Because Hazreem can turn to Small and he with Khedron count as a single Medium creature, I think we have the count limit solved.

We only have to decide then on the destination. If Foxy says Heshan is familiar enough with other spot in Katapesh that teleporting there is not giving us large odds of a miss, I am happy to visit the capital first.

Making someone smaller than medium doesn't help with the count. But lets not waste time on travel stuff. Heshan suddenly feels like he can bring one more creature.

@Foxy -Nope, had missed it entirely - got called away and it had been composing for over an hour...

Also, 1) unless the Jann have something special, Khedron and Ohrmizd knew they were there (scent special quality - Bloodhound spell for Ohrmizd), as does Heshan (see invisible from his rod)... Not sure if we want to revise.

2)Please put them on the map; if I don't know where they are, it's hard to avoid AoO's.

Let's keep it. They rolled rather meh, so not much is lost on your side. Just out of curiosity: If Heshan had activated the see invisibility he'd see the creatures in the room. Ohrmizd would have getten a 'it stinks of janni'. What does that mean in regards to the actions?

Heshan would get to act in the surprise round, because he'd be aware of the enemies.

What about Ohrmizd? He'd know more certain that enemies are nearby (within 30') than everyone else who expects there to be enemies inside the enemy fortress, but does that count as being aware of them? I'd say no. Is there a rule for that?

All others would still be out of luck, as I don't think telling there is someone doesn't count as being aware of them in relation to combat.

Looking at the rules that can naturally translate to a Perception vs Stealth check, being them invisible they have a +20 to the roll. If character makes the DC, then it is aware something is going on. If also beating the initiative, probably know something is on, but cannot yet attack it. There is time for a spell, a warn, some tactical positioning perhaps.

At least that is how I usually GM it :)
