I’m really enjoying Benedics side quest, great development for the character! Thank you for sharing the story.

I didn't want to leave anyone out who wanted to come, so I mentioned that Benedic would wait to go until after we spoke to Irabeth, so we could all go together.

Greta doesn't want to go any more, that's why she left on her own to talk to Irabeth and go check out the buying/selling situation.

I always find it interesting how different people interpret that spell. Thank Benedic, now to figure out how Amelia would respond.

@GM, how does one assign credit to a PFS Character? I've got 6? I've just never experienced doing it through an AP

Just post the PFS number for the character you'd like to apply it to, I'll report it to Paizo and post chronicle sheets. AP books grant 3xp each, so your character would advance an entire level.

I need to double-check about level requirements and such which I probably won't get to tonight, but I expect your character would need to be level 6 or lower.

Okay, and I assume they can't be in the middle of an adventure currently? I may make a new character for the xp then.

Not at the time I report it, but I can report it whenever I want. Just let me know when they're no longer occupied.

It's being treated as a home game, rather than with PFS society rules, so most of the restrictions don't apply.

I'll apply it to my Paladin then, seems thematically appropriate!

I swear by the Typio Form Recovery extension for Chrome. It saves what you type as you type it in your browser, and if something happens you can just click the little icon and see everything you've ever typed in that particular form field. I can't tell you how many times it has gotten me past that annoying timeout error that plagues this site. I just hit back, refresh the page, then click the Typio icon to bring back what I had typed and submitted before.

Normally, I write the post out in Notepad first before putting it in here, but this time I deviated from my routine. Never again.

That's how I do it too. Notepad window, copy and paste, correct for the bad spellings since I'm not any good as a typist. Preview and fix any stupid formatting mistakes, like starting with an ooc tag and ending with an b tag.

I used to do it like that all the time too, now I just type it in the forum and copy it before I try to submit it. And, if something goes wrong I just die a little inside and disappear from the forums for a day before I come back and try again.

Seems like whenever I forget to Copy my posts before submitting them is when it gets eaten.

Happens often...lol.

Posting this in all my games, so I apologize if you've seen it already.

I'm going through a difficult period right now with my mental health, and it's making it hard for me to keep up with my games on here. I am not planning to quit or anything, but I just need a day or two to kind of unplug from stuff so I can get myself back to where I can be a more active contributor. In the meantime, I ask for your patience, and I will be back soon.

I broke both of my ankles this morning. We are visiting family on vacation. We were preparing to leave for home but that has since been delayed for some time now.

Apologize to the table. I am finding it increasingly more difficult to keep current with my games. Having only my phone to post with is really a drag. I am in process of re-procurring my computer once my wife returns from home.
This accident has really disrupted my daily life and nothing is simple or easy these days.
I say all this just to ask for your patience during this time. I am NOT dropping any of my games. I enjoy every one of them. I enjoy all my fellow players and DMs.

It looks like Junior has Craft Magic Arms and Armor. Does that mean that he can/will enchant armor for us? If so, Benedic will enchant his plate armor to +2 (2,150 gp) and his light shield to +1 (650 gp). Also, if he can afford it and it's possible, he'd like to add an Iomedan reliquary to his shield (+250 gp, needs an NPC with the Craft Reliquary Arms and Shields feat).

Also, it looks like Benedic owes Junior 202 gp from when they bought plate armor. Let me know when/if I should update Benedic's inventory. :)

I totally forgot what the plan was. How many days pass before we met with the queen? I want to say more than 2 but less than 5.

If we bump Benedic to the front of the line and we have 5 days I can make your armor and shield. I can't do the reliquary thing.

Just over a week past your victory at the Gray Garrison, Irabeth summons the party to her conference room, where she waits with a grim face and a letter.

Going to interpret that as 8 days.

Irabeth grins back at the lot of you, and nods. "Well then, go about the rest of your day. The Queen's representative should here within a few days."

I love that you care, Greta! We'll see what happens. If the queen grants Benedic's request, you might get the opportunity to work on her. (Though I doubt her basically getting conscripted will improve things between them, no matter how much Benedic protests that he was thinking only of the good of the Crusade. Still, better to have her nearby than off in another city, right?)

Hmm.... "Safe" and preaching in the city, or charging into the mouth of the beast and preaching to the soldiers. If she wanted to face death and worse it might help!
