I think it'd be better to focus on hauling Morin out and raining death from above than having someone jump down there. I will point out that Sarusa has a 14 Str and goes first in the initiative order, just before the zombie dog thing, so some judicious rope-pulling might not be amiss.
And not only do I have no Sigur Røs puns, I missed the Bauhaus reference completely - but I've no real knowledge of the band and minimal knowledge of the artistic movement.
And can I just mention, I'm glad not to be dead, at least so far.

            his (near)death.
I'm eagerly awaiting GMPM's post in which he confirms this description. I know GPMM has a life to live, but he has literally left me hanging for 7 hours and 44 minutes.
N.B., I tend to be very careful in my use of the word "literally," and I think I'm in the clear in this case, though the whole thing is kinda figurative. But it's also literary, so it seems I could justify it.

No worries, just glad it turned out the way it did. Or at least that it didn't turn out worse. Was very exciting, exactly why I enjoy RPGs so much - even if we probably could have approached the whole thing in a less exciting fashion.

If ya had just let me drop the torch down. ;)
Yeah. My thought had been some pebbles with light cast on them, scattered through the room. But that doesn't do much for stealth. But stealthing into undead, without darkvision...not the way to go.
Gotta get some darkvision ability one way or another.

And to you! Anyone else nervous about leaving all our horses and supplies out there on the road in the fog whilst we go exploring the undead realms below? I'm thinking we might want to pause and bring them closer - but maybe that's just what GMPM wants me to think...

Had to step away, teach my 11-year-old to make a proper BBQ sauce, among other things. Nice that youse guys felt the same about collecting our horses and stuff and took action on it.
And glad that you seem to have your feet back under you, GMPM.

And then Chloe wigs out when she realizes the seafaring halfling switched with another one.
This is confusing to me. I thought I had posted as one of my other halfling characters - I have a bit of a halfling problem, and I can admit it. But I don't think I did that in this case. So what switched with which?

Dorin, who looked off into the distance. Twin brother, perhaps?
Ah, yes. That. More of an alter ego than a twin brother. I've got a seafaring halfling rogue who's just started a Skull & Shackles campaign. So he's one of those seafaring halfling rogues who's actually, you know, seafaring. And his name is Doran, out of a complete dearth of creativity on my part in a critical moment. I have not had their names cross-pollinate like that before, and I hope not to do so again.
But if I do, I know who I can rely on to keep me honest about it. :p

Oh, you know me, nitpickin' an all. Speaking of which, as long as I can get all my paperwork done in time, I'm heading to Costa Rica in the fall, and I realize I listed myself as male on a medical form on accident in my haste to fill in bubbles.
Heehee. Bubbles.

Well, Bubbles, that's awesome. I'd be happy to recommend favorite places and things. Will you be heading there to study, or vacaciones, o qué? And will you be packing some internets, so we can keep our PbP's going?
Note: I will never again call you Bubbles, not to worry.
Note, the second: Unlike most of humanity, I do appreciate a nicely picked nit, as I struggle so to resist picking them myself. Pick on!

Dangarooni! Forgot PfE was a touch spell, had it in my head as more of a Bless-esque area-effect spell, but its duration is too good for that.
Well, I already said "delay, schmelay." Now it's time for an old favorite: "consequences, shmonsequences."
It's been so long since my actions got me into trouble, after all.

Chloe, if you're looking for a free and easy mapping program, Pyromancers Dungeon Painter is pretty decent. I don't know if it has enough dressing for Abbadon, but it probably couldn't hurt to try.

I know what you mean. Last time I went away for a long period of time, I came back to an unbuffed Morin being lowered into a hole likely full of zombies, and needless to say, I immediately saw things going downhill...
Oh, well. Lots of xp if everyone makes it. However, I don't see us having the resources to go into the crypt, too.
