Jace Concorkill
The vurk gives a smile. I am happy to take you on as my padawan learner to complete your training. Tell me, how has the Force made itself known to you and how fares your lightsaber combat?
[ooc[ Asking for your Force Powers, Class Talents, in other words [/ooc]
Ardan Kwinn
(Meanwhile, after Dreams' side-scene)
"All right, I'll stay here with Kol. If everything goes well this won't take very long, which sadly means we don't have time to get the front end damage fixed up right now, but we can see about doing that at our next stop. If anything strange comes up, ping us over comms. We'll do likewise if there's any trouble back at the ship," says Ardan.
GM, this split means we have a couple of people here at the ship to prevent anyone from trying to break in or steal it, while the others go fetch our recruits. If there's no trouble we can just pick them up, then blast off and continue on our pursuit of Donovaan's kidnappers.
Dreamchaser Plainstalker
Well, Master Jace, the force has not made itself to well known to me. It has strengthened my bond with my sabre, allowing me to deflect some shots, and block other strikes. I have also found that I can sense the presence of dark side users.
Quen Pah
OCC: It will be interesting as to whom we were supposed to meet, since we were given a description of someone and I had assumed that someone would be Ardan but he is not coming along. So who did we get a description of?
You guys to roleplay that out.
Private Phineas - Piston
In the Cantina
Phineas nods to the Jedi, "It's just Piston or Phineas. No Master Sir.
I know there was a rocky start, you could imagine I never thought I'd see the light of day, then blam I'm free.
Then we had our exchange and well, I thought it'd be bad for morale for me to stay. I asked the Senator to use me somehow, so I've been doing just that, using my final months maybe years, I don't know, to take my pound of flesh from them.
I'm here to assist in any way you or the rest of the crew need me sir".
He looks Dream in the eyes as he speaks and scans the rest of the crew for their reactions.
Ardan Kwinn
"I've always taken the stories of the Jedi with a grain of salt," the noble continues before Kol can reply. "But then, Onderon itself has a history of entire noble houses being wiped out in wars, so I'm not entirely unsympathetic to their plight. I just think that they have a skewed view of motivations."
Biting his lip for a moment in a mischievous fashion, he adds, "Although I'm a troublemaker too, so I can't really fault them for that."
"Any opinions?"

Well, I am glad that youre coming back. A known quantity and i have had time to think, i dont hold a grudge to you.
He looks around
We were told there would be you and two others here. Have you seen them?
Dreams goes into guarded mode while he looks for either imperials or bounty hunters.

"Thank you Sir, that means a great deal.
As to your question, I am not entirely clear. The Senator did mention multiple agents, but I suppose to ensure secrecy, he did not provide me with further details".
Prox Simmoss
Having checked the most recent arrivals against the information she had been given for her contacts, Prox easily identified them and moved over to introduce her non-descript self. "Greetings, I believe I am one of those multiple folk you mention. You must be the one called Dreamchaser, I am the mechanic Prox which I believe you were notified of, or at least I hope so."
Kol DyThrand
Kol, beating out the hull back into shape with a power prybar, replied to Ardan.
"Eh, I always thought Jedi were some kind of cult." He said with a sneer. "The Force this, The Force that..., you know, right?"
He stopped, remembering.
"But, back on that planet where that Hutt got killed? Cato Neimoidia? That guy who chased us; the Inquisitor. I felt... cold. Like that guy had something monstrous I couldn't see reaching out towards me..." He said with a shudder.
"Maybe they know stuff; more than I thought."
He turned to Ardan.
"You?"
Ardan Kwinn
"Anyway... there are... scraps, fragmentary notes, things that hint at ancient techniques and, well, for lack of a better term, sorcery. And some of it works."
The noble shrugs.
"But the Jedi seem to tie it all up with inconsistent notions of personal behavior and a really flawed understanding of how people operate. So they have noetic power and they're a bunch of tightly-wound ascetics waiting to explode at any moment. Seriously, the whole order needed to get laid in the worst way."
Ardan sips at his seemingly ever-present cocktail, then adds, "I guess the Empire considered them enough of a threat to move against them unilaterally not too long in the Clone Wars. But lots of people died in the Clone Wars. The Jedi don't have a monopoly on being victims."
"Anyway, I've yet to see any 'noetic power' or 'sorcery' that can let you fly from planet to planet, much less with a fully-stocked bar, so I'm happy with the Banshee."
He rushes to put down his cocktail and fetch another part when Kol gestures for a piece of duraplast.
Waylon Stanmore
"I am Waylon. It is a pleasure to meet you all." The man says with a smile as he glances around to see if any others are watching the group gather.

Dreams tail starts to flick in agitation, when Prox shows up.
That would be me, pleased to meet you.
He pauses looking a bit confused, but carries on as well.
We were told there would be 3-4, where are the others
Dreams starts pacing a bit his attention more out into the concourse than the party.
Prox Simmoss
"I was also not told who else you were taking on, just that I should watch for certain individuals, you being one of them. I, however, do have a Droid but I am not sure if they would have counted him as a member or not."
Perception check to notice Dreams agitation: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
OCC: Okay that was a definite she did not notice. Ghads
Private Phineas - Piston
At the Cantina
"Prox, Waylon. Pleased to meet you both.
I guess we should give a bit more time to the rest who would rendezvous?
This is not a great pace to be left behind unless you like mining operations".
Chalkou
Chalkou shifts nervously. His contact had said that the crew he was to meet would be at the cantina, but he'd been here waiting for the last few minutes and seen no one. Maybe they arrived early? he thinks to himself. With one last glance around the street, he emerges from the shadows, crosses from the alley, and ducks into the cantina. No sooner has he entered than he sees what he believes to be the group, and starts over toward them.
Approaching you is a Mandalorian, just a touch under average human height, in gold-edged black helmet and chest plate. No other armor, though he is wearing a black jumpsuit (A bit like this, though without the arm and leg plates.) By game rules, it's a blast helmet and vest. Not even proper Mandalorian iron. But you wouldn't know that last detail unless you inspected it which is...unlikely. He has a pack on his back and an old E-5 carbine slung from one shoulder. One of his...four shoulders, now that you're looking.
Quen Pah
is anyone going to fill them in on what is going? What if anything do you say about the jedi on your ship? You can role play this out if you want and we can advance on Friday afternoon or evening.
Kol will need to make the navigation check
Private Phineas - Piston
Phineas remains silent but watchful as the group returns to the ship. Well, this is much better than the last meeting. Feels good to be something bigger than just myself once more. Phineas thinks to himself as they walk.
Waylon.
"We have some additional guests aboard the ship. They are aiding us in our current goals. We can discuss them more at length once we arrive." Waylon says to the new members as they walk towards the ship.
Artee-3
The Droid replies, and falls in following the group.
Kol DyThrand
Kol, still prying away at the scrunched in bow of the Banshee, spots the rest of his crew returning and gets back to the cockpit. Raising the mike he broadcasts to the rest of the ship.
"ALL HANDS, THE REST OF THE CREW IS BACK WITH THE NEW GUYS. Hey are those droids? AND SOME DROIDS. PREPARE TO LIFT!"
Kol will wait until everyone has climbed up the ramp, then call back to Ardan.
"Hey Ardan! Is that everybody?"
Kol DyThrand
When Kol gets the word that everybody is aboard, he went out and pulled the chocks and decoupled the utilities array, then went back to the cockpit.
He retracted the ramp and started spooling up the the powerplant.
As the pitch grows louder, Kol shouted; "OK, we're out of here!"
He hit the lifts and the Banshee lifted on repulsors. He throttled up slow, then he boosted hard straight up. As the ground fell away and the sky faded from blue to black.
This time, he made sure the force shields were up and went very carefully into orbital space and through the asteroid ring.
PILOT+Hyperdriven talent: 1d20 + 10 - 10 - 3 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 10 - 10 - 3 + 5 = 21
Once safely through the asteroid ring, he starts looking for the navigational charts for a planet named "Almas".
Actually, I probably need a Know:Galactic Lore to find the right chart to lay in, which I don't have.
"Ardan! Can you help find the right chart to lay in?"

No text this time?
Prox Simmoss
Once upon the ship and no longer visible to the outside world, Prox drops her facade. Revealing that she is not what she appeared to be but in actuallity she is a not a guy but a female Umbarran. She does not seem to feel this needs explanation and thus says nothing.
Hearing the request over the intercom system, Prox along with Artee head to the bridge behind Phineas. Taking Phineas's suggestions along with those from Artee.
Artee Galactic Lore Aid: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
+2 from Phineas and +2 from Artee
Prox Galatic Lore: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17
Hey can we say she Took-10 as that would be a 25. I mean it does not make sense that she would get a result less than Artee
Kol DyThrand
Somehow, with the help of many hands, Kol finally ends up with the right charts to navigate a course to "Almas".
"OK, ok, outer rim, to mid-rim, to expansion space. Got it."
He puts it through the Nav computer and sets course.
USE COMPUTER (Hyperjump): 1d20 + 11 + 5 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 11 + 5 + 5 = 27
He engages the levers and shoves them forward, and the stars turn into lines as the Banshee jumps to hyperspace.
Time to destination: 2d6 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (1, 2) + (4) + (3) = 10 days.
"All hands, changing course to Almas. Ten days to destination." He broadcasts through the ship.
Ardan Kwinn
Wow, y'all moved fast this morning.
Ardan does a head count and then verifies readiness for liftoff to Kol.
Galactic Lore: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Ardan fumbles a bit with the starcharts until he gets some help, at which point he thanks Phineas and Prox profusely and punches up the data for Kol.
With a grin, Ardan says to Phineas, "Good to see you again, trooper. You look fit. I trust your assignments have kept you from getting too bored? We're going to be stuck on this ship for a few days in hyperspace so there'll be a lot of time to catch up on tall tales."
Ardan Kwinn
Ardan can't help but chuckle a bit at Phineas' formal delivery.
"So how are you at sabacc... ?"
Private Phineas - Piston
Phineas shrugs, "Terrible Sir. I'm so bad, I might make you worse at the game.
Me and the boys played a lot, there was so much confusion at the end of the war that we ended up doing a lot of sitting around. Most of our fighting was on Antar 4, somehow even though the war was over, the fighting didn't end.
Then suddenly we were tossed, out, de-commissioned like an out of date spaceship that Kuat Drive Yards wouldn't make any more parts for. One of the boys I saw on a mission for the Senator told me that we were tossed out cause we were some sort of error, what did he say? A bad batch. I was supposed to be specifically cloned for Scouting work, but the training was haphazard. I guess by then they knew they would be getting rid of us soon enough".
Phineas turns to Kol, "Good to see you again Sir".
He extends his hand to Prox, "Our introduction was a bit rushed, Private Phineas, but you can call be Piston if you prefer".
Prox Simmoss
Prox shakes Phineas' hand, "Nice to meet you too. I see you are already familiar with the others here, while I am not. I look forward to getting to know you all, and what is it we are tasked to do? As I highly doubt this is just a simple joy ride."
When the talk shifts to Sabbac Prox mumbles, "Corellian Spike, Coruscant Shift and Bounty Hunt all just glorified kid games no one wants to play Pazaak, Tri-Dejarik, or even just Dejarik as that is far to difficult for their minds to grasp."
She then says, "If you need someone to play Sabbac with I can do that but would prefer to play Tri-Dejarik or at least Dejarik if you are up to the challenge."
OCC: Take-10 is the way taking 10 is normally written within the guidelines it does not mean taking -10 it just means taking 10 as Take-20 means taking 20
Tri-Dejarik is 3-Dimensional (aka Spacial) 3-D Holographic Chess while Dejarik is simply 2-Dimensional (aka Planer) 3-D Holographic Chess.
If you are not familiar with Corellian Spike, Coruscant Shit or Bounty Hunt each is a level of complexity lower with Bounty Hunt literallly being a game played by kids using a Sabbac deck. Of course the previous two are gambling games.
Note: Pazaak is a Force Sensitive game in case those knowledgeable about such might have played such a game.
