I'll be leaving for a few days in the mountains tomorrow, back on New Year's Eve. I'm expecting limited connectivity and computer time, so will be pretty quiet until next year. Happy New Year to all!
GM Psychic Machinery
Happy New Year's Eve everyone! I'm hoping that we can get back into the swing of things in January. Currently, I'm waiting on actions by Morin and Karozekas, and I think Corbyn would appreciate some coordinates from Chloe and Sarusa. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great holiday, and I'm looking forward to gaming with all of you in 2014.

Happy New Year back at ya!
On the actions front, Morin is still hiding, per my post, and waiting for the drakes to get just a wee bit closer before he reveals himself. And hoping that Sarusa's excellent entangle plan works.
GM Psychic Machinery
Whoops, my bad Morin. Please forgive my careless reading. Anyway, I wonder how you guys would feel about instituting a rule to DMPC player actions if they go a certain amount of time without posting, I'm thinking 48 hours. I know that I have contributed to a large degree to the slowness of the game in the last month, so this might not be warranted, but I really would like to move us along a bit quicker and this strikes me as a good way to do it. What do you all think?
Karozekas Gostern
I am fine with that also. To be honest, I have somewhat lost a sense of timing due to the slow down. I didn't realize we were waiting on myself. I'll try to be more responsive, apologies.
Morin Tidelock
Hey all - just a heads-up that I'll be leaving Saturday for a week of work travel, that will then become a week of personal travel, due to return on Feb 8. I will try to keep up on posting, but I will be pretty busy.
Sarusa Almanthis
I've had a very busy day, cooking, cleaning, writing music, chasing a child around the house about 30 times while honking horns and blowing train whistles, so it's nice to sit.
Morin Tidelock
All - I will be on a work trip for the next two weeks (March 2-17). I will have internet access, and some time to check games, but may slow down a bit. Feel free to bot me if I'm holding up combat or otherwise impeding the flow of a game.

We're gonna have to bring the cart from town for all this!"[/b]
Does anybody know where the post is that contains this information. I'm trying to remember but I cant seem to recall about the cart or who owns it. At first I thought it was me but I don't have one in my inventory. Keeping up with continuity is challenging sometimes after such a long time.
Morin Tidelock
Well, at least you remembered something about us getting rid of the cart, which we did over a year ago, in this post.
GM Psychic Machinery
I'm trying to decide whether to try to speed this game up or look for some more people or put this game on a hiatus or maybe something else.
I could do a large update and put you guys on the outskirts of Ravenmoor if people would rather do that.
If those who are still interested in playing this game could check in within the next few days, I would appreciate it.

I hope this game doesn't come to an end. The current pace is actually working well for me at the moment (which isn't to say that I wouldn't mind a bit of a faster pace).
Eventually I'd maybe like to see things get on track in accomplishing goals from the actual module and maybe gaining a level and finding a Hippogriff, but I'm easy going. I'm just happy to be a player in a game as good as this one.
Morin Tidelock
GMPM - I think shaking things up by dropping us in Ravenmoor would be fine. Or short of that, you could wrap up the current scene quickly and take us back to town to bask in our success, or even fast-forward to us being on the road to Ravenmoor again.
As you know, Trout has been absent from the boards, so we're down a player there. Not sure what's up with Karo, I see him around elsewhere pretty often.
Sarusa Almanthis
I wouldn't mind a slight game speed up. For some reason, all of my games have gotten slower all at once--some sort of spring torpor?
Usually, if the GM cracks the whip, people either appear, agree to be GMPC'd for a bit, or drop out. Trout will come back, I'm sure, but she also probably (?) wouldn't mind botting in the meantime.
GM Psychic Machinery
Well, I'm definitely glad to see you four check in. Hopefully Karo will rejoin us as well. I'll send him a PM and see what's up. Also, you guys have found all of Qarxoosla's treasure hoard, and if you'd like to let me know how you'd like to spend it, we can take care of that in the discussion thread.
Galduria is a Small Town so there's a 75% chance that you can find a magical item worth 1,000gp or less for sale. Any given shop can buy/barter up to 5,000gp in value. Spellcasting of up to 4th level is available without too much trouble.
Once you guys get past Galduria, it will be very difficult to purchase provisions, so stock up now.
Sarusa Almanthis
No Druid's Vestments, then? I don't think I have the cash. Good to see you, Chloe!
Does anyone have a bag of holding? We should get one and fill it with provisions. Various good ol' low level stuff. Light generating things, maybe holy water, healing potions. More rope.
Not sure what Sarusa should get otherwise. Probably a shield or some armor enchantment, and some froggie barding for Gellig.
Karozekas Gostern
Hey guys, sorry about that, I wasn't showing updates and hadn't checked the thread lately.
I will admit that I have become somewhat disconnected to this one. Blame it on playing the PFS side of the game and the more fast paced leveling and whatnot. As Morin can attest, I keep a full plate of PbPs. When one starts to slow down, I have trouble staying engaged. Also, with the Gameday, I have a pretty full plate.
I want to say first off, that I enjoy this group and really enjoyed this in the beginning, but to give an example of my process of disconnection, we entered this drake lair six months ago and we started this about a year and five months ago exactly. In that time, in PFS, I have taken two characters to level 11 and many others to levels 5-8. Don't take this as a critique, but merely an explanation for my lack of full attention as of late.
That said, at this time, I'm completely fine with the pace, as I have a LOT of other games going on, and am having trouble keeping up with them all. And yes, I would like to continue with you guys.

[ooc]Do we have anything like a total on the treasure we collected? I want to think a bit about shopping.
I was wondering the same thing? I've been keeping track of things like XP but I was under the impression Karoz or somebody else had loot. Its difficult to make purchases when I don't know what my cut of the hoard is.
Karozekas Gostern
I'm out of town this weekend, but will update the sheet Sun or Mon. Other than what we just found, I think the sheet is relatively current. I'll parse through it as soon as I can.
Sarusa Almanthis
By my calculations, the lair loot is 582.1 gp per adventurer. Sarusa will take the Remove Disease scroll...
We don't really have enough money to buy anything decent magic-wise. We should get horses and a mule or two, and get a bunch of provisions.

I'll need ammo above anything else. I was also thinking of some weapon blanch just in case we come across anything with DR. I'd likely prepare 10 of each arrow ahead of time and hold onto the rest to share with the party. I used up all my starting gold so this loot is all I have.
Do you guys think this is a good expenditure of my cut? Any suggestions for the remainder?
120 Arrows (7GP)
40 Blunt Arrows (4 GP)
1 Adamantine Weapon Blanch (100 GP)
4 Cold Iron Weapon Blanch (80 GP)
1 Ghost Salt Weapon Blanch (200 GP)
4 Silver Weapon Blanch 5 gp (20 GP)
Total: 411 GP
GMPM: I did a quick tally on my carrying capacity with all this and I should just come in under my light load with this.
PARTY: Does anybody have any kind of extradimensional storage yet?
Arrows Remaining: 37
