My wife and kids played it at a convention recently at high tier. From what they mentioned, it gets to be a grind at times.
Remember that chamber with the 3 spiders? At 10-11 there are 12 of them. They are exactly the same as the 7-8 spiders, just 4 times as many. If you don't have a lot of AoE in the party it can get tedious.

I took a look at the stat blocks for the fights this morning after we finished -oof I think high tier would have been pretty rough for us. Might have been ok with the 4 player adjustment, but there are some scary fights there.

I think y'all could have done high tier with the 4-player adjustment but a couple of encounters might've been challenging...as Lurgh mentioned, you'd have faced 8 spiders instead of 3...you'd have faced 2 duppies along with the coral golem, probably no problem...an extra denizen and two Leng hounds...a bogeyman and 2 or 3 Ghoul commanders (instead of stalkers) along with a more souped up Sevenfinger...
The Bodaks were an optional encounter...at high tier I would've probably skipped it; it added a nightmare dragon and an extra bodak, I believe...it and the final fight looked like the most challenging at high tier...but the 8 spiders could've caused trouble as they might've prevented you from reaching the docks before Sevenfingers escaped...
Had a long day at work so I'll post the conclusion in a little while and I'll have your Chronicles ready tomorrow...
