For bodyguard normally Matheus is +4 to hit (+5 right now with Ivanna) and if successful adds +5 to AC for that attack. It is currently only once per round.
FYI I am attending a conference this week. There are even a few events for it the next two evenings. Please do not hesitate to bot me, though I will post when I can.

Apologies, had some delays because of traveling, catching up asap.
Guys, I need some decision before I can move you...
Also, you are still in combat. The time doesn't stop for you, so the longer you take to make a decision about what to do, the more time the enemies will have to get reinforcements and prepare themselves.
Yes, you are on another round. You can keep making actions and I'll interrupt you whenever/if I seem fit. However, as I said, the more you linger, the more time you give the mongrels to organize themselves.
Well, I would post, but all I could do is several move actions to end up somewhere. I'll follow you guys wherever you go(either door on this floor, the hole in the ground, etc...)
Basically, posting to say I would post but my actions will depend on what others will do.

Well i would go in if there's noone else ready, but my AC isn't the highest, neither are hitpoints. Several hits with a bow will strike me down as well.
Would be good to have something draw AoOs or readied actions i guess.

This means I vote for a summon, since the people with shield and higher ac seem to have problems already.
Well, the people with shield and high AC are almost dying, HP-wise.
Aside from that, I am too far away to do anything but move closer to the rest of the group(or split off and open a door alone - which is a nope).
Hence why I said, I'd like others to act first because my final position will depend on what approach is chosen by everybody else.

Yeah if we can a summon going in first is probably the best approach.
Very well, the summoned beetle has eaten the archer's readied attack...
@Edril: You mentioned the beetle relaying back information to you, but the beetle, as a mindless being, can't speak or understand things... does Edril has any ability that would allow him to see what the beetle can? For otherwise there is no way I'm aware of you knowing what it saw down there.
Sorry all, having a bit of a rough time IRL at the moment... As such, posting with be sparse. Please bot as needed, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
Get better. Not saying that as a "we need you", saying that as "the world needs you", so I hope things get better. Take care of you. Games will be here.

Take care of your life! We'll be here when things are better!
@Ivanna: I believe you were unharmed before, and you took 21 (7+14) damage from the arrows. With 17hp, you were brought down to -4, not -7, so with Edril's channeling, you are conscious with 2hp.
Oh well. This time, I'm waiting.
If I had waited for Edril, I would have dealt damage after the healing, with lower penalty.
Weekends are always a bit difficult, but I'll try to post after all the non-frontliners have gone.

I apologize for keeping to forget about the flurry of blows thing.
Will try to remember next time.
Again, ready to post - but waiting on Edril.
(Waiting potentially already paid off, if my target fails the save versus Grease).
I would love to pre-post and simply state I'll wait until after they did their thing, but the tactical situation may change, and not knowing what the others do makes it hard.
At the same time it's too close a call to allow casual choices.

Normal stabilization check at this point would be 1d20 + 2 - 1.
Does that critical mean i get a -3 on that check?
That's cascading fast then...

You don't get the -3 critical penalty on stabilize checks... but also, with the wound threshold rules you are disabled from 0 to -2 (your Con modifier), so you can still act.
Conscious, yes, but disabled.
That means only a move or Standard Action.
Which in turn means unless she had the potion in hand all the time, she would need to retrieve it first(and could not drink it). Even if she did, she would provoke drinking it(as with retrieving).
That means effectively, Jiao would need to waste this turn 5-foot stepping away(which is an action), then next turn to retrieve the potion, then the turn after to drink it.
Mechanically, you could move up, retrieve a potion, and feed it to her.
(Nevermind that being distracting in melee, or the size difference) - thats what I meant.
Or at least get closer and get ready to feed that potion IF someone goes down - which seemed to go with your intent of trying to aid your comrades better than standing back and (effectively) skipping your turn.
:) It was really just a suggestion, sorry if I worded it pushy.
Guys, I'm really sorry to say this, but I've decided to close this game.
I love the story behind this AP and I like your characters very much, but being this game one so focused in combat, I can't accept to take more than a week to solve a single round of combat.
We are almost a full year playing together and have not finished 1/2 of the first book and this is the easier part. We'll be dead in real life before this game ends.
Would you reconsider to allow player botting? If someone does not post within 48 hours, another player can post for them?
I understand you cannot always bot people, but it would be a pity to close down like this. I know some Play-by-Post GM's also skip over encounters that are just there to "stretch" things out, not posing a real challenge and leveling by Milestone. While we would miss out on a few battles, that may also significantly speed things up(and possible act as inherent counterbalance to stuff like wound threesholds).
Or, at least, allow people a chance to drop out if they know they will be unable to keep pace(maybe with the option of coming back later), rather than drop all of us capable and willing to keep going?

I apologize for the delay in posting. Thought I was down and now have a busy week with limited access to computer.
There's always ups and downs in posting, that's quite normal.
Even in real life rounds not everyone is there every time and sometimes nobody is there.
Thought the game was going good so far.
Would be sad if canceled.

I have already considered such measures, but this would transform this game in a 2 or 3 players game. I've already cut the meaningless encounters. Sadly there is no way around my decision.
