We had a majority as of the 27th.
Probably missed with Prox grabbing the droid, and the length of time between posts.
Jan 17,
Waylon nods and will head down the corridor. He keeps his weapons stowed, but makes sure that he has easy access to his lightsaber if needed.
Jan 19
Phineas slings his rifle in these close corridors and draws his blaster pistol following after Waylon.
Jan 27th
Dreams pads along quietly at the back of the party, ensuring both his blaster, and sabre are at hand, but not drawn.
Now a couple of items to maybe help
The way I look at it, as soon as there is a 50% party agreement on a course of action, I think we should be considered doing that action.
This way the story gets moved along, and we don't end up with these long delays.
All of us players should at the very least try to increase the rate of posting. (Myself included.)
And lastly, I have no issues with the GM botting me as needed, if I am holding up the action or the game.
If you have to bot a person 2 times, send them a PM to see if they are still gaming.
After botting for 2 weeks, I would assume that they are gone, and look for a replacement.

Waylon Stanmore |

I would like to see the game continue. We have hit a strange wall at the moment, but I think we are all moving into the building other then Prox.

Dreamchaser Plainstalker |

I also would like to see the game continue.
As for the posting, I know I was bad for that, and I will endevour to increase my rate of posting.
However, due to my work schedule (I use my work computer for this) is a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule. During my work days, I am generally available.
At home, I have to use my tablet, and I am a lot more slack in posting from that.

Prox Simmoss |

Well Prox has been interjecting over the comms from time to time but, of course, unless one of you is supplying a video feed she is not seeing what is going on just hearing it.
That being said I post as often as I have something to post for. Currently I am awaiting the GM to let me know more explicitly what it will take to backup the droids data and/or get the droid functional. Aka what is the target number for each and how many successes do I need and how much time gets consumed per attempt. Then I can make background posts as we progress as well as having ArTee keeping tabs on the group and our immediate surroundings.
As a fellow GM I usually try to move things forward once every 2 or 3 days and if a player has not posted by then I assume they are going along with the whoever did post and bot them accordingly. However, during that period I will post reminders of who I am waiting to see a post from and information on when I will be moving things forward which means I am usually posting once a day or once every other day.

Separating the party is something that is complicating this. This module is not meant for one person to stay on the ship while the other members go out. I am having to look up DCs for things not intended or included for the module.

Prox Simmoss |

Okay well you can simply say that and I can look them up for you and present my findings so that you can focus on the primary party.
I do not want to make things more difficult for you, but this just seemed the most sensible thing for my character to do based on their personality and their skill set.
This is to say, feel free to ask for assistance if you are feeling at all overwhelmed -- this game is supposed to be fun for everyone GM included.

Dreamchaser Plainstalker |

Prox, may I suggest that you look up both the DC and the time, and let Quen Pah know.
After that, he can do any final mods that he needs and go from there.
As for the rest of us, I know we did the cardinal sin of party gaming. . . . WE SPLIT THE PARTY :)

Waylon Stanmore |

Or Prox could just decide what we found already is interesting and decide to leave the ship and join us for the rest of the adventure.

Ardan Kwinn |

I think once we get the ship landed closer to the temple it may be a good idea just to regroup and head into the temple complex as a team. Though I do still worry about those scavengers showing up and stealing parts from the ship...

Prox Simmoss |

I do not feel this party split is a real issue. The main party is moving forward and the Gm needs to advance the scene accordingly.
As for the Droid I asked if it was an extended task or not and the basic difficulty and got no reply. Further I the player have no way of knowing what is needed to get the data and/or fix the Droid as that is in the Gm's head. So that makes it virtually impossible for me to give any kind of suggestion. I need a floor to work from. Something, anything that would give me an idea of how to proceed.

Quen Pah |

Well, the party split did cause issues. The module is written assuming that everyone would follow each other and not one remain on the ship and have a way to engage, what for all intents and purposes, are 2 groups right now.

Prox Simmoss |

Note I do not mean to be offensive, but I will state I am somewhat autistic so my communications sometimes come across as off putting. If that occurs then I will apologize in advance.
So with that said -- seriously the party breaking up is a problem? Simply adjust and accomodate. Have you never had a group of PCs do something unexpected? Heck I never run a module verbatim for many reasons, one of those being the PCs do not do what the module would expect them to do. So they almost always derail that train ride. So I do not even attempt a train ride. I take the module as a concept and a guideline and run it however it progresses. While also interjecting some more living dynamics to make it seem like the adventure is not just simply standing around and waiting for the PCs to encounter it before it comes to life.
For instance I was running a detective module and instead of solving the mystery from A to Z as the module outlined the PCs ended up solving the mystery by going from Z to A. If I had stuck to the module's design the game would have died, so instead I adapted which meant adjusting the module some to accomodate for what the PCs were doing versus what the module expected them to do. It is not supposed to be a train ride it is supposed to be a dynamic adventure with a beginning and a potential end -- note I say potential because there have been times the end was different than outlined by the module just because I adjusted it to the PCs (who/what they are) and what they were deciding to do.
In the end it is simply supposed to be something fun and challenging. Not something so pre-scripted that if the PCs turn left instead of turning right the whole game grinds to halt.
If you need any help just ask, absolutely no issue there at all. Further I am sure one of us would have no problem interjecting ideas to help you make adjustments as needed. Heck I think I have been hinting at some adjustments all along just in case it had not occurred to you. A small comment here and there to perhaps subtlely suggest a minor adjustment perhaps to keep the game interesting for everyone.
All that said, I do not see Prox and Artee leaving the ship when their are potential hostiles around that would love to steal essential parts from an unattended ship or even worse. Besides we have several quite viable combat oriented individuals more than capable of carrying the torch forward. And with some information from the GM, I can keep my less-combat oriented character more than busy doing something productive in the meantime.
Lastly I hope we can get past just discussing things to actually moving the game forward. I mean I see nothing blocking the GM right now of advancing things forward based on everything all the other players have said.

Storyteller Shadow |

Ugh, finally about to dig out of catching up with moving and work. I will be posting up this weekend.

Waylon Stanmore |

Good luck on the news!

Quen Pah |

I had a biopsy last week for a recurrent growth on the side of my head that the doctor did not like the looks of. I should be hearing back in another few days.

Ardan Kwinn |

Yikes! Hope you get some gentle news.

Waylon Stanmore |

I hope you are able to relax some as that is pretty stressful news. Hopefully, it turns out to be nothing to worry about.

Waylon Stanmore |

Awesome, that is great news!

Waylon Stanmore |

I am taking a small family trip for Spring Break. We leave Sunday and return sometime on Tuesday. I am not sure how much free time I will have to post, so please feel free to bot me as needed.

Prox Simmoss |

Oh I thought you were going to bring it up Quen Pah but here is what I sent to Quen Pah in PM
Since you are having issues in RL would you like someone to help keep things moving forward? I could sub for you from time to time especially in the current situation since my characters are not with the main group.
Quen Pah response: I would ask the group what they think about this.

Waylon Stanmore |

I enjoy the game. I leave it up to Quen Pas as the GM if he would like a break and what that would mean.

Prox Simmoss |

If you mean the collaboration between you and I -- that is fairly simple we in PM discuss what/where/why things are and where you envision them heading.
And then I simply implement things as outlined by you in PM to the party when you are unavailable to do so.
Further I, being a GM myself, can easily differentiate from anything my character might know from what I as an assistant GM might know by simply rolling the die if the situation is something my character might now and/or might deduce.
Otherwise, the game is in your arena to run as you see fit.

Waylon Stanmore |

I thought I posted this last week, but good luck in the interviews.

Ardan Kwinn |

Agreed!
I just signed an offer letter for a new job, so hopefully I can give my job-hunting luck now to you!

Waylon Stanmore |

Ardan, I hope your new job turns out to be super awesome!

Waylon Stanmore |

I am around.
