Perhaps instead of an actual kitten, use the costs to bind a Silvanshee agathion that looks like one to her? You could even pair it with a Raktavarna rakshasa, so you've got like a little angel cat an a little evil snake!

That's a thought, but I'd be more interested in a permanent (as long as I took good care of it) friend to chat with as opposed to bound creatures that don't like me and who get a save every day to be allowed to escape....

Maybe you can work something out with the GM? Traveling around with a demi-god, trying to convince them to do things is a fair use of an low ranking outsiders time.

The more reading I'm doing, and the more I tweak Priella's relationship list, the more interested I am becoming in Maelstrom and the Proteans than I am in other outsiders.

She's definitely already becoming a different character than she was when I started. I'm not sure when her paranoia came about but now it's a strong part of her personality, and now she's contemplating swapping out a spell for Plane Shift in order to take excursions to the Maelstrom herself to parley with the Imentesh. This is especially true now that I've discovered the Old Gods actually live on the material plane (I didn't realize "the dark tapestry" was part of the material plane until today)

If anything I'd be more apt to work with the GM to add some of the proteans to my list for Planar Ally. Not only aren't they on there, there is only one CN critter on the whole list and it's from the plane of water. There are absolutely none from any plane that Priella might associate herself with philosophically.

EDIT: Not sure why I keep going back over spells known and such. I should probably wait until I find out if I'm even selected and THEN see what changes I might want to make.

Plane shift is an important spell to have in this campaign.

If you have Leadership, a follower of the appropriate Effective Level will obviously follow you around for free.

I have all the crunch done but having trouble finding the time to get it online. should have it up either today or tomorrow.

Crunch for Calxakti is mostly done, this is the placeholder alias I'll be using for him.

I still have about 17 languages to pick and gear to do, but I'll do that if I'm selected.

I also need to decide between VMC and bonus feats

I've already swapped the spell. If I end up in the campaign Priella will able to bring along up to 8 people :D

I'm working on Veldrin, but this weekend is Easter and while we're not super religious we do celebrate.

I have a few questions, but they're all mechanics based, so I'm not too worried about them for now.

Is a good thing we have till at least next weekend(the 26th or so, right) before we gotta be done. Lots of work to be done, lol.

Decided to just brute force it today, finally have it all done. Though I have two questions, so please bear with me.

For mythic ability precision how does it work with two weapon fighting, I assumed it didn't just wanna make sure though.

For the divine source do non spellcasters still get spells?

I can answer the divine source question. You get them as SLA's.

If it helps, most of the servants of me and the rest of the tentacle'd pantheon are Aberrations. A lot of them teeeeechnically aren't planar creatures to begin with. I can give you a list of those if it would help.

@Saint Uliaza needs to select two subdomains and put them in her statblock.

@Monkeygod - Yeah, you still have a week to finish. And honestly, if the 27th comes around and some of you are not finished, I will either extend the deadline to let you guys finish or to choose regardless. The point isn't really to make you guys do everything perfectly correct, but to see how you plan to represent your god's abilities.

@Teras - Precision and TWF interact - you get the boost on the offhand attacks too.

Also, yes, no matter who you are you get your Divine Source SLAs. They're separate from normal spellcasting.

Hey guys, we had a couple of dropouts, so I'm willing to see a couple more submissions. If anyone is lurking and wants to post in, feel free.

I oddly had a character that was slowly becoming a Demi-god in a game over a few year ago, shame that game died.
I could use that old one as a base.

Would need to know if you'd allow Dreamscarred press monster classes so I could re-use a lot of that old character.
And I do recall that I volunteered to take a Point-buy hit (reduced from 20 to 10) for using the monster class and the template used...mainly due to templates slowly getting their LA reduced to 0 as written in the bestiary.

I say no to DSP monster classes, but yes to monster characters. What kind of character is it?

She was demi-deity by birth to a degree, but also had to work to rank herself up to the rank.

Link to original character alias.
Now I do know me and the original GM agreed to edits of the base monster race to align with it's celestial heritage under the New Racial Abilities and SLAs spoilers.

Now I will admit I do have a new twist on this character, kinda based off the split persona the original one was gonna show under certain conditions, though would need to know if I could use an updated version of GFK.

Saint Ulliaza:
1. What is your character? Where are they from? Ulliaza was born to drow nobility in life, as a member of House Vonnarc. Her easy life amongst the elite of drow society would never come to be, as her parents were taken out as political enemies incredibly quickly. She was spirited away from her potential murder by one of her parents servants, but they were both captured by duergar a little later.

Thus, she spent her childhood growing up amongst the slaves of the duergar. She was sold to a wealthy merchant for her ‘rarity’ and grew up a trophy. Her fellow slaves provided bits of kindness when they could to the young child, and she kept her head down while her magic grew in her blood. She grew quick witted, intelligent, and rebellious. A soft word here, a swipe of a knife there, and a single thrust was enough to end the merchants life and start her revolt.

She rallied the other escaped slaves and together, they tore their way out and into the Darklands proper. It was only the beginning of their fight, as they didn't stop at freeing themselves. Slave caravans of all factions were attacked, raids were made into towns and cities, they sparked revolts wherever their trail left. At the head of all of it, was Ulliaza, throwing the weight of her wits behind the cause. It all came to a head when she through her mind against the First Daughter of House Vonnarc to give her followers time to escape during a raid gone wrong. Shefstalled to the bitter end, eventually being overwhelmed by a horde of summoned demons. Her followers mourned her death, but that was not the end for her…

2. What is your character's portfolio? Revolution, Subterfuge, and Good-Aligned Drow. Ulliaza is in a lot of ways similar to Milani, if Milani had the natural deviousness and ruthlessness of a drow. One way that she differs from Millani is her willingness to forgive those who seek her blessing. She views revolution as something that can happen on more than just a societal level, as something that can happen on a personal level as well.

Domains: Chaos (Riot), Good (Redemption), Liberation (Revolution), Trickery (Deception)

3. What does your character look like? Her appearance is similar to what she looked like in life, a silver haired drow woman with a mischievous smile, clothed and cloaked in dark greys and blues. The only change noted in her appearance since her ascension are the dark blue roses woven into her hair. A sign that she has visited a location are a few blue petals along a doorway, or an entire rose tucked away somewhere private if you have gained her favor.

She is also known to take many, many disguises as the situation suits her. It has been observed though that they're not magical disguises, rather entirely mundane in origin. An old ragged shawl and some makeup, or a wig, bulky furs, green paint, and fake teeth are some of her favorites.

4. How did your character become a demigod? In life, she was a force of substantial change in the Darklands. Her and her groups existence provided hope to untold numbers of slaves stuck in the flightless depths. Such a person managed to gather extraplanar attention, from both those below, and above. It was her final act of martyrdom that pushed it over the edge for one goddess. When her soul made it to the Boneyard, she found herself getting scooped up by an azata and carried to Elysium, directly into Milani's Garden.

It was there that The Everbloom was waiting. The two talked for a long time, the goddess showing her what became of her followers and her name in the time since her death. Even though she had never done anything particularly holy in life, or had been religious at all, they had raised her up as a saint. They still fought and survived in the Darklands, though they were getting slowly whittled down. Milani guessed that they would likely not last another year without aid. Thus, she got to the point of why she had Ulliaza brought to her domain. She offered to grant her a portion of her divine power, to raise her to the level of a true saint, and bring hope to the one place on Golarion where it was needed the most. She accepted, and ascended.

5. Where does your character live? Ulliaza has two places she can truly call home. The first place is a small series of caverns located underneath Milani's Garden that she was allowed to set up residence in. The other is the home of her cult on Golarion, the Secret Sanctuary, a well hidden base in Nar Voth that contains multiple ways down into Sekamina, and up into the nation of Andoran.

The Petal Trail:
1. Where in the verse is your cult centered? Her cult is almost entirely centered in the Darklands of Golarion, mostly in the Nar Voth and Sekamina regions. They're almost never too far from the major slave empires that exist below, whether it be the Derro, Duergar, or Drow. They have a smaller presence in Orv, in the intellect devourer city of Ilvarandin, where they raid the slave ships of the Denizens of Leng. Even smaller is their presence on the surface, where their follower are only those they have aided in escaping, or members who help those who have escaped in finding a new life.

2. What sorts of people worship you? Ulliaza is worshipped almost entirely by former slaves, or individuals who have seen the wrong in slavery and seek its abolishment. Her motto of “no one is free, until everyone free” brings in many differing types, including a surprising number of disenfranchised duergar and drow. If they come seeking a revolution in their life and way of thinking, then she accepts all with open arms.

3. If your character has one, please describe your character's herald. Ulliaza doesn't have a herald as much a second in command, a duergar tyrant pyrokineticist named Gorna Firehammer. A red haired and fiery eyed young duergar with a temper to match, she was freed during an early raid against the derro. She has proven incredibly reliable and zealous, with enough sense to be able to keep things together when Ulliaza goes on her longer expeditions. Ulliaza is also the only person allowed to call Gorna by a nickname, Gorny. In return, Gorna calls her Ulli.

Relationships and Diety Block:
Relationships
- Amongst the divine, Ulliaza’s mentor is Milani, as well as being her closest ally, friend, and confidant. As the one who raised her into godhood, she feels like she owes the Everbloom, even if is a debt that she never intends to collect.
- Thanks to the close connection Milani shares with Iomedae, she also tries to keep a close connection with the Inheritor. She is quite proud of the fact that she is referred to by the warrior goddess as ‘her sister’s star pupil’.
- Cayden Cailean is also considered a true ally and friend, stopping by his realm during her occasional break to ‘get some of the best booze in the universe for the folk back home’. It is noted that she has gotten Thais to stop by the Secret Sancutary at least a couple times to join in on large celebrations the cult occasionally holds. She brings the beer.
- Her relationship with Desna, Shelyn, and Calistria is friendly, though she rarely meets the much busier and important deities. She respects Desna’s sense of freedom, Shelyn’s ability to completely revolutionize a society's culture, and Calistria’s skill in deception.
- She practices a policy of avoidance towards Sarenrae, Torag, and the majority of the elven pantheon for differing reasons. Her feelings on Sarenrae are conflicted, as while she respects her endorsement of redemption, she can’t respect her allowing her followers to practice slavery. She avoids Torag for the simple fact she’s fairly sure he might try to kill her on sight, as his doctrine is very much ‘no mercy’. The elven pantheon would like nothing more than to forget the fact that some of their worshippers fell, and the feeling is mutual.
- While she has her dislikes and hatred of several evil deities, circumstance leads her to not interacting with them very often. She most commonly is in opposition to various demon lords, Droskar, and Hastur, though only in the sense that her cult is regularly in conflict with their worshipers.

(This’ll be the section for other submissions. If anyone has any issues with these, feel free to tell me and I’ll change it.)

- She has no real opinion on Maika, seeing as she rarely ever visits Axis or Hyraeatan. She enjoys the benefits his cult brings though.
- She sees Priella as a somewhat hard to predict ally, as while she personally tries to bring revolution for good, she can’t always trust her to do what’s ultimately best. Someone to work alongside, but keep a close eye on.
- She doesn't really have knowledge about Rthignyt. Her few run ins with his cult have been few and far between, and she can't really make an opinion on them.
- Her relationship with Ammon, while mostly business related, is friendly enough, even if that feeling is mostly one sided. Ammon is one of the few people she feels comfortable actually asking for information from, much preferring to get information herself most of the time.
- She views Teras and Avram in a good light, having encountered the both of them while out and about doing her work in the world. She doesn’t actively work with either of them beyond occasionally slipping them information they may find useful. She has absolutely no idea where the rumour of romance came from, and completely denies anything of the sort.
- She has been in Nestellbam's part of the underground before, almost entirely by accident. What she found while skulking around his city intrigued her, and disturbed her, in the same way that visiting a hoarders house would. She's considered asking if she can shift refugees more used to the underground into his city, but has been hesitant to attract the dragon gods attention.
- She has only heard things about the Blood Emperor, and they have not left a good impression on her. She can't help but wonder who would is more cunning out of the two of them, and has considered seeking the vampire out merely to see if he's willing to a game of wits. Though, literally going to Hell isn't a pleasant idea.
- She has a fairly decent opinion of Caladrel, personally enjoying a good bit of exploration. She really doesn't interact with the demigod though, as her interests keep her fairly far away from ‘his corner of the cavern’.
- She's only heard of Ranam in passing. Her thoughts can be summarized with “I wonder if he would give Gorny some tips…”
- From what little she's heard of Calxakti, she can't help but feel sorry for the man. She doubt she'll ever meet him though, as her business has no interest in Arcadia.
- Her relationship with Alithea is complicated, at least in her eyes. She stands opposed in a lot of ways to the rigid study and pursuit of the truth just through her very nature. Yet, she respects where the woman is coming from and her pursuit to end the misuse of magix.
- If there is one demigod she truly hates, it is Veldrin. She considers him everything wrong with her people, boiled down into one person. A heartless being using the ultimate form of slavery in her eyes to further his own pursuits. She takes great joy in causing as much trouble for him and his cult as humanly possible.
- She likes art, and singing, so she likes The Artist. If she could get a hold of him, she'd invite him to all of the parties held in the Secret Sanctuary.

Shroud of Petals; This dark blue cloak looks plain, but finely made at first glance. If one were to get up close and inspect it, they would see that it was actually made of dozens of individual petals, all woven together with silver thread. Crafted from flowers of Milani's Garden by the goddess herself, she gifted it to the newly minted saint to help her “stay out of sight”. It does not detect as a magical item, and prevents the detection of all other magical items the wearer has on their person, unless identify or a similar effect is used on said item. It also blocks detect thoughts, discern lies, and any attempt to magically discern her alignment.

Fixed as best I know how.

Well, a half-celestial succubus is a reasonable allowance under our character creation rules (found here).

You'd get 4 class levels on top of that, since succubus is CR 7 and half-celestial is +3 CR.

A character who is both a demon and a celestial is a character who I would really want to explore conflicting desires with. As a demon, she's required to be evil. As a celestial, she's required to be good. That causes a lot of conflict I don't see represented in her backstory at the moment.

I believe you can represent the same thing that the ghost-faced killer does with a vigilante, so I'd prefer you do that. Plus, it's a 3.5 class.

She has Bright Golden Blue eyes and Very Long Red silver Hair.

Golden-blue eyes. You mean green?

Red silver hair. You mean metallic pink?

What deity is her real father? I gather Kurgess is her adoptive father, but who is her real father?

I'm not sure it's realistic to have Pharasma just taking a stroll around the Material Plane, considering she's responsible for the healthy flow of souls, and people don't ever stop dying. Perhaps someone else could have found her?

@Brolof - Thanks! Looks perfect.

I'm still working on the build. Shouldn't be long!

Alright, I think Calxakti is finished up. There may be issues I haven't noticed, but nothing major.

Out of town this weekend, which makes formatting Alithea's block hard. Should have her sheet together within a few days.

Weird situation: I decided that Priella wanted darkvision, but the only item that grants it as continuous effect has opaque lenses and she wouldn't be able to show off her pretty always-changing eyes. Due to that I bought her a scroll of darkvision and a scroll of permanency (including the reagant price)

By the rules, she needs to use UMD for them both since they aren't oracle spells.
Darkvision = Lvl2 (CL3) needs UMD of 23 to emulate class feature
Permanency = Lvl5 (CL7) needs UMD of 27 to emulate class feature

Priella has a UMD of +18, so either is doable, and a failed roll doesn't use up the scroll. Worst case scenario is a natural 1 which means she can't try again for 24 hours.

Therefore they are both pretty much automatic, the only variables are how long it takes, and that if I were to get a nat 1 on the Permanency (or fail 1080 times in a row) she would have to buy a 2nd Darkvision, as the spell would expire before the 24 hours were up.

To make this easy I'd like to do it during character creation. If allowed, the rolls are here:

Rolls:

UMD vs DC23: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (9) + 18 = 27 - successful Darkvision (3 hr duration)
UMD vs DC27: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (8) + 18 = 26 - failed Permanency (1 round wasted)
UMD vs DC27: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (8) + 18 = 26 - failed Permanency (2 rounds now wasted)
UMD vs DC27: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20 - failed Permanency (3 rounds now wasted)
UMD vs DC27: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30 - successful Permanency.

If you'd prefer I wait until gameplay (if selected) to do rolls that's cool too.

Also - are we using occult skill unlocks?

@Calxakti - Looks pretty good. I like the blend of different abilities, but just be aware that your psychic spells are Intelligence-based, and DC 15 save-or-sucks might not be super useful at this level.

The staff of shattered prophesy needs magic special abilities. With ABP in effect you cannot purchase enhancement bonuses.

He must replace one of his domains with the Chaos domain, as you need to take alignment-based domains first. You have Madness, Void, and Prophesy listed.

Calxakti can use detect thoughts as an SLA once/day, from his psychic VMC.

@Priella - Buying a scroll is more expensive than is necessary to do that. You just need to pay for spellcasting services. You also don't need to roll - getting permanencied spells is totally okay.

Also, yes - if you qualify for them and you want to use them, you may use occult skill unlocks.

@Ammon - A high Intelligence does not modify an arcanist's ability to prepare additional spells, only their spells per day. As such, Ammon must prepare two fewer spells of each level. Obviously this won't come up until the game, but it's an important distinction.

When was Ammon a "child of the streets"?

I would have preferred that you ask to use the shadowbound corruption, since it's not typically allowed for PC character generation. I must ask: How do you plan to use or develop this in-game? What are your thoughts for how it impacts Ammon?

@Teras, Captain of the Red Legion - How is Teras getting finesse with his trident and with his dwarven war shield?

Why does he wield a dwarven war shield? Was he raised or trained by dwarves? Was it a significant gift from a dwarf? Also, Teras is missing 'Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Dwarven War Shield'.

How much does Teras care about money nowadays?

Teras only gets 'challenge' once per day from VMC cavalier.

@Rthignynt - Is he a guardian or a heirophant? He has guardian's call listed but he also is listed as a heirophant. I suspect he is a heirophant, but in that case you need to pick one of the divine surge abilities.

In what way is Rthignynt a Scholar of the Great Beyond?

@Maika - Be aware that I will be nerfing Sacred Geometry. You may only use 5 total dice with it, no matter how many ranks in K. Engineering you have. This is because when you get to enough dice, the chances that you will succeed quickly advance to 100% for all levels of spells, which is not acceptable for a feat that gives two free metamagics for the price of one.

When was Maika bullied, as per the reactionary trait? Does she have a second trait?

@Kage Kurai - Where in his backstory is it mentioned that Kage is a devotee of the Green?

You cannot choose a drawback to gain an additional trait (especially not one as non-consequential as Umbral Unmasking), so you must choose one of your traits to give up.

Climb, Geography, History, Nobility, and Swim do not exist in my campaign. They are consolidated into different skills.

I cannot easily tell what Path Abilities you have chosen. I see... Divine Source, Path Dabbling (Enduring Armor), Vanishing Move, Fleet Charge, and Shadow Stealth, but they're not really collected in an easily readable way, and its missing one. Actually, its missing two, since I see Extra Path Ability.

Also, I cannot tell what Mythic feats you have chosen.

Divinity,

Veldrin has the undead master wizard archetype, which allows him to select the corpse companion from the undead lord archetype.

Is there anyway such a companion could get some sort of boost, so as to continue to be useful at our high powered level?

Could I buy a graft arm ? If not, would it be okay if Veldrin's right arm is skeletal, without any mechanical benefits?

I have other questions, but can't seem to remember them atm, lol

Ladies and gentlemen, I have a problem. IRL I'm a 3rd shift hotel auditor. Two replacement auditors washed out leaving me the only one. I have worked 13 nites in a row. All the while working on Avram, but my brains has stopped working. I have him created, but not statted. I'm not sure if I can power through and continue. Please advise.

Good catch on both of those. They were holdovers from when I was first working on Rth. Divine Surge is Inspired Spell. SotGB was swapped for Honest.

I made sure that his skill ranks were adjusted properly. A plant does not lie.

@Ammon - A high Intelligence does not modify an arcanist's ability to prepare additional spells, only their spells per day. As such, Ammon must prepare two fewer spells of each level. Obviously this won't come up until the game, but it's an important distinction.

His prepared spells are correct. He has

9|5|5|5|6|5|4|3 prepared spells

Arcanist 14 can prepare the following number of spells:
9|5|5|4|3|2|1

The Veiled illusionist adds one spell known per class level. For arcanists, adding a spell known allows them to prepare an additional spell. His veiled illusionist spells are therefore automatically prepared, he cannot change them around. This adds invisibility sphere, phantasmal killer, greater invisibility, phantasmal web, shadow evocation, greater shadow enchantment, permanent image, greater shadow conjuration and project image to his prepared spell list which accounts for the difference.

When was Ammon a "child of the streets"?

Amnon was a child of the streets when he was born. He started out as an indigant child in a small fishing village on what would become the Tadon coast. This was where he met Aroden and the refugees of Azlant following Earthfall. Aroden saw something in the boy and took him into his service, changing the young urchins life forever.

Quote:
I would have preferred that you ask to use the shadowbound corruption, since it's not typically allowed for PC character generation. I must ask: How do you plan to use or develop this in-game? What are your thoughts for how it impacts Ammon?

The character creation rules did say that all Paizo material was available. The shadowbound corruption is the thing which creates a degree of conflict, friction and suspicion between himself and the other divine servants of Iomedae. It is also the thing that perhaps makes Iomedae's enemies think that he can be bought, bribed or otherwise suborned from her service. He however remains committed to her, after all she is the one who saved him from perpetual torment and imprisonment at the hands of a Kyton Demagogue.

He does not believe that the stain on his soul affects him. He does not believe that it will grow or spread and he allows it to remain as a way of luulling his enemies into a false sense of security. He may well be horribly mistaken about this.

I have no predetermmined idea of which way this will go. It all depends on how wll he resists the development of the corrupting influence. If he fails the saves and the stain grows he is likely to live in denial of the fact.

*Checks* The second trait is actually called Aura. The effect is "You shed light as a torch, illuminating a 10 ft. radius with normal light and increasing light by one step (to a maximum of normal) 10 ft. beyond that. This light is a supernatural ability, and you may turn this light on or off as a standard action. In addition, you gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (Religion) checks, and Knowledge (Religion) is a class skill for you."

I might change Sacred Geometry. Or just leave it as-is. *Rubs chin* I know my support-heavy build doesn't have the same offensive potential as most other gestalts, so I figured that was a good supplement to help not drag the party down too much. And it doesn't work with her ability to sell magic.

As far as Reactionary goes, I'd like to think it has something to do with how she lost all of her limbs and doesn't seem terribly keen on regenerating herself to get them back... which may also have been why she ended up gaining mythic power when she did. So not, like, mean name-calling when she was a kid. More like injured to near-death, perhaps even sparking a determination to want to provide power to those who ask for it if she didn't get that herself.

I guess I just figured a closeness to nature was implied from his close association with one of the Eldest, and their generally strong ties to nature. Since I’m dropping the drawback I may just cut that trait out entirely.

I’ll go back and fix the skills.

You’re missing Enhanced Ability Dexterity and Enhanced Ability Intelligence. Not surprising, though; I don’t think it lists them anywhere on the sheet.

I believe it’s Extra Path Ability, Mythic Weapon Finesse, and Mythic Two-Weapon Defense. All have [M] next to them in the sheet. I’m on my phone at work right now, I’ll check HeroLab when I get home to be sure, then reformat a bit so that path abilities and mythic feats are clearer. I also need to ditch Mythic Weapon Finesse anyway, since I can just use the inherent bonus I get as a soulknife to add the Agile property, and save the Mythic feat for something better.

Sovereign Court

Edited the layout of Rth's profile a bit. And added some text.

"Rthignynt does seem to favor one of its forms over others as it habitually reverts to the shape of a dark skinned elf."

and

"Some time after devouring a sacrifice, the mold began exhibiting anomalous behavior. It is uncertain whether or not the individual sacrificed had an effect on the mold or if it was simply a coincidence."

and

"Occasionally, beings that are outside of the natural cycle of life and death take grasp of The Shifting Decay's interest. If not greeted with hostility the Molded One will join the being in travel (whether wanted or not.) Like a creeping vine entering each crack in a brick wall, Rthignynt will probe the entity with various questions, often taking long pauses between each question as the Rthignynt ponders over the creature's response."

I think I've come to the conclusion that Rthignynt is probably an anomaly caused from the mold that had been worshiped using the "Create Spawn" effect on an elven druid from one of the Mwangi tribes.

I dunno. Maybe it really is just a mold that gain some divinity through "fake it to you make it." The world may never know.

Actually I spotted an error with Amnons extra spells from the Veiled Illusionist which I have corrected. He now has two extra spells at levels 3, 4, 5 and 6 and one at 7th.

DM Divinity wrote:

@Teras, Captain of the Red Legion - How is Teras getting finesse with his trident and with his dwarven war shield?

Why does he wield a dwarven war shield? Was he raised or trained by dwarves? Was it a significant gift from a dwarf? Also, Teras is missing 'Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Dwarven War Shield'.

How much does Teras care about money nowadays?

Teras only gets 'challenge' once per day from VMC cavalier.

Finesse comes from fighters finesse which allows weapons that aren’t normally finesseable to be used with weapon finesse, so his weapon group of spears can be finessed and the Dwarven war shield is light allowing it to be used with weapon finesse.

I like the Dwarven war shield because I just didn’t like the idea of using a spiked shield but using the same combination with a light shield for weapon focus, gives the exact same thing due to shield master. I’ll change that right now since I completely forgot that it was an exotic weapon.

Money to Teras is more of means to end. He wants glory and money helps fund his campaigns for glory. He really doesn’t find much intrinsic value from amassing wealth. Is this just a question or did I mix something up in the character creation?

Chapel Ty'El wrote:

We don't hate the Kytons, they are too far beneath us to warrant hate.

Kytons are pitiful. They profess to change and free people through pain, but their idea of change is itself just an exploration of the single concept that is pain. In their own self-righteous self-delusion, kytons proclaim to be freeing themselves and others by way of agony, when in truth each slice of the blade or tortured scream only tightens their self-applied chains.

We pity them, and want to free them from themselves by removing them from their bodies.

Sorry. Got a bit in character there for a sec

@GM Divinity

For my unique item, I wasn’t sure what effects to give it, so I figured I’d just apply ABP to it and call it a day.

Forgot to add the SLA, and I am aware of the DCs. I’ll replace Void.

I’ll get the changes updated later today.

Late submission, but I saw you reopened submissions and I wanted to get one in. Stats to come.

Questions, Henrietta Howard:
1. What is your character?

Handsome Henrietta Howard, like Kurgess before her, is an athlete whose unique skill at competition propelled her forward into godhood.

Out of character, Henrietta comes from a strong and powerful desire to take the Possessed Hand and Countenanced Carbuncle feat lines and use all of them. As an Eldritch Guardian, her hand becomes a familiar and gains the Mauler archetype, allowing it to grow to size Medium and qualify for ridership with the Undersized Mount feat.

1a. Where are they from?
Henrietta is from any large metropolitan area where she could get a new sport to take off and flourish, but she was raised in the Darklands by her half-orc foster mother, and before that she lived in the countryside with her father and mother.

2. What is your character's portfolio?
A natural competitor, her portfolio rivals Kurgess's by default, but rather than be the god of honest competition and the pursuit of physical perfection, Henrietta is the god of winning by any means necessary. Spider racers are encouraged to resort to underhanded or outright dirty tricks to win, and as the founder of the sport surface-side, Henrietta has resorted to some pretty spectacular and low-down, dirty rotten jabs and jibes.

Her areas of concern are cheating, competition, women, and winning.

3. What does your character look like?
Henrietta has grown taller and firmer since attaining godhood, but she is still relatively human in appearance. Her otherworldliness comes largely from Hank, her hand, father and mount. As an undead thing, he is cold and bony, with his meticulously manicured nails being thick and sharp, like shards of bone. Veins bulge over his tendons, always stretched tight, and he is capable of manifesting a single large bloodshot eye on his palm or the back of his, well, hand, as well as a large mouth with sharp teeth.

4. How did your character become a demigod?
A human jockey whose career began by racing dog-sized spiders in the Darklands, Henrietta brought the sport to the surface world only to violently and dramatically lose her own hand to her own mount.

At that point, the disgruntled and disappointed spirit of her father, Hank Howard, began to haunt her, and eventually manifested as her own lost hand, obsessed with injuring her. Under the tutelage of a powerful wizard, she wrested control of her hand back from her father's ghost, and learned to distort and manipulate the phantom limb to suit her own whims and desires.

Rather than use this newfound magicks for any practical cause, she decided to return to her favorite pasttime, and enlisted herself back into the marvelous sport of spider-racing with a new mount: Her Hand Hank.

Having brought the sport up from the Darklands, and with her miraculous comeback story and continued success at the track, she began to receive worship and adoration from rivals, fans and lovers. She is spider racing, even if she rides a hand.

Her divinity has changed little about her daily routine. She spends most nights drinking and celebrating her never-ending series of wins at the track, and rents an apartment above a bar, denying that demi-godhood makes her any different now than she was before.

5. Where does your character live?
As stated above, any large metropolis where a new sport would flourish. This could be the City on the Sun, it could be Magnimar. Regardless of where she is based, she rents a small apartment above a bar, sleeping around and boozing when she is not practicing or competing.

6. Where in the verse is your cult centered?
At this point, her cult has permeated all levels of spider racing as a sport. She's done so much to build and define it past its origins that her legend has even spread back to Darklands. If there is a sort of gladiator-esque plane or world, she likely has some reach and influence there among the less scrupulous folk that live and compete there.

7. What sorts of people worship you?
Anyone willing to cheat or bend the rules in competition is welcome in the Cult of the Hand. Outside of sportsmen and athletes, her cult is primarily composed of cheaters (in both senses of the word), winners, amputees, and the vulnerable and abused.

DM Divinity wrote:

Yeah, original backstory was written quickly, I figured if you've been at a job long enough in the day odds are you'll take a break to relax a bit before going back at it even if your a deity.

The backstory is primarily from the Character's perspective, any info found elsewhere is player's creation notes.
The character only knew Kurgess as her adoptive father, but if you read carefully that a demi-god was fooled, well it was him....

Yeah the Conflict of race was not written in the backstory due to constantly being on a Good-aligned plane, effectively nuking the evil part, and later Not in backstory but thought of as the original game progressed, that being on certain aligned planes her succubus biology/nature kicks in more so this alternate persona is CN.

I have a lot to now add to the backstory as I had time to think of new details or ideas, but it does need some time to be organised.

Colors, I tend to blend two together and generally can't think of 100% how it'll turn out.

As for GFK, that link is to a updated version for PF, not the original 3.5 version.
I kinda wanna give a old PrC some attention as they are pretty much forgotten and unused now a days.

Here goes! A few changes made, but the base remains the same. A very lucky polymorphing Diviner Wizard who seeks to explore the world and the secrets of the Divine Flame...

(I included the build in the Alias ad Tempus profile.)

Priella's profile is now ready for final review this weekend. I'm the type to randomly check things from time to time so a spell (and maybe a feat) might change, and I may update relationships or add details to backstory throughout the week but nothing major will be changing at this point.

In case you're wondering what changed, I bought all my major items, changed up my signature item a bit, got a little doll friend, and swapped a lot of spells.

I still might swap a feat or path ability since I just got my hands on the LG book with a bazillion new mythic feats and path abilities and have to go through them all, but if I do it will be something to support what's already in the build and not change her focus or main skillset at all.

I should probably update Ulliaza's relationships to reflect the people who have joined in, and the people who have left.

Sovereign Court

I was thinking the same.

Also, I couldn't resist. Not the most powerful thing ever but I fell in love with Bog Boots a while back and, well...

Unique Item:

Wetland Wellies

These knee high boots appear to be a pair of Bog Boots that have had their soles replaced with a layer of pulsing fungus. The fungus maintains a steady warming or cooling feeling keeping the wearer at a comfortable temperature as if she were affected by an endure elements spell.

In addition to the normal effects of a pair of Bog Boots, the user may create a thick fog over the affected squares as if using Obscuring Mist (CL1) for 1 minute or increase the depth of 2 of affected squares as if by Create Pit (CL 3) for 3 rounds. The wearer may decide each time they use the Wellies to use the extra effects and which to use.

When the pit effect is used the wearer rolls 1d10 to determine the origin for the the pit. 1 being the initial square adjacent to the wearer and 9 being the last square. On a result of 10, reroll. The wearer may choose the second square for the pit effect though it must be adjacent to to first as per Create Pit.
If the wearer spends a standard action to rearrange the affected squares while either additional ability is active, the mist or the pit move with the bog. Use the pit’s same numerical location as it’s origin though the second affected square may be moved as long as it remains adjacent to the first.

Bog boots 12,000 + Create Pit 3/day 9,720 + Obscuring Mist 3/day 1,080 + Endure Elements constant 1,000 =23,800

Any chance we could get an updated roster of those who are still here? I need to get started on my fellow demigod relationship write ups.

BTW, feel free to PM me to discuss possible connections, everybody.

I'm still here with Maika. o wo/ ...Who I totally didn't name after the "mecha" limbs, honest.

We are still here. I/We are unsure if during my wanderings there was any interaction with any of the other submissions. If perhaps there was, just let her know and most probably I will agree and add it to our background and relationships as well.

hmmm...was thinking of having Priella talk with random pronouns I/we/she/us/etc but it's actually harder to do than you think. There's an inherent desire to stay with whichever one you start with.

I've never seen a spell like this...
Voidmote
So I can throw out up to 5 missiles, but the duration is one round per level.

Does that mean that I can throw out 5 missiles each round for 14 rounds, or that I can cast it and then at any point in the next 14 rounds throw out missiles up to a max total of 5?

Other similar spells (like Magic Missile) all have a duration of instantaneous. I've never seen one with a duration of rds/lvl

Anyone have thoughts on this?

@Monkeygod - Yes, a graft arm is fine! Rednal has mechanical arms that give benefits, so I wouldn't even make you pay for it if you didn't want benefits. If you do want benefits, use the same ones as the cybernetic arms Rednal is using.

@Amnon - I'm not seeing that rule that translates spells known -> spells prepared. Can you link me somewhere that the rule is? As far as I know, spells known just go into the arcanist's spellbook.

@Rednal - Sounds good, thanks for the explanation! It's all good as long as you have one.

@Ouachitonian - 'Devotee of the Green' isn't just being close with nature. It's actually following the religion "The Green Faith". There are plenty of other traits that symbolize a closeness with raw nature. Thanks for explaining about the other things.

@Teras - The reason I asked about money was because you mentioned several times in his backstory that the thing that drove him as a desire for more money. I'm just trying to figure out what his basic, core motivation is. It seems to be glory, yes?

@The Lobster - I really like Henrietta Howard! She's a very unique demigod concept, and I think the idea of riding your own hand is hilarious. I'd still like to see what domains you plan to choose to realize her concept, and of course I'd like to see the statblock.

In what way does 'women' tie into her profile? I suspect it has something to do with her abusive father, yes?

@RHMG Animator - It wasn't really clear, careful reading or no, that Kurgess was her immortal father. A little bit coincidental, then, that he ended up being her adoptive father too? Is he aware?

Alright, let me be a little bit more clear on two points:

A demonic/celestial character with no conflict between their good and evil sides is not really an interesting character to be. You cannot believably be a demon without some urge for evil, because in Golarion demons are physiologically evil. It isn't just the way that they are raised. No matter where or who or what demons are, they are evil.

You cannot use that Prestige Class. I know it's been updated for compatibility with Pathfinder, but it isn't on the list of available materials. If you want to do something vaguely similar to that prestige, you should use either the ninja or the vigilante.

@Alias - Looks correct, as far as I can see, except for one thing: Under ABP, cloaks of resistance and belts/headbands of +stat[/b] don't exist. You cannot buy them and have them stack with ABP.

Is there some reason that you chose to use the [I]wizard, of all things, to represent your character's exploration-focused concept?

@Priella - Regarding the voidmote. Considering that it's the same level as magic missile, I'm inclined to believe that its duration is an editing error. If you were to use it, simply treat the duration as if it was instantaneous.
