Sorry for not posting till just now. Spent all day watching a marathon of New Japan Pro Wrestling which culminated in a 3 hour special of several matches from Wrestle Kingdom 12.
Also, dang you all post a lot/fast. Hard to keep up, lol
Decided to just be 'away' from the main group, instead of completely not with you guys. Think it will work out better this way.
Oh and feel free to decide if Lir hears any of the PCs surface thoughts or not.
Technically I think telepathy only allows communication, but I also have detect thoughts as a spell, so if I have to, I will subconsciously cast that.
As far as his powers and abilities go, Meggan from Excalibur is a big inspiration, as is Loki with a fair amount of Hermes.
Here's a second link for Meggan which details her powers a bit more.

The artifact key, for player knowledge.
Slot None; Aura strong transmutation; CL 16th; Weight 1/2 lb.
This platinum key can open nearly any lock or door with a mere touch. With a touch of the key, a lock of DC 40 or lower unlocks. When a creature holding the key attempts to break down a door with a break (locked) DC of 28 or lower, the door is broken and opened. In all other cases it grants the creature possessing Perfection's Key a +10 bonus on Disable Device checks to pick locks, and a +10 bonus on attempts to break down doors.
Destruction
Somewhere in the planes there is said to be an Impossible Lock—a mechanism so perfect that only this key can thwart it. If Perfection's Key is inserted into the Impossible Lock, the key is destroyed, but unlocks the Impossible Lock.

Damn!!

Fury, it was mentioned early on, I believe.
Also, I'm hoping the pace slows down a little after the weekend, otherwise it's going to be very difficult for those of us not on the boards 24/7 to keep up.

Yasss Queen |

Yeah it will slow down after this initial blast I think, also as the story gets more complicated it will require me to write longer and more detailed posts similar to my opening ones.
Edit: I think there was a bit of an emotional buildup that needed release due to my making the recruitment overlong.

Yasss Queen |

So what's the Knowledge Roll necessary to know what the Key is? And how did Kei know that its a Key that opens any lock? As far as I remember, it wasn't talked about previously.
DC 30 Knowledge(arcana) reveals the relevant facts about the Key.
Kei knew what the Key did because Kamii said so earlier.

Vrog Skyreaver, just wanted to know, is the silly anime harem thing something you're interested in for your Tenchi-like character? There is a location that will probably pop up with the first adventure or two(assuming you guys stay at all "local") that I could alter pretty easily for the normal Tenchi craziness.
Same goes for other players, if you guys want me to work something in for you the more prep time I have the better a job I can do.

Yasss Queen |

BTW, in case my backstory didn't make it clear. I'm kinda going with an idea previously stated in the recruitment - that my character is from Earth, but arrived here long before the others. A long, LONG time before the others.
All right, would you like your legend to proceed you? (except among the PCs who don't have any idea what's going on?)
We can have it that you have spent time on this current planet, but a different continent if you consent, that way your legend proceeds you but you will be close to on the same levels as the PCs concerning the explorability of this adventure?
Edit: Also wanted to acknowledge that I am aware the Nameless Warrior is ready to spring if the party gives the Key to Kamii. Kamii is, compared to your character, what is called in my game lingo an inconsequential threat NPC, which essentially means you can choose to roll out combat if you wish or you can just auto-win and narrativly destroy him anyway you like, except in ways a creature has immunites to, such as fire(unless you have some way of bypassing that). In this case Kamii is immune to divination and mind-effecting effects, but is vulnerable in all other ways. More on this later when combat starts to become a thing.

Yes please! (Including the bit about him fighting mainly with a lamppost. That's important as well)

It would be unusual for him not to have explored all of the continents through unless there was a good reason for it (like the continent being a secret continent masked in magic for some time). He's been alive for a very, very long time.
Edit: Also wanted to acknowledge that I am aware the Nameless Warrior is ready to spring if the party gives the Key to Kamii.
He's not actually interested in attacking Kamii. More so that he's interested in grabbing the key before Kamii can get his grubby hands on it if he's not content with the amount of information that has been given in response to turning the key over to Kamii.
That, and whilst he doesn't care about evil people doing evil things. Threats to the world is a threat to himself, and this key might be a threat to the world.

Question. Who did Lucas just go over and talk too? It's not Nameless, as I didn't see a Perception check to actually know that Nameless is even there.
I like to think that the Nameless Warrior is this level of awesome and famous!
Hehehehehe, that sounds good!
@-Fury of the Tempest. I was thinking more that he has travelled many worlds and planes and only (relatively)recently arrived on this planet, enough to make his legend well known but not enough to have thoroughly explored everything.
Ah, now when you actually start bringing in multiple worlds and planes. THEN I fully agree there is many he hasn't exploded yet! Through most planes and worlds have heard of him by now.

Totally forgot this before, but it's pretty cool that Alyssa is from New Haven, Ct, as I live in Ct myself.
I was going to have John come from there, but I've opted for Kansas instead.
Which reminds me, I need to finish his backstory. It's almost done, but I spend the weekend hanging out with my brother who came to visit.

Welp, I guess my backstory was just a wee bit too long for Paizo(Over a 1,000 words, and well over 9k characters), so I made it a separate alias, lol!!
I also did the same for my spellcasting, since it's a big list of spells known, and it just frees up that much more for the essentials.

Hey, people. Sorry for not posting before now; I wasn't exactly able to maintain a reliable internet connection over the last few days, but that appears to be changing. I'm glad to be a part of this!

Yasss Queen |

We may just be coming to the conclusion that we can't agree.
Yep, that's cool, it's usually how the "team drama" type story usually starts with a surprise high pressure beginning.
Part of the fun is learning to work together over time and that friendship is magic!
Or, you know, not, and everyone splits up as splinter groups or individuals =p
Anyway, as everyone is here now I'll move the story forward.

I've been thinking: If Zaidel levels somehow, I might want to put a few skill points into Perform (sing) and Perform (string instrument) and possibly expose Golarion or wherever we are to Earth's rock-n-roll. I was listen to some Queen while doing laundry and was wowed by the idea of creating a new to them style of music for this fantasy world! Bards and skalds from across the world might flock to Zaidel to learn his rock anthems, ballads, and party tunes from 'beyond the stars'!

Long term, I want to get involved in fae politics, and if possible, establish my own realm, either on the First World, Golarion or both. If I'm able to make use of kingdom building and down time rules, even better.

Joseph Miner |

Joseph is probably going to split off from the big guys, at least for the time being. He's going to be furious about not getting any information and'll probably try to convince those that wanted to hand the key over to split off with him.
As for his goals, he doesn't have any, not for the long term at least. Finding out what happened is priority number one.

Liriiestil |

Yasss,
Are custom spells OK?
I've come up with two so far that are listed on Lir's sheet, as I figured you wouldn't mind, but since I have at least one more in mind, I thought I should properly ask.

Nameless is probably going to try and make sure he isn't seen by anyone for as long as possible. Shadowing the non-Joseph group (as Joseph's breakdown and shouting means that Nameless doesn't believe Joseph will survive for long), just to see what they do, and likely join them if he is found out (or called out, as he has already been found)

Bage |

Bage might end up going with the Joseph group if a split does happen. A bit too uneasy leaving the 'weak' ones defenseless. Of course, he doesn't know that Joseph is a human pheonix and can't die, just a scouter's power level comparison.
Just to be clear. Are you okay should the group begin to split off, Yasss? Maybe even end up in a two table game? Don't want to put too much on our DM of course.

Yes, it may slow down some of my more epicly long posts alot but it's perfectly doable, however I don't want to run multiple tables and I'd like to keep all the stories contained within one game.
