I'm ok to continue. Probably should recruit one more at least.

I'm on vacation for a couple weeks. You can decide without me.

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

My posting will be spotty if you continue.

Well, that is 2 votes for opening up recruitment to fill in for one.

I imagine that there is at least other interest there, or send a PM to the others that dropped and see if they want to come back.

The other option is to fit in a DMPC which is the hardest approach, as you not only have to run the game, you also have to keep the suggestions of bias out of it in regards to the GMPC.

That from personal experience is really hard, but at least with this medium, there is no accusations of fudging of rolls.

I dont know how to open the recruitment again

M Catharese Jedi 6 (HP 55/66 Threshold 15);Fort 17, Reflex 22, Will 18; Init +10; Force 3/4; Percept +10

Neither do I. But give me a bit, and I might be able to get an answer for you.

Edit, cannot find an answer, but did you actually close out the recruitment?
If so, create a new thread, and link it to this game. Otherwise, could you not just bump the recruitment thread, and state that we are looking for 1?

Can you p9st something in the recruitment thread so I have a refer3jce if it shows up there. Just a little something.

I can do that.

Ok, will set up a thread.

We have had some thunderstorms this pm and lost power for a bit!

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

If I'm not mistaken, I need to declare a target for my dodge feat. To make it easy, I'll always target the first enemy that attacks me if it's a gang of mooks like stormtroopers. Boss enemies will get it when one of those are present.

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

Is an unmoving door panel that hard to hit?

Dex should be 0, so that's a -5 to the AC. Even being Tiny-sized, that should be an AC of around 8 or 9.

(I also forgot to add Point Blank Shot to my roll)

Male Half Elf HP 10 | AC: 15 | Saves: Str: +0; Dex: +1; Con: +2; Int: +0; Wis: +5; Cha: +4 | Initiative: +1 | Spell Slots: 0 (2) | Inspiration: [ ]

What is the total for point blank

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

Plus one to hit and damage within 30'

Male Half Elf HP 10 | AC: 15 | Saves: Str: +0; Dex: +1; Con: +2; Int: +0; Wis: +5; Cha: +4 | Initiative: +1 | Spell Slots: 0 (2) | Inspiration: [ ]

That would hit.

In the future, please be more descriptive and accurate (like feat use) in your posts. Having to go back and retcon constantly breaks up what is going on in the story.

I should be back on tomorrow. I spent most of the day in Intensive Care to be diagnoesed with an eye lid infection.

Yikes. That sounds decidedly un-fun.

It is enflamed and itchy. I have a cream to use and also need to use hot compresses. I have to hold down the lower eye lid, apply the cream and blink a few times to get the medicine to the top eye lid.

M Catharese Jedi 6 (HP 55/66 Threshold 15);Fort 17, Reflex 22, Will 18; Init +10; Force 3/4; Percept +10

Ah that sux.

I have had welders flash, and if that is anything like that, I really don't envy you it.

It really is not that bad. Apparently, blepahratis takes place when the oil glands of the eye lid get clogged. It becomes a breeding place of bacteria so the eye lids swell up.

M Catharese Jedi 6 (HP 55/66 Threshold 15);Fort 17, Reflex 22, Will 18; Init +10; Force 3/4; Percept +10

Well, its good that it is not serious, but it kind of sux that it happens.

With my luck the way it is. I guess I should start making a new character ?? :)

Don't be shy, if I fall due to bad luck on my part, it happens.

But I hope you know that I will do everything to keep him alive though. :)

Was a 15 too low to hit? These are some nimble stormtroopers!

Basic stormtrooper armor has a Reflex defense bonus of +6, so barring any other modifiers, you need a 16 to hit them!

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

Thanks! It helps to know the basic DC, which, for Rufus' +5, means that he's got a 50/50 shot of hitting.

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

I think Rufus is dead. That was a natural 20, which does double damage. That's 32 points of damage, way more than my hit point total.

So, um. I guess that's it.

I didn't think stormtroopers EVER scored a critical hit!

However, if the Damage that reduced the creature to 0 Hit Points equals or exceeds its Damage Threshold (See Damage Threshold below), the creature is killed instead (See Death below).

32 points is greater than Rufus' damage threshold of 12, so that single hit may kill him, but there is the Revivify option if someone is trained in Treat Injury:

Star Wars Saga edition rules: Treat Injury wrote:

Revivify (Trained Only, Requires Medical Kit)

As a Full-Round Action, you can revive a creature that has just died. You must reach the dead creature within 1 round of its death to revive it, and you must succeed on a DC 25 Treat Injury check. Using a Medpac grants a +2 Equipment bonus on the skill check. If the check succeeds, the creature is unconscious instead of dead. If the check fails, you are unable to revive the creature.

Don't forget to use those Force Points for this roll! In fact, can't you use a Force Point to avoid death when reduced to 0 HP and would be killed otherwise? That sounds really familiar, but I don't have my book in front of me at the moment...

Indeed you can.

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

So, I spend a Force point to not die, and then spend another to not die from Kol's first aid?

Sovereign Court

You only need to spend the one. If you spend a Force point when reduced to 0 hit points, instead of dying, you go unconscious.

Star Wars Saga edition rules wrote:

(As found here)

Being unconscious still means you can die, but the timetable is much, much longer. You roll Constitution checks to see if you die. That means there's a window of time to try to get... more competent medical assistance. ;)

(Rules for falling unconscious)

Rufus Griller wrote:

LOL! Exactly!!

Sovereign Court

Well, no, you're going Unconscious instead of dying (at a cost of 1 Force point), which means that Kol can't take the Revive action on you. His die roll becomes meaningless.

Kol could kill you if he attempted the Surgery action instead to get you up, but that requires 1 hour of work and a Surgery Kit, so he's obviously not doing that right now.

Since we're coming in as Imperial prisoners, I presume we are sans equipment? (Kind of a kick in the nuts, as starting with extra money is one of the benefits of the Noble class.)

Ouch. You got it, boss.

We’re in some kind of Imperial detention level then? Like the one on the Death Star in A New Hope?
