mine, is to leave the ship sealed. If they try to force their way in, then we either move ship, or fight them off.
I'm just wondering if we can talk to them and get them to help us. Normally the locals are big on supporting the empire.

Lemm, don't you mean that they are not big on supporting the empire.
If that is the case, I would suggest that we proceed with caution when we open the airlock, and only let 1 individual inside.
Otherwise, my thoughts still stand.

With the rolls for my stats that I ended up with, nope, not strong at all. :(

But that is the challenge of working with a character that has low stats.
I think I am only about 18 points using point buy.

Sometimes those types of characters can be really fun though cuz when they do something really fantastic it feels more like they are doing something fantastic!

keeping people headed in the right direction, can sometimes feel like herding cats.
But even with the books, I still never played dawn of defiance, so this is all new to me as well.
It had me curious, and I actually figured out what my points score was if I bought the abilities.
Before racial adjustments it was 11. :(
After racial adjustments, it is 13 :)

That is perfectly within your right as the gm to make the story as it seems fit.

Yeah, your still one up on me, I've only played pathfinder. So not at all familiar with the different mechanics.
For instance, I'm just assuming the game even allows 'taking 10.'

the Saga system is very 3.5 D and D but has its own uniquness, which PF2e kinda adopts. I think that if 4E would have gone to something like this the history of D and D would have been much different.

LEM saw something but the creature was too fast to see what exactly it was using.
Ok, posting has slowed back down to a crawl.
I'm at a little bit of a loss here. Normally I play a frontliner or sneak/skill character whose willing to drag the party along behind him. But I don't know the Starwars game rules at all, so thought it would be best to play a support character.
I thought it would be interesting to play a mechanic and a droid to boot. So I don't see Lemm as a "leader" or someone to make "decisions" I imagine him as a mechanic droid used to taking orders. Once he reaches third level he will take "Independent Droid" and then may start making more choices.
Until then we need somebody to call the shots.
To help with this, can we have some sort of majority or quorum or standard rule where one person recommends something and if a second agrees, then that's what we do and we move along?

Lemm, I tend to use that quorum as well, as it is fair to pretty much everyone.
So if one person suggests an action, and if another says its good. If there are no dissenting votes within 24 hours of that, we go with the suggested action.
This should help work the stalls out.

Finally after all the covid garbage got to have the 4 year old grandaughter up from Columbus for the weekend, didn't get anything done Sunday. Will get lemm leveled today as well.

On the plus side, I did find out that I have been teaching World History and the French Revolution all wrong. I found out, from a student who showed up MAYBE 15 times all year, that the reason that the French Revolution took place, was because Marie Antoinette wanted to spend all of Frances money and they would not let her. So she led a coup.
