But no, we don't know where Jhavul is. Nor have we found the princess, Garavel and the other prisoners... Not to mention we're currently operating on the hope that his corpse opens the doors to this place.

I mean, with things laid out as you have, Khedron couldn't have wailed on 'that guy', but could hit Davashuum (and is going to this round...).

But I suspect you'd rather just get on with this. Also, as you didn't roll a miss chance for Hazreem, I assume that Davashuum is visible again, having started attacking (ie he doesn't have improved invisibility).

With the saves passed, I don't think the combat state will be very much affected. People would need to squeeze and lose movement, but at the end of the day things will be more or less same.

You only have the main door that you 'knocked' open and then the four prison cell doors. There are no more rooms.

1) Tears to Wine is druid 1
2) Can you do bulk barkskin? Everybody wants it...
I would suggest getting a rod of lesser extend (3000 gp), or even two. Also, Wild armor is a good thing if you're going to be elemental shaping all the time...

We don't have a source of morale bonuses as a group. Can you do bulk Heroism? Again, Rod(s) of Lesser Extend are a good thing...

1) sounds good to me. Hazreem will swap that spell out for Goodberry.
2) I don't see a Mass Barkskin spell on the druid spell list. How about a wand of Barkskin?
3) The rod purchase sounds like a good idea, as does the Wild armor. Hazreem will enquire as to the availability of said armor and rod (he currently wears +2 Leather Armor).

@hazreem, no there is no mass or communal barkskin spell. Thing is, at a high caster level (12), there is nothing better in the game for natural armor boosting (+5 NA to AC!), especially as it last 10 min per level (20 with extend). So it's a pretty good thing to spend 2nd level slots on (especially with the rod).

Don't waste money after jumping to conclusions. I'm still pondering what support you will get, but I can assure you that a marid princess' first idea for sure isn't marching into a battle on the front line.

I'm not sure if the details were presented in this game, but Rayhan has a 12'x8' pool in his house on the second floor.

A12 The walls, ceiling, and floor of this room are decorated with white porcelain tiles, with other ornate adornments that make the place seem to be more of a royal bath chamber than anything else. A large, two-foot-deep pool in the room’s center and several braziers and bins for heating polished oval rocks complete the image.

This isn't what I was expecting, when I proposed getting help from the pactmasters. I was figuring a 10% discount in Katapesh or something. But then we wandered off on to how to fight the Firebleeder, and I wenat and brought up the Marids, and we were on to Shazathared... She's a bard, and if I was going to add a character to the current party, it'd be a bard - fill knowledge holes, skills, add bardic buffing to all the people who fight. I'd figured she'd make a fine NPC for Foxy to play with (like Rayhan was)... So I wasn't expecting her to show up with 200000gp and a couple of wishes. Maybe we could hire an NPC bard to come along? Or maybe some spellcasting services - call and bind an outsider?

Perhaps he can use that ability and then augment it with a Wish to call a more powerful (ie. with class levels) outsider? I do like the idea of having a bard tag along btw. Thoughts?

I love the idea of Hazreem using his ability and a wish to find a genie bard to help the party and give Foxy some fancy toy to play around.

If the issue is about having appropriate stats, which I totally understand, I can contribute a Bard archer I played at Pathfinder Society up to level 11: Pandora Soulkeeper

If you are interested I can give you the profile code so you just have to swap the racial traits and equipment.

Otherwise, we need to keep thinking about wishes :)

If we cannot come up with any other innovative wish, we could ask for a Constitution and Wisdom improvement for the whole team.

Or we can spend one wish on Heshan to improve Charisma and another for Omari/Hazreem/Ohrmizd to improve Wisdom.

(It looks like we need to drop the bard idea)

You can run with a bard too. Once you agree on something we can talk details. Even the thing about wishing Jhavhul to your fighting arena. You'd still have to do the dungeon anyway, if you don't want to ditch Princess Alma.

Maybe then we can wish to free Princess Alma by teleporting her to us then. She might help with the Pactmasters and we would ensure she is fine. Then we can move on to face Jhavul.

5 pearls of power (2nd) for (Hazreem casting) all around (5 castings each - Omari, Ohrmizd, Heshan, Hazreem, Khedron)? - 20000 gp

So No bard NPC? I suppose that is OK. Freeing Alma is a great idea BTW.

PS: I did find the stats for an NPC Bard that should fit in well: Shazathared. Of course whether she would wish to travel with us is unclear but we could still use the stats for a similar NPC.

As for the Pearl suggestion, Hazreem wouldn't mind a 3rd level Pearl here as the Quench spell is so darned useful against Fire types.

I like the idea of saving the second Wish here, you never know when someone will get a Destruction spell thrown at them (like what happened in Hazreem's previous PbP game).

About saving wishes - to cash it in you would have to return to the city, as none of them is going to come along.

Let's spend the wishes on rescuing the Princess and having the bard going with us.

If the bard is a no no, then, we just cash it as suggest it. If we ever need it, we can try to teleport back here, and if even that is not available, well... it is just a fallback option.
