Apologies for my absence. My wife surprised me with a beach vacation for my birthday this year. I had the stomach flu yesterday. Pretty bad in the tropics, that.

I got that in the tropics. Twice. Well, one was like 24 hour bug, the other was clearly a parasite. GOOD TIMES

@Chloe - tropical bugs are brutal. I got something in the Amazon in Ecuador that caused me to have 3 days of 104 degree fever and such insane muscle spasms that I would lie on my stomach and when my leg muscles spasmed they would lift my butt and stomach up in the air. Still no idea what it was. Hope you're feeling a lot better.

Onward! And I hurt but it was only about 24 hours of abject misery, though my stomache still hurts... erm... parasite? Oh god I hope not. Ever. Not even to be a supermodel.
You don't ever want one. I took pills that were literally--literally--the worst tasting thing ever. See, here's the thing about parasites---they are eukaryotes, like us, so what kills them also kills us. So--I was basically ingesting poison.* That's anti-parasitics for you. Yayyyy!
*--a dramatic oversimplification, but yeah, toxic.
