5 days at one point per day. I think that we can use your Heal check to offset the last failed Fort Save in which case I am only down 4 points. DM?

This room is painted with murals depicting five men in white robes standing next to each other (these are the first and subsequent high priests of the healing order). The last figure in line has had its left hand blacked out with paint, but the others are not defaced in this way. There is a large bloodstain (very old) in the center of the room.

Then he resumes his roguish duties and helps check for traps.

This room contains a rotted bedframe, a nightstand, and a wooden chest under the bedframe. The chest has already been broken open, and is empty. There are three pictures on the nightstand, each of which is a charcoal sketch of a different woman’s face. There is nothing of value in the room itself.

Well we definitely need both roles filled. One full Divine and one Full Arcane. I agree w/ brv heart the Theurge is an extra but truly doesn't completely fill either role.

BTW I came across this prestige class which I think would come in handy in Rappan Go to Soul Warden.

either Arcane or Divine can become one but as its #channels per day are controlled by CHa the most optimal build would be a Life Oracle but a cleric Sorcerer or Wizard can become one. Take a look.

@Good Thomas What did you decide on keeping THomas vs introducing Illirio (the wizard) here IC at the Ferry?

My thoughts: Looks like we're going to the Mouth of Doom not Rappan at first. I think we can get along without a wizard at first but before we reach the point on no return in Rappan(no idea of where that will be) we'll need a wizard or arcanist.

Are you thinking of playing GT (a character that we thoroughly enjoy having with us) for a couple of levels and then introducing your wizard? Or just let things play out and see what happens.

Just asking because if you are planning to do an IC switch at the ferry, now is probably the time to start working on that w/ brvheart.

Do you still have your windows disk? You can boot off of it and run a chkdsk /mbr. Go into the bios and make sure it is seeing the drive your hard disk may have failed also. Make sure you don't have a disk in the drive or a flash disk or phone plugged into it. Those will also cause the error.

Bios showed my hard disk. I was getting an error for a long time it it not recognizing the device plugged into the something that started with an "i". I can't remember right now. Nothing was plugged in and I rebooted several times. I tried to hit F8 for safe mode and the entire just freezes.

My hard disk died 2 years ago. No resurrection spell would work. I bought a windows 8 laptop and found many details frustrating at first but now after multiple updates I'm very happy with the OS.

@brvheart I'd like to get your ruling on this before it comes into play.

On my belt on my right hip I have a specially constructed pouch. The sole purpose of this pouch is to hold my ioun torch securely and to release it quickly when needed. All I need to do to release it is give a quick tug to the cord at the bottom of the pouch and the ioun torch falls out and begins circling my head.

drinking a potion is a standard action. This will take significantly less time and effort.

should this be an immediate, swift or free action

Immediate actions are those that allow you to interrupt the flow of combat such as casting feather fall, free actions are such as drop an item or speak. Since you are not actually retrieving a stowed item it could be argued that this rises to the level of a swift rather than a move being a monk. You are allowed one swift action per round.

Sorek to me this is the odd man out and probably the best suited for replacement for wizard, but that is just me. I would hate to see the party lose its up front fighter to fill that role. Just my humble opinion. Otherwise you are looking at recruiting another player.

What? You don't want to be up front with your quarterstaff? I had a wizard that did that in 3.5. He was never further than 2nd in the order of march. Liked being up front so he could cast lighting bolts without worrying about hitting his party. Started out at level 1 standing on tables behind the party fighting with his staff and was just plain lucky with it so he never quit! He never went down in combat though:)

He does fill a primary melee role. Just not in a traditional way. Damage per round will not be a problem.

If you think his AC is too low and he will lack durability I can replace his lvl1 Stalker Art Evasion with

Options for filling the Arcane role:

A) recruit another player

B) have Jark fill the Arcane role and Aggrammar go back to Evangelist

C) Good Thomas already has Illirio ready to go

If we go with A). Aggrammar has volunteered multiple times to fill the Arcane role. And should be given the opportunity to fill that role and we would have to recruit a full divine caster.

I don't want anyone playing a character they don't want. But I do want to play Sorek.

Lets try to get this ironed out today. I don't want the lvl1 characters in his Old school Rappan Athuk campaign to get to 4th level before us.

Alternative option for 'A' going along with Aggrammar's volunteering for Arcane role.

-I have this level 3 oracle of life designed for another game. It was rolled stats, but hers are very near 20-point buy (17 points. Would just need to drop the Kin Guardian trait and extra money. I also need to change spells to normal casting (the DM of that game wanted to use words of power). Also switch stats and class if brvheart would prefer plain cleric. That would free-up Aggrammar to fill arcane if he would rather do that than play cleric.

If we go 'C' It is possible that Sorek and Jar'k can hold the line (maybe) with the aid of Aggrammar up front.

@Brvheart- Why go quarterstaff when sorcerers (multiclass or straight) can pick up all simple weapons for free? Or go half-elf/human to get a better reach weapon on wizard.

Her plan was much different, but as she is from a dead game, well that doesn't matter. Originally, she was going to multi-class paladin, but I will keep her full divine. She is able to still be supportive. Just need to drop power attack for that.

makes sense to me. I need to teach him my trick of concentrating for a round to satisfy all my bodies needs for food and water.

Otherwise we are going to need a bag of holding real quick to hold all his food.

I don't know how well he is going to be able to fight with deer slung over each shoulder.


the only reason elf rations are more expensive is they are too picky about their food. I bet Thomas will eat anything

@brvheart you mentioned that your resident power-gamer was going to take a look at Pathfinder Unchained. Has he given you a report on it yet? Doesn't look like it will impact any of our characters, but I'm curious none the less.

There are many different ideas in there. Not all of them have to be implemented. One that comes to mind would be the Stamina System. Specifically giving Fighters automatic access to it, I think it would be cool for Thomas.

Hey guys brvhearts old Rappan campaign started on may 29th and they already have 219 posts we have 491. At the rate we're going they'll have more posts than us by the end of the week.

What do you say can we pick it up a bit? We've got a solid GM who has run Rappan multiple times. Let's take advantage of this . If this falls apart it's on us not the GM.

Wanted to this last weekend but it didn't work out. Oh well. I have also set the other game up for a faster posting rate, 4-5/day vs 1. Some of my players are good to post 1-2 times a week in Razor Coast. It is up to you to set your own pace:)
