It's meant to be an array of security bots for the home. I felt the weapons I had put on it made it too much a military walking tank, So I have tweaked them to more civilian, and limited as it has only 16 power charges.

Well those Dark Traders were suitably nasty. Terex could easily have died in the first round there. XD But they're like liches, right? They're not really dead if you don't destroy whatever's holding their soul? So now these two will be back with knowledge we're here at some point?

Ideed, they are the enemy, the big bad. And they will be back. But being involved in attempting to destroy hundreds of worlds and such, there's no certainty they'll be back for you in particular. Also, they didn't acquire that much knowledge of the group in the 2-3 rounds it took take them down.

And the Organization has considerable power also, so you have a match.

And yeah, quick channel is a really nasty ability for a high level anticleric.

Speaking of the Organization, I'm guessing they'd want to be appraised that we've run into Dark Traders here? Though it's not that big of a surprise, given the ultimate purpose for which we're here.

Both things true. But keep in mind, everyone, y'all aren't out of melee rounds yet (though probably out of combat). There are a lot of dangerous things going on but you can handle them.

13 skill points a level seems like a lot until you start actually spending them and realize just how many skills you want. :D

Found out that Robots are boring as hell to play, and felt after that last fight to over the top. It's immune to, to much.

Whereas Arlo having a feeling Andriod daughter, hehe fun and games to be had.

I'm her mecha is to much. So making her Mecha 'Spider'into an NPC GM and moved it into its own Alt PC sheet.

So Arlo now has a wife who's expecting twins, and a grown android daughter. I'm wondering how this experience will change Arlo, possibly for the better. Maybe acquire a new archetype? Or multiclass into another paladin, not sure how to best represent this change. I'd like to hear some ideas the other players may have for this. A possible mellowing-out of Arlo Brighthammer. Maybe working toward a new prestige class, perhaps?

Perhaps, he has been getting looked after by a Leprechaun. Or some other lucky creature. You could take Leadership; make him/her your Cohort?

Perhaps, Terex did a favor during a job that allowed a lucky creature to want to be his guardian?

Tuned Gift down, so she matches power level with other PCs, Gone is the big cannon on a spider tank, now she as a Hoverbike with a small laser cutter [range 10'] to get past things, and it holds her only ranged weapon. She has to use her Psi-Fu to hurt things now.

I think she feels her mother's layout was a little overkill for a nice city like this.

Funnily enough, feats and items of the sort Terex would very like exist in Starfinder, but not Pathfinder. :D

I'm kind of playing Terex as possibly dangerously interested in the Orb that needs a better name, because it seems the kind of thing that would really entrance his curiosity.


I have to say that I am loving everything that you are all coming up with.

Naturally none of the results will be coming easily but things should be fun.


Arlo may not have the detect evil class ability of standard paladins but things simply "ping" to him. Call this a campaign trait if you want but since it's happened several times before, I should make it explicit.

Syranix is sort of "magically enhanced medieval", it's a mix of 17th, 18th & 19th forms but with much done by magic rather than even simple tech. Lighting is by candle or by alchemical lantern.

The city has cafes and nightclubs in abundance and few cabarets. There are few poor and the very wealthy are not very visible, from what you can see. Most families are merchants, fine craftspeople, wizards and other "middle class" occupations. Most wizards and sorcerers are "commercial magic user", a kind of archetype that enhances the production of good rather than using damage-doing spells (things like telekinetic servants to unload ships, enhance food flavor, etc).

The one place where the wealthy, powerful and up-and-coming are reputed to go is the Great Gambling Hall. It is also described as a source of revenue for the city which hosts mostly foreigners.

So you may be able to find the powerful of the city ... but it will require a bit of looking and/or a strategy. They seem to be a bit hidden below the surface.

No. You bring up a valid point. Barlo would tell the group of the potentiality of one of their cover's blown, but it's remote: due to Barlo's facial implants and hair color.
The dwarf would also bring up his thoughts of the Universal Museum being a good candidate for the phylactery's position.
