Sorry to hear about the problems, Dizzy. That's super frustrating. If you are interested in playing and have the alt account, can you just copy Dizzy's character sheet and make a very similarly named alias for it?

FYI, I'll be out of town, and probably not posting Tuesday-Saturday (I will have my cellphone, so I might check occasionally, but I find it far too cumbersome to do a full post on mobile).

I'll leave it up to Vrog.

Thanks for the head's up. I hope to have a post up soon, but no rush.

Put something up, just so we know your not dead...

Male Human Wizard 15th

So I'm not dead. Life has been a little rough lately, but I've made it though. Hopefully follow up post to follow soon...

He's not dead, he's just pining for the fjords...

Yeah, I'm afraid I'm going to withdraw (in the event the PBP starts up again). I think I'm finding as several of my games have been in hiatus that I've overcommitted in general, so I'm going to take the opportunity to pull back and try to reduce my game count a bit.

Thanks for the game. I enjoyed it, and am sorry it got cut short. Stay safe everyone!

Hi folks.

I'm still not dead. But disappearing for a huge chunk of time with minimal communication is killer for a PbP game.

So my question is who still here and still interested in playing? Again, apologies for disappearing. I've had some health issues of late, and sadly that's made posting essentially impossible.

Sorry to see you go Vashta, but it's understandable. Best of luck in the future.

I'm willing to play.

Now of course, I have played the original S1 Tomb of Horrors... And I look upon this playtest as the same kind of challenge - get your gameface on, do whatever you have to do to survive... You are advised not to get too attached to your character. Because the GM has something with YOUR name on it.

Looks like folks may have abandoned this for dead. Understandable. It's been enjoyable while it lasted, though the party severely diverted from the plot. So I can't really say I actually playtested anything.

I'll wait a week or so, and if there's no news then I'll turn off the lights and call it a day.

I've gotten pretty tied up in other games as well, so I won't be jumping back into this either. Thanks for the opportunity, and enjoy your future gaming.

Thanks, Arto. Sorry it didn't work out the way you wanted. I will admit that while I was somewhat frustrated, I actually also liked that it was far more lethal than I'm used to. I think it would have been interesting to see how we adapted and if we played a lot more tactically.

But it's 2020, so we can't have anything nice.

I'm clocking out of the thread now, but stay safe everyone!

Haven’t been checking in on this thread...but wanted to say thank you for running this. The campaign was significantly harder than anything else I’ve experienced on these boards. The fights were desperate, but winnable. It felt less like destined heroes and more like desperate survivors. And the writing was good as well.

I wish you all the best in these apocalyptic times.

Looks like it it's over then. Thanks to all for playing, and best of luck in future endeavors!

Yep. AoR, if you want do try another playtest of this, message me. I'd be happy to start again.

I'm running another playtest on Mythweavers, and honestly the Paizo forums just lack the functionality and dependability that MW has. So if I run it again, it won't be here.

Also, I'll probably just start folks enroute to Ashpeak, because it's so easy for the PCs to get totally distracted and get sidetracked. I mean, the sidetrack was really fun, but pretty irrelevant to the playtest itself.

Regardless, I'll keep you in mind. I'm a bit sad that you never got to see Ashpeak itself, but that's really on me (well, my health anyway).
