I allowed Urah two consecutive actions since I skipped his move, and since one of them was supposed to occur before he ran, I allowed him a back shot (as a kind of readied action) as he ran. It appealed to my sense of irony.
It could not have happed as he described because of how the actions would have played out so I took some liberty. Urah DESERVED that back shot. It was only fitting :)

@Tarak
I forget when your meditation time is. It would be the same time every day and you would get your spells back after meditating regardless of rest. for example, if it is sunrise, then at sunrise every day you meditate and regain spells.
@Urah
Any spells you cast remain expended. You were able to rest long enough so that you started the day at full capacity, but you are now down whatever you cast, which wasn't much if any.
Do you recharge the wands at all? I figure that is an end of day exercise, not a begging of day exercise so they should be short charged at the moment. Whoever is carrying them should keep track.

Gnasher has his own wand, he charges it in the morning when he casts his endure element spell, I think he's only used two charges, I will add it to his name line.
Edit: earlier Gnasher offered the slave girl armor, did she definitely turn him down?

My apologies for any delays Good luck with that. I have found contractors to be the most flakey of all professionals. Rarely do they do what they say they will do when they say they will do it. I've been waiting months for our sewer pump to be fixed. After the first attempt, which took weeks, they seem loath to come and clean up their mess. Not something you want delays on.

Yeah, we have had a pretty solid main guy coordinating some of the stuff but everyone is overbooked these days it seems. I’m fairly handy and have done a bunch myself by just didn’t have it in me to do the whole floor. I’ve been there with peel and stick vinyl, laminate plank and hard wood and my knees and back just don’t have it anymore.
They say they’ll have the stuff in (which is it’s own challenge these days) and time for install at the end of this month, but we’ll see.
Even with install and deconstruction covered, I’ve got do some plumbing in the bathroom and get everything else moved to replace the flooring (of course my wife is taking the chance to replace some unaffected carpet she’s been wanting to change, so we added a second little project in there anyway) and do the trim work when they have the install done.
all for a little PVC elbow joint that shattered for no reason anyone can determine.
Ooooh. I do like the peel and stick stuff. We just did a small room with that and it was delightfully easy. Well, except cutting out the irregular parts. I feel your pain though. I'm over 60 and just getting up off the floor after crawling around was, in itself, a challenge.

To get surprise you might try another bluff roll, which could backfire. Or a diplomacy roll to confine them you were on their side. Or a stealth roll to sneak up the stairs quietly at first and then rush around the corner. Or one of your allies could cause a distraction. And there might be a creative way of surprising them I have not thought of and if you were able to come up with something imaginative, I would reward it. A straight forward roar and attack would certainly serve to get you into init, but with no surprise roll.

No, they are on alert. They bought Urah's act and believe him to be a runaway slave at this point, but you seem a little off to them. Not enough to attack on sight, but enough to be cautious. You can tell by their actions that though they are not expecting trouble, they are ready for it.

Is the wall providing cover?
I screwed up his AC, the 16 was when he was wearing the chain shirt. With his regular armor it's 19 or 23 when attacked by gnolls.
The wall will provide partial cover, though it works both ways, so you would have had a +2 to your AC and they to theirs. That does mean no AoO.
That is by the rules, though it seems silly when the half of you showing is bigger than most wholes.
