I think he was saying move some of the spice out of the truck and make room for everyone. That even if they lose some spice, no one will die. Not abandon the truck. Kasit is that right?

I'll wait for anyone else to comment, before I post in game.

Edit: How much room is in the truck? If we can all fit in the truck without moving spice we should.


Arr I see read it wrong.

Ok you can place the broken Sand trucks cargo under the truck if you want and over it with sand. The cab sits 3 seats and a bad. The back of the truck has some space but your laying on crates. Say you can all fit in but your going to have very little room to move.

Quick question, since Borak is using the binoculars about how far are the bikes from him and about how far is he from the others.

about 0.5km, moving fast, you can get back to the team if you need too, odd thing is they seem to be slowing down as they get to the 1st dunes and out of sight.

SEE MAP, the new sand dunes from the storm are in place, they are about 15' for the small ones and 25' for the big ones.

Are the arcs sand dunes? If so Julia is going to wait behind one of them, hoping to set up an ambush.


yes they are and they make their sand backs useless, so they had to stop and will have to come at you on foot. Fresh sand dunes are not stable
you all know this.

Thank you…motherboard is dead. That makes me quite sad. Need to decide whether to get a new one or to just get a new computer. Either way, it’s not good.

Re Kn Nature or Survival DC14 to know where to hide.

Julia doesn't have either skill trained so maybe she can't hide (since you can only make a DC10 check untrained). She does have a sand straw though.

Another question, roughly how far away from the truck is the guy with the rifle?


about 400 years, the others can help you with the skill rolls
they can roll and tell you where is good to hide, as in not in drum sand

First of all, Panic, the post in game is absolutely lovely. I apologize for not posting sooner or with more grace. The quality of story you're telling certainly deserves more attention to detail on my part.

I've no excuses other than Real Life is busier now, or at least needing more attention than it has in years. Fortunately, the vast majority of it is very positive; taking classes and being involved in a couple of other creative opportunities. I knew there would be more of a demand on my time, and it's the reason I've whittled down to just seven games.

I'm glad this is one of the games I decided to stay in. Even if I'm not posting like I used to, it has been great so far.


That great and I am Glad RL is going well.
And your very much a key part of this game.

DUNE is a setting that is so large so well covered, with a tone that is so stark in nature. Life and death is just a step away on the sands.

Due to computer issues can’t move on map. But for targeting, counting green enemies left to right, as 1 to 6: dagger hits 1 and then hits 2. They are the closest to Kasit.

You have the damage listed at '13' that looks like the sneak damage and the crit damage, but not the initial attack damage. Just asking to make sure we didn't miss anything.

My bad missed that, They all have 30 HP so you have him at 9HP and he is confused.

Ok Guy I have a Big op on the 7th so I will try and get this fight over with before the 6th.

Yes I PMed him but he did not get back.
I will have him deal with one of the baddies and then move him out of the game until he comes back.

Hmm totally forgot about the 5 skill points, I will try and figure out what to do with them. But you'd said specifically that Ride Sandworm was it's own separate background skill, presumably different than 'Ride.' So we add it as its own skill, or at least I did. Borak has eleven skill points in 'Ride Sandworm,' ten points in 'Ride' and 9 points in 'Drive.' I just assumed 'Ride' fit the description, or maybe 'Drive' But does he really need a separate skill for 'drive sand bike'?
