Well, visually, if the app icon for Edge is a swirly blue and green thing then it's Edge Chromium. If it's just a plain blue 'e', then it's the old incarnation of Edge.
Also if you're on Edge Chromium, the version details can be found in [...] > Settings > Help and Feedback > About Microsoft Edge. It will say it's based on Chromium here.
Where do I find this? The web store doesn't seem to be working for me and I'd like to double check that I have this.
If you're still on the old Edge and you'd like to upgrade, the new one can be downloaded from Microsoft here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/. You can have both Edges installed on the same computer.Paizo Campaign Tools is in the Chrome web store here. It's nice to have, but not strictly needed for anything, so if you can't be bothered, you don't have to.

If you don't see an Add to Chrome button, you probably need to allow new Edge to take extensions from the Chrome store. Click on the "..." menu in the top right corner of your new Edge browser, then from there select Extensions.
Your navigation bar at the top of the browser should now say "edge://extensions/". In the bottom left corner of the main browser window you should see a slider bar labelled "Allow extensions from other stores". Click on that slider so it is enabled (shows up as a blue slider with white dot to the right).
Now navigate to Paizo Campaign Tools in the Chrome web store, and you should hopefully see the Add to Chrome button on the right.

If you do nothing else, do a minimal botting spoiler. That way, if you get sick or busy and cannot post, your GM can bot you.

You put all of that stuff in the big "About" text box underneath all the single-row text boxes.
So for example if you wanted 2 spoilers, one for My Secret Stuff and one for Other Secret Stuff, inside that "About" text box you'd do two spoilers like this (replace the curly brackets with square brackets):
{Spoiler=My Secret Stuff}
.. and then put some stuff in here...
{/Spoiler}
{Spoiler=Other Secret Stuff}
.. and then put some other stuff in here...
{/Spoiler}
If you ever forget what's what, just click on the Show button next to How to format your text (down below where you create a new post) and you'll see all the standard bbcode markup you can use for various text effects.

In PF2, sorcerers are Arcane, Occult, Primal or Divine depending on their bloodline, unlike wizards.

            Hey all, think of the ABOUT section of your profile as a big, blank piece of paper. On that big, blank piece of paper, you can type in your character sheet.
When I am GMing, I usually don't care what format my players use so long as all the information that I need to see is there.
So... if you want to see exactly how Pip is formatted, check out this Google Doc.
Now, I am saying that you don't have to be that complicated. But if you want to compose a character sheet, make a google doc and compose it there. If you try to compose it on Paizo, chances are good that you will lose all your text when the forums misbehave.
You can choose to keep your formatting simpler.
Just write up section headers in ALL CAPS and then put important information under each header. If you want help editing your character as a google doc -- let me know. I could probably help a little.
Then when you are done, you can copy your text for your character sheet into your ABOUT box for your character profile.
Does this help?
Hmm

            easiest thing is just start building your character and put spoiler sections around each area as you go.
[] these brackets are in front [/] and these behind with inside the first set [spoiler=feats] or whatever you need...[spoiler=skills]
etc.
or cut and paste the PFS sheet in and fill out gradually.

            It seems it's easiest to copy & paste the stuff on Pip's google doc into our About section, then replace everything with our info.
If you want to, there's nothing stopping you from doing that, but there is also no need to have your sheet look exactly the way anyone else has it. As long as some basic, necessary information is there, that's all that matters, and you can always add to it and tweak as time goes by.
I guess what I'm saying is: don't obsess about it. It will be ok.
How do you get the stars with dotted lines and the solid horizontal lines that split the sections?
The star is a Unicode character (U+2605 BLACK STAR). The Unicode standard for character encoding encompasses a massive set of characters including symbols as well as the more 'conventional' alphabetic characters and other display components of human languages that people use to communicate around the world.
The solid horizontal line can be achieved by repeatedly using the underscore '_' (on standard US keyboards, this is the shifted character that shares a key with dash '-' on the top row of the keyboard where the numbers are). The Google doc recognizes this common usage of underscores to draw a "line" and displays it as a single unbroken line, but it is actually multiple underscores.
EDIT: In case some of you are wondering who the hell I am and why I'm in here answering technical support questions, GM Numbat asked me to join this group to help out. I know Numbat from PbP and we actually have met in real life. Before the Virus, I GMed PFS2 and SFS in-person for the same local area that Numbat used to; though of course these days I only run online, via Roll20 and Discord.

Hero Lab Online (paid) has an option that allows you to export your character directly into a BBCode*-formatted statblock that you can simply cut and paste directly into your character's About box.
Pathbuilder 2E (free, with paid upgrade for some minor add-on features) does not offer that option at the current time - to my knowledge, it only exports to PDF. You can export your statblock to PDF, then select + copy the statblock text out of the PDF, and format it manually by adding some minor bits of BBCode around it to pretty it up a bit. This would still save you some effort of typing.
*BBCode (short for Bulletin Board code) is the name of the markup language used for formatting posts here in the Paizo forums (and also in many, many other forums).

            Everyone develops their own style for their character sheet. The most important thing is to have the information readily available for both you and your GM.
As a GM, there are many things that I don't mind being under spoilers but I become frustrated when I have to hunt and peck through many of them and can not easily find what I am looking for. It also slows me down.
Spoilers are very valuable to make a character sheet more readable and less cluttered but should be clearly labelled and not overused. (My opinion.)
You are likely to change how you format things as you gain game experience and discover what works best for you.
I suggest you start by making sure all your basic information is present in a readable form. Include basic botting instructions but don't go overboard (mine tend to be more complete and detailed than really needed). Add to them as you play and realise what you are posting the most and as you observe what would be useful or is used to bot others.
Ideally, none of us needs botting by others but life happens. I use my botting instructions all the time when I post. Copy and paste makes life simple. In part, because I use them regularly, I like to have my botting instructions toward the top of my character profile for easy access. This is reinforced when I need to bot someone as a GM, not having to scroll down to find them is a minor blessing.

            Yeah, some people like to have things under a different spoiler for each header. I admit that drives me crazy as a GM. I like to be able to see the whole statblock in one go. I think that some spoilers are useful, though, and all I care about is that the information is clear and useful.
I really want to see a botting spoiler.
One more thing... the easiest way to get special characters is to copy them. So if you like my stars and dashes, just copy them into your own doc. I sometimes do searches for things like "musical note text symbol" in google and then copy what I need into my post.
