing duties and tasked to find force sensitive young ones on the planets we were assigned. It was there that Jace was finally trained into knighthood. His first assignment was to act as body guards for us but he often took part in battles, especially as the number of Jedi generals began to dwindle.
Finally, in the final months of the Clone Wars, Master Yoda assigned Donavaan to me. We had much in common and Master Yoda thought it best that I help Donavaan as his Master, especially since he was going to follow my path as a healer. Donavaan was very nervous and scared and I began to teach him what I had discovered about the Force. He is a talented student if somewhat timid and his innocence was apparent. He spent many nights crying over the death and destruction that the War brought, but being from Naboo, was proud of the contributions Senator Amidala and the Supreme Chancellor were doing to help bring peace to the galaxy.
Then Order 66 was issued. We were healing clone troopers on Ryloth when I felt the disturbance with many jedi and padawans being extinguished. Just. Like. That. he snaps his fingers. I knew my padawan learner well and when the Clones came into the tents to kill us, I was able to fend them off while Donavaan panicked. Using the Force, I was able to put him in a Force Trance but could not take him as more clones were approaching. Covering him with blood, I fled in order to draw the troopers away from Donavaan. The Force trance is a powerful one that makes the person look dead, especially if a cursory examination is given as the body's system slows down to almost nothing. My plan worked, and Jace and I were able to connect on Ryloth. We tried sneaking away to find Donavaan and we were able to dodge the patrols looking for us. We made it back to the tent just as a squadron of Clones took Donavaan and carried him away, still unconscious. Jace and I have spent these years trying to find him. There were times his prescene was strong and other times it was hidden, We were able to track him to Felucia but arrived after the jail break and the Inquisitor left looking for you. We arrived just as you left Cato Neiomodia as well and finally were able to track you here.

Jace Concorkill |

The vurk turns to Arden, Hiding has been difficult these many years. We have done our best to help try to save jedi who are in hiding but the number we encounter gets less and less all the time.

Quen Pah |

Master Rex continues The Inquisitors and even Darth Vader seem to be interested in destroying the jedi healing tradition, as well as the jedi scholars and archivists. Though all jedi are dangerous, we seem to be much more so. he says with a small, sad smile And yet we endure, and do what we can

Ardan Kwinn |

"I think they're just doing in the Jedi overall. Then it should be an easy matter to wipe out any other noetic traditions that remain. Keep a lock on supernatural power for themselves."

Waylon Stanmore |

"It is good to meet you Master. I do wonder if those who took Donnavan did so because of his innate skills or because they are working for those who were experimenting on him." Waylon says.

Dreamchaser Plainstalker |

I never, got to meet the master I was supposed to have been assigned to.
My care was a temple guard whom was taking me to my soon to be master when the imperials executed order 66.
My only warning of that, was the feel of a blaster bolt hitting me in the back
He pulls out the sabre that he has been carrying for years, and ignites it and looks at the gold hue.
I feel my path is to actively contest the dark side.
He then scabbards it, in its usual spot on the back of his belt.

Ardan Kwinn |

"The ones I can think of are, they could be in search of some kind of special information that he has unrelated to his skills, or they could be using him as bait to lure us in."

Ardan Kwinn |

A Baudo-class star yacht has 1 crew and 8 passengers. If that's not enough room, and we can't actually go do the thing that the adventure wants us to do, that sounds like a problem with the adventure.

Quen Pah |

Or the adventure was written for 4 people like most d2- adventures were since 3.0 days
I think that the ship is modified" Crew: 2 (Sirona Okeefe as Pilot, RX-13 as Copilot); Passengers: 8

Quen Pah |

Is anyone going to contact the Admiral and report what is happening? I need that to make a logical place to bring the new PCs in, though I am not sure if you can send those types of messages in hyperspace?

Kol DyThrand |

Kol hesitates to contact the Admiral with an update on the mission, remembering they were kinda... unhappy with how the last mission turned out.
A day or two into the voyage, he'll summon his courage and send the message. Or have it couriered.
