So I am posting from work:
Apologies about not posting sooner, but I have been down internet wise for roughly a week, and will not have internet back up yet for a week or so.
This means that I haven't had internet for the last 4 days (as we had 4 days off at my work for the holiday).
It's been...an experience where I learned that I use the internet more than I thought I did.
With all of that being said, I will try to post from work as I can, but if I am in your game, please bot me as needed.
If I am running your game, please bear with me while I try to post when I can. Hopefully, sooner than better, but I want to be up front about this issue.

I am posting this to all of my games, so apologies if you see this multiple times:

Unfortunately, I have some bad news.

A combination of work-related stuff has lead to me having to take some time off from the forums. I am, in all honesty, going to need to be gone for several months, as I am going to be travelling for extended periods of time (weeks or more) and I'll likely not have good access to the internet.

As I am not someone who would want to have you all sit and wait for me here, I am going to be withdrawing/closing all of my open forum games.

I want to thank everyone who I have had the pleasure to game with over the last couple of years here, as I have immensely enjoyed my time on the forums, and hopefully, once my work stabilizes, I will be able to rejoin the community.

Thank you again for your time and energy, and I am sorry that I won't be able to keep things moving forward in any of the games that I am running.

Is this thing being paused for some reason I missed? Is it dying? What's happening here?

Waiting on the GM to let me know if I can learn if the spell had any effect(or extra effect or less effect) on that horde.

Just been a few days, so I'm not too impatient.

Agh, didn’t remember you made that. School has been especially hectic as of late and keeping up with all of my games harder. Your spell had full effect.

Hey, guys. I wanted to apologize for dropping out last year without warning; things started to change at work, and I just didn't have time for RPG's for months. I thought I had remembered to tell you this, but I guess I was wrong.

I'm glad to see that the campaign is still running, though; I had my doubts about the longevity of PbP's, but this group certainly proved capable of making it work.

Yasss Queen has likewise went MIA, but I know she had a lot going IRL, including some health issues.

We've since taken up running this as Co-GMs. Vulture King is in charge atm.

I have some stuff to run next, both for Zaidel and Lucas.

That said, I know *some* of what Yasss had in mind for plot, but not too much.

I was thinking of using my NPC Veldrin as the fill-in for the BBEG. He's not the same as whoever Yasss was going to use, but he'll do.

Should our Queen make her triumphant return like our ghostly friend above, I can easily turn over the bad guy reigns to her. Veldrin could just end up being a powerful mini boss instead.

As VoA says, we are all lined up to GM at some point, Mine not going to be that maga, just a little deserted place mystery, that I always find fun. But this one is going well with a Fey lands Mission.

I'm impressed you all managed to take over the campaign, but I'm sorry to hear that Yass was having problems. Hopefully, she managed to reach a healthy state by now.

I'm going to start reading through the gameplay tab this week. I'm interested in seeing how your party's fared since I left, as I recall a few hooks developing around that time.

Also, forever ago, Yaass gave me permission to have a friend play one of my companions(I have both an animal companion and familiar). Unfortunately, I kinda never got around to finding somebody.

However, I have since asked a buddy of mine to play my fae wolf.

Is that okay with the others? Obviously he won't be in the scene/fight, but once we finish this mission, I would like to have access to my wolf again. I actually have a lot of my spells known specifically for my animal companion.

It's fine with me. The more, the merrier.

This is a post I've been putting off making, but It's better now than later.

I've been offered an internship in the Sierras, working to restore damaged environmental sites. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, and one I really can't see myself passing up.

Unfortunately, that means that from July 23 to August 23, I'll be unable to post at all, as access to any sort of internet will be either infrequent or nonexistent.

That said, I have every intention of continuing the game once I'm back, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible.

For those that don't want to stick around, I understand. I'll be starting a few games once I return, and I'll be sure to let you know.

For those that do want to continue with me, feel free to ask me any questions, and work out how we want to handle this.

Lastly, that's a month+ off. Assuming you take even a week to recover, that's about the beginning of Sept.

I am 100% okay with just pausing the game while you're gone, and waiting fro you to get back.

However if you're able to post normally over the next few weeks, perhaps we can finish this quest, and move on to something new, run by another one of us players?

Otherwise, like I said, I'm cool with a mini break :)

With that stopping point in mind, I might like to pick it up at a later date. However, I have been missing playing VK, and I absolutely wouldn't say no to a chance to get back in the feathers.

We could also pick up a few new players once this part of the quest finishes.

I have returned! I'm just about ready to resume posting. There's one last battle left in this quest, and then I can hand over the reins.

I am hyped to get back into this! I hope everyone is still around!

Are you going to wrap up this story, going back to the Summer/Winter courts and dealing with any fall out, or does it end here?

Also, I'm not sure I'm fully ready to take over, as since I last mentioned I had something to run, I've taken on the task of fleshing out my homebrew setting Broken Golarion, which is quite the taunting task.

I can run it all the way back to the Courts, but I had originally intended it to end here.

Maybe we could find some new players in the time you need to get ready.

Wait, so that's it? That seems like it was extraordinarily simple for the situation we were called in by the King of Dandelions for. "Umraidh's forces have been massing near the Burrow". We fought a small trouble of zombie fey, found the old guard, killed a nymph-thing, teleported around an Ur-Shoggoth that was basically dead already, and killed that massive amalgamation of fey bodies and eldritch interdimensional technology. Oh and there was a puzzle door and a high-tech lock.

Were the reports of enemy's forces wrong, or did we somehow skip by all of them?

Also, a question from a long time ago that was never answered (although I assume I know the answer): do we continue adding iterative attacks as we level or are we capped at the 4 attacks/20 BAB?

I suppose how I phrased it was wrong, it was supposed to convey that things with the barrow had become active, with his forces, and anything else in the Barrow, starting to stir.

I’d imagine you keep getting iteratives, but I don’t exactly know.

It would seem we have massively stalled out. Part of that is definitely my fault. I've been busy with other games, super busy with the holidays, and just distracted and forgetful of this game.

If the players are all still here, how would we feel about setting up a discord channel for this game? I made one awhile ago, when we first started out, but it got little use.

If we all commit to using it, it can help us keep the game moving, keep us connected and chatting in general, and we can talk about what we want out of this game and where to go/what to do next. All in real time, more or less.

Also, do we wanna try and get more players? I would hate to see this game actually die out after all put so much work and effort into our characters as well as keeping this moving forward after Yasss left us.

I'm not sure if we would play on discord, or just use for out of character talk in 'real time' as opposed to this thread.

We could more readily discuss plans, ideas, and goals. We can chat about where we wanna go or what we would like to do, all in a much quicker fashion.
