About Chalkou

Background:

Chalkou was born into a peasant family in the River Kingdoms. He speaks little of his upbringing, saying that the his past no longer matters, but it is clear he did not come from means. What most of his comrades know is that a few years after work began on Fort Inevitable, a young half-orc in tattered garb arrived one day, saying how impressed he had been by Lord Commander Varden's efforts to eradicate the brigands in the area, and that he wanted to do his part. Serving first as a simple laborer, he worked his way up, eventually gaining admittance to the Order as an armiger. Since then he has developed a reputation as a hardworking and studious, if straightforward soldier, though he has had little chance to prove himself. He longs for a chance to become a great monster hunter and climb the Order's ranks.

Appearance:

Chalkou is an imposing (if rather unremarkable) half-orc. He is tall and muscular, with pale green skin and close-cropped black hair. Few see this though, as he is rarely seen outside of his black armor. He never speaks on his past before arriving at Fort Inevitable, but many of his comrades suspect that he suffered some form of persecution for his status as a half-orc, and he enjoys the anonymity of the all-encompassing Hellknight armor.
