Sounds good, DL. I will take your modified Mythic (PA) and substitute Mythic Iron Will for Improved Critical.

Valgrim, that works! Friar, you are fine as well.

I updated the character sheet based on Hero Lab, which disagreed with a number of my values, so more changed than just adding the mythic goodness. I didn't perform an audit, I just trusted the software. If something looks wrong, I'm happy to try to adjust again.

So you don't have to dig for them:

Marshall path
Marshall's orders: Rally
Path ability: Focus
Mythic Feat: Mythic Spell Focus (Illusion)

I had completely forgotten about my mythic abilities most of the time. It could have been useful more than once, I'm sure. Sorry about that.

Looks fine, Bublaka. Almost none of you have been using your mythic abilities, so you are not alone. :) I will need your assistance with illusionary spell-effects, as I have never had a player specialize in them in my years of GMing, so when you cast them, please assist me with the relevant rules (disbelief, % of damage, etc.).

HP 223/223, 0 temp; AC 27, T19, FF 21, additional +2 vs undead foes, DR 2/- vs undead; 47/52 rds BP; 5/7 MP; CMD 39 (41 vs trip); 1st6,2nd6,3rd5,4th3,5th2,6th4

We will learn together.

Okay, first, welcome to Mythic level 2! I think that only involves an attribute bonus +2 or two attributes +1 (if you prefer) and a pth ability, so that should be pretty simple.

Second, in reviewing your character sheets, none of you is even close to the 880,000 gp set for 20th level under the wealth by level guidelines. Sure, the AP lets you find Dragotha's legendary hoard and tons of other goodies found on the undead minions but then conveniently sets it up so you cannot sell the treasures and spend the gold. So this is my small way of correcting that injustice! Of course, I am not going to bring you to 880,000 gp but every little helps right?

So the gifts are upgrades of your current items:
Alie: Bracers of Armor +8
Bublaka: Headband of Mental Superiority +6
Friar: Belt of Physical Might +6 (Dex and Con)
Valgrim: Belt of Physical Perfection +6

Third, you each can select up to 100,000 gp of magic items. Now, there are certain caveats: you can't upgrade weapons/armor/etc. (that takes days and even more sometimes) and you can't buy books/tomes to improve your stats (as that requires a week to reach each of them) as you are under a time crunch. So, within reason, feel free to select items (no Rings of Three Wishes - see below). As an archmage, Tenser can be assumed to have anything in the DMG but I have final approval on items. I hope you don't take many RL days choosing so we can move on.

Finally, Agath has Tenser identify your previously unidentifiable ring (the one you found in the coffin room guarded by the pit fiend) as a Ring of Three Wishes (so you have 5 wishes in total).

Enjoy!

I'm debating the potential changes.
--------------------------------------
Additional Marshall's Order would allow me to take Decisive Strike, which would allow me to grant an ally a free attack on my turn that doesn't impact their actions for the round.

There are abilities that improve my chances at succeeding on a skill check or allow me to provide an ally with a boost on a skill check.

My IC bonus to specific saves could be upgraded to apply to all saves.

I could gain the ability to cast mythic spells (haste, saving finale, break enchantment, mirror image, invisibility, slow, dominate person appear to be potential candidates, probably in that order).

Perfect Aid allows an improved aid another.

I can extend my darkvision to 120'.

Tactical Genius allows me to gain a teamwork feat and my allies are treated as though they had the same feat so I could reap the benefits - but they would not, I believe.
--------------------------------------
I've been building him as a buffer all along, so I'm inclined to go with abilities that help him help the party. Mythic Haste and Mythic Saving Finale would fit that bill, as would Decisive Strike or Inspired Defense improving all saves. Perfect Aid could grant up to +8 extra to an aid another check, but I don't know that we do that enough for it to matter.
--------------------------------------
--------------------------------------

Open to suggestions, as always, especially if I've overlooked some gem that you think I simply must take.

For ability bonus, I hate to be a one-trick pony, but I can really only see Bublaka taking the +2 to Intelligence or Charisma. Charisma is the default answer here - anyone have a compelling reason to do otherwise?

Equipment thus far
Gift Headband of Mental Superiority +6 (Skills: Appraise and Stealth, same as the headband it is replacing, plus Linguistics)
8000 Hand of Glory (to hold Ring of Protection that I've been carrying; replacing Amulet of Natural Armor +1)

Debating some of the staves or ioun stones or upgrading the ring of protection +3. I don't appear to have access to Pages of Spell Knoweledge in my HL installation - I should be able to use one or two of those to increase my spell repertoire, yes? What spells would you like to see in your favorite performer?

Alie, rods are the easiest, since you already have a Staff of Magi.

Maximize MM Rod - 54K - will work 3x on your regular empowered (540) or quickened (360) or persistent disintegrate spells (360 and 2 Fort saves).
Silent MM Rod - 11k - when stuck in radius of silence spell, you can simply disintegrate the offender
Focused MM Rod, greater - 24.5K - when you cast your high-level area effect spells, such as DB Fireball, Stormbolts, Sunburst, Prismatic spray, etc., you give one baddie +2 DC
That's almost 90k. Some thoughts. Scrolls are nice too.

I like Decisive strike or the mythic spells. Up to you. I would buff AC. Sounds like a city full of undead is coming, which means multiple enemies. My thoughts.

I'm leaning toward Inspired Defense - a +4 to all saves, optionally a +6, seems pretty good, especially to the character that's missed 75% of his saves lately, going into a city full of undead critters and all of their special abilities.

I would like to request Valgrim's Lenses of Detection if no else has a hankering for them. My old headband is available (+4 to all mental skills and Appraise and Stealth skill ranks are increased to 20; the ranks don't stack with any you have already invested, however) along with my amulet of natural armor +1.

Those 10k is worth 2 Scrolls of Mass Heal (9000) at maximum level, so buy those and pass them this way. We will need all the healing possible.

So 3 Scrolls of Mass Heal and 4 Scrolls of Heal so far. When Bublaka is done shopping, we will total and split them between myself and the bard, since he can UMD them.

Question to GM and rest of party: I can summon Exousia back with a Gate spell. Good idea? Or should we seek more powerful help.

Exousia is fine and has been helpful throughout, especially in the last battle with her constant Magic Circle against evil - protected you on 2 occasions against possession - and her True Seeing. Other help may hit much harder than her, but she also has spells as support. If you want to summon more powerful help, that is up to you. Remember, my baddies can also Gate at these levels. :)

I am literally on the road headed to vacation, so research is tricky. I'm happy to contribute to the scroll arsenal. Are we sure about the prices? They seem low.

Two scrolls of Mass Heal, max level
Two scrolls of Heal, max level

I'm open to any other suggestions from the team. I should be able to UMD pretty much anything. Maybe a scroll case that makes finding the right scroll a free action would be good.

I should have sporadic access, but my time may be limited to use it for the next week. Please don't wait - bot Bublaka and keep things moving. I'll peek in if I can, but better not to plan on it.

Cheers!

The price of a scroll is equal to the level of the spell × the creator's caster level × 25 gp. In the case of Mass Heal, 20x9x25=4500 gp, so price is correct.

With scrolls, you're up to 60,500. If you upgrade the amulet of natural armor to +4 (giving you 3 extra pts of AC), you are up to 90,500 gp.

Okay, will bot Bublaka as needed. Enjoy your vacation.

Thanks B!
