Knowledge (local) cloud giants 13
Knowledge (local), dragon hunters 20I might have done that later; sorry, trying to be helpful but also at work. :)
Vashta knows little of Cloud Giants, only stories and tall tales with as much embellishment as truth.
Of the Dragon Hunters, you know a little more. A pair of married Cloud Giants, Strebor and Jors Vinderheim are regionally famous for hunting troublesome chromatic dragons, often taking bounties from the smallfolk. Though hated by evil wyrms, they are known to honor their bargains but otherwise tend to be impartial. They have a retinue of powerful flying beasts that they've trained, and prefer to fire enormous longbows from the back of their roc mounts.
K Nature
It looks like Ingrahild might be working some overtime...
Trevil has heard of the Mindspin Greyfeather Roc, a larger and more ferocious cousin of the "common" roc. Though they are merely gargantuan his of prey, Greyfeathers are notoriously ill tempered and nearly impossible to train even from an egg.
Unencumbered, they have a flight speed of 80 ft. You expect that they could easily carry a cloud giant without slowing.

Oh, I forgot. For the Sczarni encounter, everyone gets 10,240 XP individually. You still get XP for resolving the encounter, even if the resolution wasn't in your favor.
This is in addition to the XP that you gained for the previous encounter. Trevil should have the same XP as everyone else in the party.

Made me double check the name there...

I hadn't noticed until you brought it up, actually.
It is Umlo.

Well damn. Sticking with Ulmo. The name feels right and I don’t want to make a new profile. :p

Ok, Lord of the Waters you are.

Trevil Rocksfall |

Ok, I think we have agreed on plan cave ambush. Assuming we can find an appropriate cave (or at least one Trevil can modify - it needs to be large enough for Naximarra, and have at least one bend so they can't just sit outside the mouth and shoot at us...), we let them come to us (or have Naximarra lead them to us). If they besiege the cave rather than come fight, we use magic to find their camp, and sneak out and hit them while they sleep...

Trevil Rocksfall |

Let's have quick review of what Knowledge skills we have as a party. Do we have all the Knowledges covered? (Also, do we have a character sheet for Ingrahild somewhere?)
Trevil has limited (4 ranks, +8) Dungeoneering and Nature. (as he's fresh of the press, in theory, he could specialize in either, putting 8 tanks into it, at the cost of the other skill. If I'm the only one with K Nature, I really should...).

Artofregicide |

I add 23 (25 with heroism) to arcana, dungeoneering, and planes.

Argea Godhand |

I'm barely useful in Religion [+7], and that's it. Not many skill ranks and most of them went elsewhere.

Argea Godhand |

I think that Wyvern's Maw makes sense. Does anyone have fire resistance?
I've got resist energy and resist energy communal.

Ulmo Nargrymkin |

I have...+2 in all knowledges. Useful, but not for complicated or esoteric knowledge.
“That is a demon. What kind? Uh...the spiky kind. Don’t use fire against it.”

Uriah Müller |

Hello folks!
There's a background section in the alias but if you want a TLDR version:
Uriah deserted from the Molthune army and fled to Nirmathas, where he got married. He and his wife traveled here and there helping people until she finally got pregnant and they came to Trunau to settle. Uriah had been taking care of his family until recent events forced him to enter the stage.

"Dizzy" |

How old is Uriah?

"Dizzy" |

If he and his family settled here, they likely know my parents then. While they live outside of town (there was a bit of an issue with some of the local Varisians when they first moved here that prompted them to do so).
You know I'm going to call you "Mr. Muller" going forward, right? ;D

...
Now on the ground, the dragon's serpentine neck twists back to face you, keeping at you with her luminous golden eyes.
"We've made good time. What now?"
...
Well, that's a good question. I think we need to put a little more detail on our plan...
Also, I think we haven't finalized an important Q. How are the giants finding Naximarra? A) Magic? Something like Find the path? b) Flying air patrol to spot her and then chasing her down? c) Following rumors to her lair and staking it out?
I think it has to be A. B is impractical because of dragon flight speeds, and the limited detection range of sight. C, well "Naximarra doesn't have a lair really, she's been on the run."...
So they're using something find the path-ish...
Proposed Plan
1) Scout the Wyvern's Maw for surprises (ie get a look at the tactical map), and eliminate them if neccesary (party)
1B) Naximarra stays out here and sets up the entrance as if she's been using the Maw as a temporary lair - you know a scratching spot for her claws, a rubbing boulder with some shed scales, find an eat dinner leaving some scraps... that kind of thing.
2) Prep the maw - Trevil can move earth/stone to set up hide spots for the party in the cave. He will also work with Ingrahild and her bardic k Engineering, and dwarven stonecunning to set up a collapsing roof trap/lanslide at the entrance intended to seal the cave and stop the giants from escaping. Everybody brings what they can to the table and waits...
3) Hole up inside the maw and wait... Someone with a strong survival skill comes in last, covering the parties (but not Naximarra's) tracks, so they don't know we are here. Hopefully we don't have to wait long.
4) Finally, if they don't co-operate (ie. they start waiting for Naxi to come out rather than come in). We sneak out using magic (Dimension Door for example) and ambush them...If we do have to this, the Rocs are primary targets. Otherwise the giants will just fly away.

Uriah Müller |

Let's do this, then, and see what can we come up with.

Trevil Rocksfall |

We don't have Ingra here, but otherwise I think that's a good summation. First step is getting a look at the tactical map.
Both you and Ulmo have indicated that AoR can drop Ingra if he wants, but last word from AoR is that she's coming along...

Ingrahild is staying behind in Trunau, I at least intended to include this in a post but I can't find it now...
It's possible the internet ate my post.

We don't know, and neither does she.

It's not bad. I can get behind it =)

Ulmo Nargrymkin |

Well, hope it is fun!

Uriah Müller |

Just waiting, at least me. It will all depend on what Dizzy says and how the Orc leader reacts, I guess.

"Dizzy" |

I think we're waiting on the warlord to show up.

Guys, I'll go on mini holidays from Friday to Sunday. I'll have limited access and mostly through mobile phone, so I won't be able to edit aliases and my posting will probably suffer. Feel free to make me go first and eat all traps.

Uriah Müller |

I'm here and back from my holidays.
I want to go back on holidays and I hate the whole world.

Trevil Rocksfall |

Checking in. It's been a week, so wanted to make sure we're still going. I'm a little concerned with the averted TPK and changes in players, we may have lost our steam?
AoR was on holiday until the 5th, so we did have to wait a bit...
