For sure. That makes total sense, and it looks like your sheet is already setup to handle who has what. :)

I'm a little on the early side, but I just wanted to give everyone a headsup.
We recently sold our house and bought a new one, and our moving date is August 28th. So needless to say that next week is going to be busy, and there will be a time where I don't have internet access.
I'll keep posting for as long as I can, but if I seem to go silent, then please be sure to bot me as needed.
Zylah Nightbloom |
Thanks. :)
She may come back to haunt you, if you do. *creep*

I considered cutting the map into quadrants and dispersing it among 4 different slides. In the end, I decided that I'm going to trust that everyone is able to keep ooc knowledge separate.\
Since it is such a large map, I've increased the size quite a bit. As of now, Eldako is the only token on that map. Maybe you can spot him.

Thanks. :)

1. Good luck and congratulations!
2. I will do my HEALER best to keep the GM from killing your character.3. I SOOOOO want to have a character I've killed in a game come back to haunt the game. I will need to be more aggressive in killing PCs.

Just live vicariously through me. I mean. Nothing.

Going forward, unless otherwise noted, all of the rooms have stone walls covered in cracked and chipping white paint. Ceilings are approximately 10 feet high. The light level is dim.
Just to make sure I understand this... The dim light is WITHOUT my light spell?

Hey folks.
I'm all moved and (mostly) recovered, so I should be able to start posting regularly again.
I'll try to get something up either tonight or early tomorrow.
GM Chapel |
Hi everyone, I wanted to apologize for my absence Friday and over the weekend. I had to rush out of the office Friday because my wife was extremely ill and couldn’t care for our 3 month old by herself (she’s freelancing from home at the moment). I ended up spending all weekend taking care of both of them. I have updates coming.
Zylah Nightbloom |
Agreed. No issues where family is concerned. Make sure to take care of your own, first. :)
Zylah Nightbloom |
I'm here. Got a little busy during the afternoon, but I'm usually hovering around during the day, at the least.
Zylah wouldn't really care what people call her, as long as it's not demeaning in any way.
Eldako |
I’ll be posting tonight I’m still here I got sucked in to magic arena the last few days until my wife talked to me about it .

I will be travelling to Vermont again this weekend for my wife's grandmother. We may be leaving earlier than anticipated, so I may not get to post before we go. I may have better access there than usual, so maybe I can post later. If needed, please bot Kaya. Thank you.
GM Omelas |
Hello all. I'm not part of this campaign, but Chapel asked me to say he won't be able to post for the next few days due to health issues. Hopefully he will come back soon, but in the meantime: hang in there =)
Zylah Nightbloom |
Thanks for the heads up, Omelas. Rotten time of year for that kind of thing. :(
Zylah Nightbloom |
I was just thinking along the same lines. :)
GM Omelas |
Just as quick update (of sorts): I haven't heard anything from Chapel since his message last week ago, so I think it's safe to assume he's still recovering. I'll let you know right away if I get any news.
Zylah Nightbloom |
I don't want to be the Negative Nancy, but this doesn't appear to be picking up again. :(
Eldako |
Do you want to make this inactive? and then he can message if this is still going to happen.
Diaz Ex Machina |
Sorry for the long silence guys, but I think it's time for me to retire from this game. I too have some health issues going on and can't dedicate myself to this kind of hobby. I hope Chapel is fine, and also wish you luck with your adventures. Hopefully we will find ourselves together once again when everyone feels really better.
Zylah Nightbloom |
I totally get the feeling. I hate when a good game just gets off the ground only to fall flat. I'm all for hanging around to see what happens, or even look for a replacement GM, if it comes to that.
Hope all goes well for you Diaz. Don't be a stranger. :)
Zylah Nightbloom |
Seeing as it has been well over a month of waiting, what do we want to do about this game? It hasn't gotten very far, yet, unfortunately.
Kayalenta Noack |
I'm not sure what can be done as the GM would be the one to make it inactive (to my knowledge). I do hate to say I suspect it is more than the GM is able to handle right now. Which is a shame, I like the way this was playing out.
For now I am okay with riding it out. I don't think there is a limit to how many games you can be associated with. But I am also ok if others feel they need to move away from it. I hope to see you guys on other games at some point. Good luck and great stories to everyone.
And, last to GM Chapel, I hope all is well. When you are finally able to return to the forums, feel free to look me (us?) up. Perhaps we can resume this or a different game together. Regardless, I thank you for being will to run while you could.
GM Chapel |
I just wanted to elaborate on what exactly happened to me in Sept/Oct.
I was in a fairly bad car wreck which left me with 2 cracked ribs, and a bunch of bruises. I reached out to GM Omelas and asked that GM let my games know that I would be back in a bit. But, as it turns out, the doctor at the ER missed the fact that I had a broken tibia as well. Other than some bruising, you couldn’t tell by looking at my leg that anything had happened. So, after a little over week of telling my wife that my left leg was not feeling any better and was starting to feel worse we finally got a doctor to x-ray my leg. Well, they had to rebreak my leg since it had already started to heal some.
Fast forward to the end of December and I’m feeling better. But then, my 6 & ½ month old son starts breathing erratically and his O2 levels are way low at night when he sleeps. (We have him wear a pulse oximeter.) Turns out, he had such a strong cold that his congestion was keeping him from breathing properly and he had to hospitalized for a few days.
Needless to say, I was straight up not having a good time. Other than sit around and watch TV, I really had no desire to do much of anything.
Now, however, bruises are healed, ribs are healed, and my leg is still broken. But pretty close to being healed ( I hope.)
Hopefully you all will see this. If not, I can always message you all individually. No biggies. Both tables of players are great and I'd love to see these games through.
Oh, and also, helloski.
Zylah Nightbloom |
Hey Chapel.
I'm glad to hear that you are on the mend, and that your little one is also doing better. :)
I'm very much willing to keep going with Zylah and the others, though I would think that we would be better off if we could get our player count up to 4.
Kayalenta Noack |
I too am glad to hear things are at least better, if not exactly perfect again. Also, I know how it goes with injuries and stuff, so I can easily see how it would hit you. And I don't have children, so I can only imagine how that must be. Glad to see you back.
As for restarting things here, that I cannot 100% say about right at the moment. I ask that I be able to take the weekend at least and get back to you on it. I have a CON this weekend and so I will be out of touch for that, and work has been rough lately. I am hoping that things will calm down next week and I can let you know then.
Either way, I am glad to hear back from you Chapel, and if I cannot continue I understand others keeping it going. I will be sad, but I 100% understand.
Zylah Nightbloom |
I'm okay with that. Would probably be easier on you, if nothing else. :)
