Oh thank goodness they're humanoid! My study target really only works with humanoid-type creatures for now. I was really worried it'd be spiders. Also, I imagine the gnolls were well aware of us, so no sneak attack for me, correct?

As far as creatures not detecting evil that are less than 5 HD. While you may be correct by RAW, I do not intent to use this table. It makes little sense to me and will continue to use the old ways. A 1 hd goblin is evil and can be detected as such. Rule O. There are too many 1-4 level goblins in this place to allow this to be none. Call it the "Force of Orcus" or DM Caviat. Koan, I see nothing about your play that defines your character as evil. Please change your alignment to neutral. I base this on all of your play since the beginning including under your previous GM. You may still have some evil tendencies, but they are not part of your true alignment.

I guess the mention of the heal skill was missed. That could have saved us a charge at the expense of an hour. Might want to keep that in mind as resource management will be crucial if we try to make this for the long haul.

Heal checks and channels are generally preferred over using wands, but hey not my characters. Sorry to have a little fun with your character last night Almon, but the RP was worth it:) Usually my rolls are a lot better for players than a 1! On another note, did you ever get your traits?

No worries, lol. Yeah, I'm rarely on at that time, and I tend to believe stuff like passive knowledge rolls and linguistics checks are best for the DM to do for the sake of secrecy. And yeah, the free healing 1/day per person from treat deadly wounds is a major resource saver. Sure, it isn't much, but if you can hit the DC 25, it is like an average roll or better CLWs. Just takes a long time...

Oh, and yes, I did grab a couple traits finally. Thought that they fit accordingly.

Hedge Magician (Magic)- Whenever you craft a magic item, you reduce the required gp cost to make the item by 5%.

Seeker of Brightness (Elf, Race)- Choose a Knowledge skill (Arcana); you gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge checks of that type and on Perception checks.

Posting rates both RA groups: The other group has had about 360 posts since June 1 and you all about 340 since June 2, but they have one more player so it is about even vs the Lost Lands game at about 315. So about 1200 posts between the four games is keeping me busy!

Almon, I have taken note of the Heal suggestion. Apologies I was not able to react to it appropriately - I am not that knowledgeable on the Heal skill, but in the future I will definitely use it as you pointed out.

No worries. In the RL group I was in (don't meet anymore due to work and baby), no one EVER used that until I took over as healer for one adventure. To my knowledge, they still don't use it. And then in the campaign I run, I have an NPC healer for them, and when she started doing that (they are level 2 right now), everyone wondered what feat or class ability let her do that. It is one of those 'unless you are in the often role or a GM that has had to read over skills many times', then you probably won't see it.

Hey Aggrammar, what I did was going to the parent thread where I'd originally hidden the game (like Post-by-Post), and there clicked on the dot at the very top that 'Focuses' or 'Unfocuses' the threads. Then find the game thread you've hidden, and click the little circle at the very end of it, unhiding it.

Let me know if that didn't make sense.
