What mimics outside? My reading was that these mimics are coming from deeper inside the cave.

yeah, with Terex: I'm just reading three Xs at the top of the map, inside the cave.


Terex is correct, the Oomsatta woman came from inside the cave. She's looking the partly collapsed passage where Arlo and Terex are covered in dust and dirt.

Lyra and Rollo are on the other side of dust-cloud that the collapse kicked-up. Marella is furthest in, hiding in an alcove.

The cave entranced is guarded by Paritosh, Minna, a couple Oomsatta hunters and the Earth Speaker, so there's basically little chance of anything coming that way. And the area is sealed with a forbiddance to keep the mimics from escaping.

Yeah, I should have said which bend the creature came from behind, and I didn't, so my bad, but everything's good now and I'll post results tonight.

Yes, plus Rollo's efforts also contained it.

Also, I assume you mean head back to the meeting with dragons. You'll being going to the forge for the exodus etc.

You know there are some gargantuan bird-like-things flying above the fake-forge-location you've given the enemy. This location is a spire five miles from the spire hiding the real forge. You know the enemy has built an army of undead and has a full array roughly mid-twentieth century level tech - no planes but it seems like planes could be created easily enough. You know the enemy, the necromaner is probably a dragon in disguise controlling the nation of The Free Land. He's generally in the main government building there - guarder like a high official in a modern state.

"Magic? Firearms? Catapults?"
-- Panzer Tanks. Though how many will actually make it is uncertain.

Yeah, yesterday was busy for me. To be clear, Marella fell in combat with the Necromancer? Terex would definitely respond to that happening.


Marella fell in combat with the Necromancer - it revealed as a lich-dragon. Most likely the necromancer was also destroyed in combat but liches are known to you and to the dragons.

Just to be clarify things.

Lady Lyra is going to be retiring as an adventurer. Both Swordwarden and GM panic may introduce new characters time permitting but no guarantees and not necessarily. So I am going to be recruiting one new player.

Recruitment takes a few days, so we will keep playing in the mean time. Arlo, Rollo and Terex will be going to the new world unless you happen to find a bunch to do Sigil (which would be OK).

You may or may not wish to decide on a different leader. Plus let me know if you have any preferences for a new character. I'd say more or less "skill-monkey/glass cannon".

Just remember, it's just a story of some event you and another character experienced. "you remember that time you got drunk and insulted that wench?", "You remember that time that Chi-rin attacked and we all got out bows to help even though you were twelve"... etc.

No, I intended to make it still head-slot so you could use. The slots are difficult to juggle.

What she has found out has just fixed a problem for me,
I had a feat slot that I just could not work out what to do with.
But it struck me that she is here as a security unit.
So if I used it to take Leadership [7th level] limited to Constructs.
She could have small control basic security bots that peppered around any camp they set up.
