Oi be as a scout not so much thief or burglar p'haps? Wonder if'n oi get no treasure loike when dat gnome bossed me. They be cuttin' me loose back in town an' divvie up aftar. Mebbe, mebbe not.

The goblin happily starts grabbing coins until he feels his backpack getting weightier. Its like a kick in the teeth for the poor rogue when he realises he can only manage a few coins, and he has them already, he starts to feel difficulties and lets out a little whimper. Then he puts the coins back reluctantly.

"Oi is little an' dis gold be heavy. If'n I cud tek more Oi wud be. But me is best lighter dan heavy. Mebbe one o'yus cun manage more, please masters, please?"

Just realised I have lost a point of strength and cannot manage anymore than I have. 50 coins to 1lb.

is it just the lid of the chest broken open? or is the chest broken in a way that there is no way we can carry coin in it without spilling them all over the floor?

and this is why when we get back to town, one of the items we need to have Lom craft is a bag of holding. I find few things more frustrating than having to leave treasure behind.
