I did not go VMC - I went for the extra feats instead. More useful for my build.

Divinity,

I seem to recall something about Automatic Bonus Progression, but unless I missed it, that doesn't seem to be included in the rules above.

Otherwise, we're *way* under WBL for CR 14.

Also, I saw mention about *possibly* using gestalt, but I'm guessing you opted for the free VMC instead, right?

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Question, for the my character's famous item, would you allow me to make something like a staff of wonder? Essentially turning a rod into a staff. I get some fun benefits from using a rod of wonder, but for flavor reasons I'd like to use it as a quarterstaff.

Character Creation wrote:
Automatic Bonus Progression. Automatic Bonus Progression has two adjustments. The first is that the enhancement bonus you gain to ability scores can stack with enhancement bonuses to ability scores granted by class features and spells up to a maximum of +8 total. The second is that you do not have to pay twice for special abilities on purchased weapons. Your attunement enhancement bonus automatically stacks with the qualities that you purchase for your weapon. Unchained Barbarian, Summoner, and Rogue are mandatory. Fighters get Combat Stamina as a bonus feat.

Yes, you are under WBL by something like 15,000, with ABP accounted for, but also, the ABP weapons and armor are worth more than base ABP. I think it's ok. If you are worried about wealth, don't, it will be made up easily, and it will be accounted for in encounter design.

I opted for free VMC, yes, it gives something gestalt-like without as much headache for me.

Simeon - you may turn a rod into a staff, if you like. That's no problem.

Rednal - Thank you for pointing those out! I appreciate it.

Important question for any of us prepared casters,

Are you allowing bonus spells to be added to our spellbook/familiars/etc to represent finding spellbooks while adventuring, trading with other casters, etc? This would be beyond the normal spells added per level + any spells bought.

I've had some GMs grant anywhere from 2-5 extra spells per level.

Dαedαlus wrote:

Okay. Would you perhaps allow a Dread Vampire with the normal weaknesses? I'm largely interested in the Polymorph, Children of the Night, and Flight abilities, as they seem appropriately 'demigodly,' and I'll have limited access to comparable abilities as I'm planing on going with Mesmerist for my primary class.

Also/alternatively, would the variant +0 vampire templates (mastermind, noble dead, etc.) be allowable? They make sense for the Third Vampire to have.

Regarding ascension, I'm not sure how it would work from a lore perspective if he were waiting until something the other two weren't patient enough for, considering he's the weakest of the three. That said, I think I might be able to make something work.

Daedalus,

I'm thinking of making Veldrin a psychic vampire, wanna link up characters some?

Edit: Assuming of course Divinity is okay with possibly taking two vampire characters.

I was thinking of making him a lich, but I feel the psychic vampire template fits his overall theme much better.

You may purchase new spells to add to your spellbook using the standard rates, reproduced below:

Scribing Costs:
1st - 15gp / spell
2nd - 60gp / spell
3rd - 135gp / spell
4th - 240gp / spell
5th - 375gp / spell
6th - 540gp / spell
7th - 735gp / spell

Spells above 7th are not available for scribing in any settlement.

If you purchase a blessed book, you may instead get spells for free as if you were three wizards of your level (9 plus triple Int level 1 spells at level 1, 6 spells per level).

Please notate somehow which spells are purchased.

Witches must pay for a scroll of every spell they wish to add to their familiar above the normal amount.

For prepared casters are we able to purchase access to spells at the usual rate (half the scribing cost)?

I am looking at playing an arcanist with the Quick Study exploit.

How would that interaxct with the Perfect Preparation mythic path ability? Linked to that, how does Perfect Preparation work generally? Do you still have to buy access to spells or can you simply prepare any spell in existence that is of a level you can cast?

Quick Study wrote:
The arcanist can prepare a spell in place of an existing spell by expending 1 point from her arcane reservoir. Using this ability is a full-round action that provokes an attack of opportunity. The arcanist must be able to reference her spellbook when using this ability. The spell prepared must be of the same level as the spell being replaced.
Perfect Preparation (Ex) wrote:

You have discovered the secret to preparing spells without having to refer to outside sources. You no longer need to prepare spells from a spellbook (if you’re a magus or wizard) or a familiar (if you’re a witch). You still must spend the normal amount of time preparing spells. You may keep or discard your spellbook or familiar.

@andreww - Perfect Preparation basically gives you a free blessed book, except it can't be stolen. Think of it that way. You can buy spells at 1/3rd the above rate (1/2 the scribing cost) because all you need to do to memorize them is to access them. You can learn spells in-game for free by accessing scrolls, spellbooks, and other arcane writings. It otherwise still takes a Spellcraft check and the same number of hours, but it involves basically reading and re-reading the page until you totally memorize it.

You don't get access to all spells with one mythic path ability. You still have to pay for new ones, but the cost is greatly reduced, and the weakness of needing a spellbook is gone.

Makes sense?

@Divinity:

I'll be working on crunch today and I wanted to get your opinion on the Fungal Tenmplate

@Chapel Ty'El - Seems fine to me. Seems appropriate.

Fungal Template wrote:
It grows from spores implanted in the dead body of a host creature, and takes on the host creature’s basic form and many of that creature’s abilities.

I'll need you to be specific about what kind of creature your character grew from, though.

Yep, that seems absolutely fine with me.

It does leave the qustion of how it interacts with Quick Study. Quick Study says you have to reference your spellbook to use the ability. Do I need to keep them on hand to use quick study or can I swop out between the spells that I have gained access to, whether for free or with purchased access?

Yeah, I was thinking that I'd probably just use a human. They idea I was floating was that an unlucky adventurer was the last sacrifice offered by the tribe. The (already atypical) mold and this adventurer somehow bonded to create something wholly new.

I know I'd have to adjust Rth's story a bit but, I don't think it's very different from what it is already. This is actually closer to what I had before my initial post too.

The way you want it to work works.

With Perfect Preparation, you don't need a spellbook for whatever you need a spellbook for. You can access whatever spells you happen to know.

Ok! About Rth!

Can you tell me how to pronounce the name?

Sovereign Court

In my head I'm pronouncing it RITH-ihn-YUNT buuuut it's like Cthulhu. It's however you pronounce it because mortal tongues can't form the appropriate syllables lol

@DM: Very odd question here.
Signature item is 25k. If I were to grab a staff that's over that amount a bit, and then turn it into a thematically applicable cursed item would I be able to get a discount and bring it back down to the 25k limit due to the curse?

Specifically thinking of mixing the Chaotic Staff and Staff of Occasional Wonder together. I'm even more than happy to take the "overage" out of the 50k pool for other items. I'm not worried about spending out of the startup allocation, I'm more worried about getting in trouble for going over on the single item.

Second but relevant question: Do magic staves in the game count as quarterstaffs? Basically if I was to use a magical staff could I also smack things with it and apply the normal quarterstaff damage plus ABP attunement value?

Normally, magic staves can be used as quarterstaffs. The exact line is "A typical staff also functions as a walking stick, quarterstaff, or cudgel." The Staff Magus archetype uses this to great effect.

@GM: is Sacred Geometry and/or Arithmancy allowed? It seems OP, but so-very-interesting!

DM Divinity wrote:

If Ranam was born a slave and was the sole survivor of an explosion that killed a ton of efreeti, how is it that the efreeti allow him to still live in the City of Brass? By my reading, they would blame him for it, and there are creatures in the City of Brass who are much more powerful than CR 17, easily enough to oust him if they wanted to.

What do you think about this issue?

Other than that - I like the concept of your deity. What kind of hammer is his favored weapon? A warhammer? A light hammer? A meteor hammer?

We'll add to Ranam's story a little to cover these angles. When the forge was destroyed during the breaking of the Sword of Tarkaneth, most of those present were killed, but a small number were hurled through random planar gates to other places in the multi-verse.

Ranam woke up in the fabled city of Tanelorn, a place that is a crossroads in the multiverse. Finding himself there with no resources beyond his skills in the forge, he found a himself a job with a smith who is devotee of the Goddess Brigh.

It became apparent that the explosion had done more than transport him and he had absorbed part of the power of the sword during the unbreaking. This power augmented his abilities as a craftsman and warrior.

Ranam does know that at least a few others survived the destruction of the Sword of Tarkaneth. Decades after the sword was destroyed, his mentor was killed when one such survivor attacked the forge and temple of Brigh in Tanelorn in an effort to kill Ranam.

After his mentor in Tanelorn had passed away, Ranam returned home to the City of Brass. His abilities and skill at navigating the city's politics have kept him from falling under the influence of any of the city's powerful nobles.

The hammer he wields is a light hammer, closer to a smith's hammer than a warhammer.

Not that I'm likely to take a weapon or armor as my signature item, due to being a wizard,

But if one chooses to use one of the above as their sig item, how does that interact with ABP?

I'm mostly just curious, but I suppose it could be helpful to others :)

Hmm... I have a funny feeling that a disproportionate number of applicants are making wizards! At this level and under these circumstances, it wouldn't be entirely uninteresting!

I would say that you cannot take a cursed item in order to reduce its cost. That doesn't really feel fair to me. However, you can pay for the "overage" out of your normal WBL.

A staff can also be used as a weapon.

Sacred Geometry is allowed, but it will be nerfed to provide a maximum of 5d6 dice. Taking a look at the tables that calculate % of success, this is the best number to ensure a significant failure chance on higher levels of spells.

ABP stacks freely with the bonuses that you purchase from other things. It's just a bonus to hit/damage when using the weapon on top of whatever else you gain from it.

Please, guys, try not to get hung up on the details. We can worry about whether you've done your character correctly another time. The purpose of you making your statblocks is to see how you envision tying your characters' abilities into your concepts. Not that I mind answering all of these questions, I'm just concerned that they're hindering the process more than they help.

OK, this alias should have everything combined. There is his background, divine relationships, stat block, equipment, purchased spells and familiar.

Everything should hopefully be clear. I think I have encapsulated the idea of a magically empowered spymaster and knowledgable advisor/sage reasonably well. There were other mythic options I might have taken but you only get so many to play with.

If you have any questions please ask.

Can pre-game crafting increase starting wealth?

Yes, if your character is capable of fulfilling all prerequisites by themselves (and thus they can make the item with absolutely no help) then you can make items for 1/2 cost.

*Amused look*

This might matter more to me if I was actually using magic items beyond cybertech. XD Although I suppose I could craft those, too...

Well this is getting interesting. I'm concentrating so hard on bringing out Priella's concept that she's definitely NOT optimized for combat. She's not useless at all but 100% a support/backup combat girl. She'll be extraordinary for RP and social situations though.

And I've found SO many things with random effect tables.
Hopefully I'll have the profile done up by tomorrow at the latest.

As I build her I'm getting to know her better so some of the domains and such might change, but I'll be sure to post the whole thing with updates once I'm done.

This is another recruitment I should look at. :D

Sovereign Court

I think I'm gonna hold off on selecting gear and such. I don't want to go through all of that and end up not selected.

I did have one question though, for mythic abilities that reference your deities favored weapons, can we use our own im place?

I have a question, mostly because the special item I wanna make is rather unique. I wanna take the effect of the Infiltrator Mail and the effect of the Ring of Mind Shielding, combining them into a shoulders item. I did the math, and the total cost came out to 23,450 GP. Does that sound alright to you?

You mean it's not armor. You want an item that magic-aura's all of your equipment and is also a ring of mind blank, and it's a shoulders-slot item. Yeah, that seems pretty reasonable.

Yeah, use your own favored weapon.

It's OK to not select gear. It's even my least favorite part of the character creation process.

Sorry, Almonihah, the recruitment is closed to further demigods. I'll already have 16 level 14 characters to audit, and I already have more than enough I really like to choose between.

Also, I wanted to say: This week, I will be uprooting my life and throwing myself to the winds of change. If I'm being as responsible as I want to be being, I won't have the time to answer specific questions for the next few days.

Please, do you best to finish up your statblocks before next weekend, I'll be back to audit your sheets and begin the game. I just wanted to let you know not to be concerned if you all ask questions and I don't respond, and I also wanted to say not to wait for my answers to finish up your characters. Just post your intent and we'll figure it out later.

Priella wholeheartedly endorses your goal to throw yourself to the winds of change. This makes her very happy.

Honestly though, good luck in whatever your endeavors are this week, and don't bother looking at this profile it's only halfway completed. I just couldn't resist posting after the way you phrased that. XD

Saint Ulliaza:
1. What is your character? Where are they from? Ulliaza was born to drow nobility in life, as a member of House Vonnarc. Her easy life amongst the elite of drow society would never come to be, as her parents were taken out as political enemies incredibly quickly. She was spirited away from her potential murder by one of her parents servants, but they were both captured by duergar a little later.

Thus, she spent her childhood growing up amongst the slaves of the duergar. She was sold to a wealthy merchant for her ‘rarity’ and grew up a trophy. Her fellow slaves provided bits of kindness when they could to the young child, and she kept her head down while her magic grew in her blood. She grew quick witted, intelligent, and rebellious. A soft word here, a swipe of a knife there, and a single thrust was enough to end the merchants life and start her revolt.

She rallied the other escaped slaves and together, they tore their way out and into the Darklands proper. It was only the beginning of their fight, as they didn't stop at freeing themselves. Slave caravans of all factions were attacked, raids were made into towns and cities, they sparked revolts wherever their trail left. At the head of all of it, was Ulliaza, throwing the weight of her wits behind the cause. It all came to a head when she through her mind against the First Daughter of House Vonnarc to give her followers time to escape during a raid gone wrong. Shefstalled to the bitter end, eventually being overwhelmed by a horde of summoned demons. Her followers mourned her death, but that was not the end for her...

2. What is your character's portfolio? Revolution, Subterfuge, and Good-Aligned Drow. Ulliaza is in a lot of ways similar to Milani, if Milani had the natural deviousness and ruthlessness of a drow. One way that she differs from Millani is her willingness to forgive those who seek her blessing. She views revolution as something that can happen on more than just a societal level, as something that can happen on a personal level as well.

Domains: Chaos (Riot), Good (Redemption), Liberation (Revolution), Trickery (Deception)

3. What does your character look like? Her appearance is similar to what she looked like in life, a silver haired drow woman with a mischievous smile, clothed and cloaked in dark greys and blues. The only change noted in her appearance since her ascension are the dark blue roses woven into her hair. A sign that she has visited a location are a few blue petals along a doorway, or an entire rose tucked away somewhere private if you have gained her favor.

She is also known to take many, many disguises as the situation suits her. It has been observed though that they're not magical disguises, rather entirely mundane in origin. An old ragged shawl and some makeup, or a wig, bulky furs, green paint, and fake teeth are some of her favorites.

4. How did your character become a demigod? In life, she was a force of substantial change in the Darklands. Her and her groups existence provided hope to untold numbers of slaves stuck in the flightless depths. Such a person managed to gather extraplanar attention, from both those below, and above. It was her final act of martyrdom that pushed it over the edge for one goddess. When her soul made it to the Boneyard, she found herself getting scooped up by an azata and carried to Elysium, directly into Milani's Garden.

It was there that The Everbloom was waiting. The two talked for a long time, the goddess showing her what became of her followers and her name in the time since her death. Even though she had never done anything particularly holy in life, or had been religious at all, they had raised her up as a saint. They still fought and survived in the Darklands, though they were getting slowly whittled down. Milani guessed that they would likely not last another year without aid. Thus, she got to the point of why she had Ulliaza brought to her domain. She offered to grant her a portion of her divine power, to raise her to the level of a true saint, and bring hope to the one place on Golarion where it was needed the most. She accepted, and ascended.

5. Where does your character live? Ulliaza has two places she can truly call home. The first place is a small series of caverns located underneath Milani's Garden that she was allowed to set up residence in. The other is the home of her cult on Golarion, the Secret Sanctuary, a well hidden base in Nar Voth that contains multiple ways down into Sekamina, and up into the nation of Andoran.

The Petal Trail:
1. Where in the verse is your cult centered? Her cult is almost entirely centered in the Darklands of Golarion, mostly in the Nar Voth and Sekamina regions. They're almost never too far from the major slave empires that exist below, whether it be the Derro, Duergar, or Drow. They have a smaller presence in Orv, in the intellect devourer city of Ilvarandin, where they raid the slave ships of the Denizens of Leng. Even smaller is their presence on the surface, where their follower are only those they have aided in escaping, or members who help those who have escaped in finding a new life.

2. What sorts of people worship you? Ulliaza is worshipped almost entirely by former slaves, or individuals who have seen the wrong in slavery and seek its abolishment. Her motto of “no one is free, until everyone free” brings in many differing types, including a surprising number of disenfranchised duergar and drow. If they come seeking a revolution in their life and way of thinking, then she accepts all with open arms.

3. If your character has one, please describe your character's herald. Ulliaza doesn't have a herald as much a second in command, a duergar tyrant pyrokineticist named Gorna Firehammer. A red haired and fiery eyed young duergar with a temper to match, she was freed during an early raid against the derro. She has proven incredibly reliable and zealous, with enough sense to be able to keep things together when Ulliaza goes on her longer expeditions. Ulliaza is also the only person allowed to call Gorna by a nickname, Gorny. In return, Gorna calls her Ulli.

Relationships and Diety Block:
Relationships
- Amongst the divine, Ulliaza’s mentor is Milani, as well as being her closest ally, friend, and confidant. As the one who raised her into godhood, she feels like she owes the Everbloom, even if is a debt that she never intends to collect.
- Thanks to the close connection Milani shares with Iomedae, she also tries to keep a close connection with the Inheritor. She is quite proud of the fact that she is referred to by the warrior goddess as ‘her sister’s star pupil’.
- Cayden Cailean is also considered a true ally and friend, stopping by his realm during her occasional break to ‘get some of the best booze in the universe for the folk back home’. It is noted that she has gotten Thais to stop by the Secret Sancutary at least a couple times to join in on large celebrations the cult occasionally holds. She brings the beer.
- Her relationship with Desna, Shelyn, and Calistria is friendly, though she rarely meets the much busier and important deities. She respects Desna’s sense of freedom, Shelyn’s ability to completely revolutionize a society's culture, and Calistria’s skill in deception.
- She practices a policy of avoidance towards Sarenrae, Torag, and the majority of the elven pantheon for differing reasons. Her feelings on Sarenrae are conflicted, as while she respects her endorsement of redemption, she can’t respect her allowing her followers to practice slavery. She avoids Torag for the simple fact she’s fairly sure he might try to kill her on sight, as his doctrine is very much ‘no mercy’. The elven pantheon would like nothing more than to forget the fact that some of their worshippers fell, and the feeling is mutual.
- While she has her dislikes and hatred of several evil deities, circumstance leads her to not interacting with them very often. She most commonly is in opposition to various demon lords, Droskar, and Hastur, though only in the sense that her cult is regularly in conflict with their worshipers.

(This’ll be the section for other submissions. If anyone has any issues with these, feel free to tell me and I’ll change it.)

- She has no real opinion on Maika, seeing as she rarely ever visits Axis or Hyraeatan. She enjoys the benefits his cult brings though.
- She sees Priella as a somewhat hard to predict ally, as while she personally tries to bring revolution for good, she can’t always trust her to do what’s ultimately best. Someone to work alongside, but keep a close eye on.
- She doesn't really have knowledge about Rthignyt. Her few run ins with his cult have been few and far between, and she can't really make an opinion on them.
- Her relationship with Ammon, while mostly business related, is friendly enough, even if that feeling is mostly one sided. Ammon is one of the few people she feels comfortable actually asking for information from, much preferring to get information herself most of the time.
- She views Teras and Avram in a good light, having encountered the both of them while out and about doing her work in the world. She doesn’t actively work with either of them beyond occasionally slipping them information they may find useful. She has absolutely no idea where the rumour of romance came from, and completely denies anything of the sort.
- She has been in Nestellbam's part of the underground before, almost entirely by accident. What she found while skulking around his city intrigued her, and disturbed her, in the same way that visiting a hoarders house would. She's considered asking if she can shift refugees more used to the underground into his city, but has been hesitant to attract the dragon gods attention.
- She has only heard things about the Blood Emperor, and they have not left a good impression on her. She can't help but wonder who would is more cunning out of the two of them, and has considered seeking the vampire out merely to see if he's willing to a game of wits. Though, literally going to Hell isn't a pleasant idea.
- She has a fairly decent opinion of Caladrel, personally enjoying a good bit of exploration. She really doesn't interact with the demigod though, as her interests keep her fairly far away from ‘his corner of the cavern’.
- She's only heard of Ranam in passing. Her thoughts can be summarized with “I wonder if he would give Gorny some tips…”
- From what little she's heard of Calxakti, she can't help but feel sorry for the man. She doubt she'll ever meet him though, as her business has no interest in Arcadia.
- Her relationship with Alithea is complicated, at least in her eyes. She stands opposed in a lot of ways to the rigid study and pursuit of the truth just through her very nature. Yet, she respects where the woman is coming from and her pursuit to end the misuse of magix.
- If there is one demigod she truly hates, it is Veldrin. She considers him everything wrong with her people, boiled down into one person. A heartless being using the ultimate form of slavery in her eyes to further his own pursuits. She takes great joy in causing as much trouble for him and his cult as humanly possible.
- She likes art, and singing, so she likes The Artist. If she could get a hold of him, she'd invite him to all of the parties held in the Secret Sanctuary.

Shroud of Petals; This dark blue cloak looks plain, but finely made at first glance. If one were to get up close and inspect it, they would see that it was actually made of dozens of individual petals, all woven together with silver thread. Crafted from flowers of Milani's Garden by the goddess herself, she gifted it to the newly minted saint to help her “stay out of sight”. It does not detect as a magical item, and prevents the detection of all other magical items the wearer has on their person, unless identify or a similar effect is used on said item. It also blocks detect thoughts, discern lies, and any attempt to magically discern her alignment.

I decided against going for VMC, I didn't see anything that really meshed or benefited the character. I updated the relations to include her thoughts on all the other applicants. If I got something wrong on any of them, or anyone has any suggestions, feel free to tell me!

As we are all adding in our thoughts about and relationships with each other, I want to notify you all of a slight change in Priella's attitude and ascendancy. I wanted to get this posted in case it changes how any of you might view her in the relationship section of the submission.

Priella, as an oracle of the old gods, channeled the void and the elder gods/great old ones' desires for change and entropy, reveling in the power to affect the world around her through randomness and even madness. As she grew in power she understood more of what they represented and did not agree with the other side of the coin, specifically the alien evil and penchant for wanton destruction that they desire.

When she realized that their goals and intellects were so different from anything understood on the spectrum of known planes, she knew that she could not keep their wills at bay forever. She was too addicted to the power that came from their influence, so instead of trying to close the connection she looked for a way to mitigate it. She took up studies in the occult and invited spirits to also channel their power through her, but unlike most mediums and spiritualists, she did not try to control these spirits. She felt that if there were multiple entities inside her fighting the urge for wanton destruction and evil that it would be easier to keep it at bay.

To this end, she began to randomize her actions as much as possible, and allowed the spirits free rein to channel through her at their will as opposed to hers. This combination of randomness and multiple wills served to allow her to suppress the alien evil that had permeated her being, but at the same time caused her to lose her autonomy as a single entity.

Now she travels the material plane as a catalyst of change. What remains of Priella's will still maintains a balance between good and evil, but the rest of her is lost in the multitude of personalities and urges that share her physical form. This loss of a concrete single will has caused her to transcend normal mortal limitations and become a true avatar of chaos, material change, and the randomness that exists between the stars, always pushing to make the world different and interesting while still maintaining balance between the extremes of 'good' and 'evil'.

(mechanically, I plan to actually roll each day to randomize which spirit I channel, so her abilities will be slightly different from day to day, and I have taken as many spells and revelations with random effects as possible to provide randomness while still being able to let the core original Priella stay on mission as much as possible)

*Blesses Priella*

I like you.

Sorry, Almonihah, the recruitment is closed to further demigods. I'll already have 16 level 14 characters to audit, and I already have more than enough I really like to choose between.

Understandable. Have fun!

I think this may be the final incarnation of my entry. Of course if Rth is selected things may change after gear has been chosen :)

I also have Leadership currently as the Level 13 feat because I love the idea of having a herald. Most (if not all) heralds of deities are from bestiaries. I was curious if it would need to be a PC race or if it could follow similar rules as our deities so if you could have a level 10 cohort and selected a CR 5 monster (that fit thematically) would it gain 5 class levels to make up the difference?

Other than that, I think he's all done.

Rthignynt Flavor:

1. What is your character? Where are they from?
Rthignynt was once a mold living deep within the Mwangi Jungle. The mold was content to feast on whatever it could find on the jungle floor until a primitive tribe stumbled upon the mold. They began to worship the mold as their “Green God” and the tribe’s shamans offered prayers to their god, whom they named Rthignynt. The tribe offered sacrifices, sometimes willingly giving themselves over and sometimes offering captured adventurers. All this to keep their god happy. Over time the spark of divinity began to glow inside Rthignynt and with that, came the memories and knowledge from each being that Rthignynt had consumed. With this came a greater understanding of all things and a desire to be free of the tribe. Rthignynt discovered that by focusing on the memories of each individual it could take the form of creature, though it would lose its shape in a matter of minutes and revert to a green mold. To counteract this, Rthignynt moves its focus from one creature to the next. The result is a being that takes the form of a man only to have decay and regrow into a beast and then into a woman. Ever reflecting the nature of life, death, and rebirth.
Some of the shamans began preaching of a day when their god would leave their tribe. They claimed that their god had been corrupted by one of the offerings and that was the reason behind their god's change in mentality. These shamans called for the bravest of the warrior to help imprison Rthignynt. The warriors were unable to contain their god and Rthignynt fled the jungle in search of a way to return to the First World wherein it proceeded to claim a small pocket as its own domain. The years of sameness in The First World took their toll on the Molded One and eventually it returned to Golarion only to discover that the descendants of the tribe had continued their worship of The Shifting Decay.

2. What is your character's portfolio?
Rthignynt
Molded One
The Shifting Growth
Alignment N
Areas of Concern: Change, Decay, Fertility, Growth
Domains: Death, Knowledge, Plant, Repose
Subdomains: Decay, Growth, Memory, Thought
Favored Weapon: Hunga munga
Symbol: Flower blooming from a mushroom
Sacred Animal(s): Vulture
Sacred Color(s): Gray and Green
Obedience: Bury a recently killed creature and plant seeds in the soil covering the body. Meditate on the importance of death to life. If no creature is available, uncooked meat may be used as a substitute. Once per day, when you make a saving throw to resist a disease you may make a single reroll. The reroll may be made after the initial save is made but before the result is revealed. You must take the second result even if it is worse.

Rthignynt believes that all things must live and die for new life to be created. Death is not to be feared as it simply a way for the self to transition into a new state of being, one with new thoughts and memories.

3. What does your character look like?
Rthignynt’s true form is that of a large, green mold. However, it maintains a constant flux of various forms as it grows, decays, and regrows into a new body.

4. How did your character become a demigod?
Rthignynt became a demigod after hundreds of years of feasting and being worshipped.

5. Where does your character live?
After having found passage to The First World, Rthignynt would have found a small patch of The First World to keep to itself. Rthignynt spends much of his time on the material plane as the inability of fey creatures to die as long as they are on the First World causes The Shifting decay to grow bored.

1. Where in the verse is your cult centered?
Forests, jungles, swamps. Even the occasional sewer or slums. Places where the natural cycle of all living things can be witnessed.

2. What sorts of people worship you?
Rthignynt’s cult attracts people of many backgrounds and, more importantly, morals. While there are definitely those who follow more unscrupulous methods (e.g. necromancers or assassins that favor poisons) there are those drawn to the cult who seek to cultivate new life. Blight Druids that seek to heal ravaged lands or foster the rot and alchemist seeking new methods to utilize mutagens are among Rthignynt’s followers. Farmers may worship The Shifting Growth after planting the season’s crops.

1. Write up any relationships that you have, either with other submissions or with existing divine or non-divine characters in the Great Beyond.

Rthignynt looks to both Nethys and Pharasma for inspiration and guidance. To Rth, Nethys presents the ideal vision of what can come from obtaining and using knowledge. Members of the Molded One’s cult have been known to join forces with members of the Gray Lady’s in an effort to destroy undead. Though heralds of the Lady of Graves maintain loose, working relationships with Rthignynt, it is uncertain whether of not Pharasma is actually aware of his existence.

Soon after first traversing the planes, the Molded One came in contact with one of the cruel fiends known as Kytons. Rather than kill its prey for food or sport, the Kyton revelled in the fear and suffering of its victim. Viewing the act as an unnatural extension of a death that should have ended swiftly, Rthignynt interfered and slew the Kyton. This unnamed Kyton remains as the only of the fiends Rthignynt has consumed, as the Kyton’s warped thoughts and memories caused the Molded One intense anguish.

Rthignynt has been known to keep the company of a few fey or plant creatures. Among these are a Fastachee named Grayne and a Polevik named Letus. It is not uncommon to come across a gift of Grasslings while approaching the Molded One's domain in The First World either.

Currently, the largest center of worship for Rthignynt is lead by a Boruta. Though Borutas typically avoid other sentient creatures, the one located in the Molded One's cult does so out of respect and a budding friendship. So long as the cultists provide more than they take, the Boruta is content to allow them to come and go.

Welp, a day late, and a dollar short, I guess. Good luck, DM Divinity!

i'm going to pull out with Nestellbam. just having such a hard time mechanically coming up with anything to play. But good luck to all the other submissions out there! Good luck!

Uliaza should probably have her Divine Source SLAs in her statblock - don't worry about revising it now, I'm just saying, they totally belong there.

Also, Rthignynt should have at least three spells in each level of his Divine Source SLA section, since he has three domains. Some level should have four or more spells because of subdomains.

Also, I would prefer to build your cohorts, since they will be NPCs controlled by me (except during combat). That's why I wanted good descriptions of them.

Good work, the four of you that have given full statblocks!

@Ammon - Is there a particular reason you're using the veiled illusionist prestige? I know you're aware that it's a Sivanah prestige class and that you wanted to get across that Ammon stole her knowledge. Does this mean you want to communicate Ammon regularly steals other deities' knowledge and powers?

I thought about listing them, but the idea of listing that many spells really didn't appeal to me.

Speaking of full statblocks...DONE!!!...everything requested so far is in the very long and spoiler-filled profile. I'm just missing gear, and a fancy name and description for my signature item (it's basic building blocks are listed)

There were some additional updates to things like domains, personality, goals, and ascension story, as while I built her I got to know her a bit better.

Also I put a little info about desired herald in the cult section for GM use.

EDIT: Additional information in terms of relationships...Priella is so used to being pushed by patrons, elder gods, and spirits that she is not at all adverse to being used as a tool by other demigods, gods, or even mortals. If your goal is some form of change and you won't try to restrict or restrain her random nature, she would be more than happy to ally with anyone to help them meet their goals.

She might take you on an odd route to your destination though. To quote Yoshihiro Togashi, "You should enjoy the little detours to the fullest. Because that's where you'll find the things more important than what you want."

Gotcha on the heralds.

I think I misread Divine source. Fixed.

The class brings a lot of flavourful abilities related to disguise and deception which helps his ability to do his job significiantly. I wouldnt say he regularly steals other deities knowlege but the role of spymaster is to learn secrets others would rather keep hidden. Better that these abilities are put to use by those who serve Justice than being hoarded by the likes of Sivanah's servants.

Well...I realized looking back at my crunch that the spells and SLAs I gain through Divine Source are the same spells that were on my as yet unnamed signature item, so that's kinda redundant.

If you are auditing my crunch pls just ignore the item. It will be something completely new and different soon, just not gonna rush the though process since we still have a week.

This is Ouachitonian. Somehow my computer decided to restart on its own overnight and I lost everything I'd been working on, so I've been semi-frantically working to rebuild. I'm going ahead and posting the alias, though realize it's still a WIP, and will be continually updated. I've got the first draft of a background and stats, though I expect tweaks to both. I'm about to begin scrutinizing the othr applicants and adding possible links. I can already see a real and obvious kinship with Amnon, own to the same avatar! Obviously, this would make us fierce rivals as often as friends. lol And unfortunately, we're probably in direct competition roles-wise. If we somehow both make it, I can change the avatar.

I went with bonus feats and, as you'll quickly notice, used quite a bit of DSP material. I'm planning to reflavor the soulknife abilities (and force armor from the Enduring Armor Path Ability) as being shadow-based; he forms his weapons and armor directly from the material of the Shadow Plane. Because of his nascent godhood, his shadow equipment doesn't suffer from the usual "will save to disbelieve" issues with shadow weapons and the like.

OK Priella has her signature item. It started off by taking the Ring of Mind Shielding and adding a continuous Pass Without Trace (total cost 22k), called a Shrouding Band. Since she obtained it, Priella took Legendary Item twice including the Intelligent ability 4 times, Undetectable, and Eternal Bond so NOW:

Chloe, the Shrouding Band:

Chloe started off life as a Shrouding Band (Ring of Mind Shielding with an additional continuous Pass Without Trace effect). Since ascending to artifact status, she prefers to be called Chloe and has the following statistics/abilities:

INT 20 / WIS 16 / CHA 18 / Ego of 21 (25 if dealing with a non-mythic creature)
- Speaks Common, Protean, Aklo, Abyssal, Celestial, and Infernal
- Has senses with range of 30'
- The wearer is continually immune to detect thoughts, discern lies, any attempt to magically discern her alignment, and does not leave footprints or a scent trail while moving. Tracking her is impossible by non-magical means (original item)
- Difficult to Destroy: Cannot be destroyed by normal means
- Legendary Surge (2/day): add 1d8 to any saving throw
- Eternal Bond: Cannot be bonded to another creature as long as Priella is alive and mythic, if bond is broken, it will immediately resume once Priella is returned to life or mythic status
- Undetectable: Grants Priella the ability to become utterly undetectable while invisible, unable to be detected or scryed by any method
- Intelligent (telepathy): Can hold private mental conversations with Priella as long as they are in physical contact
- Intelligent (Spellcasting x3): Can activate the following spells as spell-like abilities at a CL12:
Disguise Self 3/day
Invisibility 3/day
Detect Scrying 1/day
Mage's Private Sanctum 1/day

Chloe shares Priella's paranoia of being tracked or watched by the Old Gods. She is suspicious of anyone acting strangely and will keep Detect Scrying up constantly (1/day with 24 hour duration). Although her other SLAs are usually as directed by Priella, if Chloe detects that someone is scrying on them she will immediately cast Invisibility on Priella and then Disguise Self immediately before the Invisibility wears off in order to protect Priella from being potentially found by the alien entities they both fear.

I know that it might not have been the most "mechanically efficient" thing to use 1/3 of my mythic path abilities on a legendary item, but Chloe seems very flavorful and adds a lot to the character so I'm going with it.

I'm half tempted to "waste" 10k of my starting gold on buying a kitten and using an item to awaken it just so I have a second friend to travel with. I just have to figure out how to keep it from aging so it always remains a kitten and never a cat... Min-maxing be damned you gotta add that flavor.
