I didn't see any pistol in Aurelia's profile so that's why I wrote musket.
And don't forget that you need Sleight of Hand check to hide your weapon, as flavoring doesn't bypass game mechanics or dice roll.
Whoops, may have forgotten to update that profile with her respec, edited it. And I do have sleight of hand, but she's not *hiding* it right now, hence why I said (If you looked you can see it)

Happy Halloween, Everyone!!!
If I'm posting too much each day, let me know. I don't want to overwhelm everyone with walls of text. I'm really excited to be running the scenario and wish I had started it a couple weeks earlier.
I can slow it down to just one post a day since I'm not in any rush. However, since the group kind of split up, I'm trying to get the relevant posts to each of you depending on the situation.

That's a big reason why I went back to the inn, I didn't wanna start a dialogue with the main point of the campaign without anyone else there

*Looks up, checks local witching hour.* Eh, close enough. And everyday is Hallowe'en in my life, so, absolutely, happy Hallowe'en, everyone!
So far the posting rate is fine, though as a chatty poster myself, one substantial post a day is probably what I can manage regularly on my end. And I'm sorry, GM! It occurred to me just after I had Willow wander off that I wasn't helping the party's centrifugal tendencies. I'll try to have her stick closer to everyone so it's a bit less like herding cats.
Oh, and in case other folks here hang out in as selective a bunch of threads on the messageboards as I do, or are as forgetful, I thought I'd share the reminder that things are going to be down for maintenance for a few days starting on Monday.
GM Roll4initiative
Good to know the website will be down. It is a bummer the game will be on pause for a few days.
GM Roll4initiative
There's been an update that they're pushing the sitewide update to next monday.
Game on!
GM Roll4initiative
I'm going to be very busy with work the next couple days. I'll try to get a post up in a day or two.

Not to worry, apart from wishing that work goes well for you! :) See you on the other side!
(But not, like, the other Other Side. Willow's too young and too cute to follow Elm just yet. Eep! )

Are any of these undead? I'm asking for favored enemy purposes. They certainly look undead but I figured I'd ask
You will need to make separate DC 11 Religion checks for the jack-o'-lantern and the floating pumpkins.

Happy Thanksgiving to my U.S. players! Enjoy your long weekend! We'll pick back up on Monday.

@ Mizzie & Willow:
Please enter your character information into RPG Chronicles as soon as possible. The link is at the top of the page below the link to the slides.

Sorry about the slow post. I've been fighting with (probably the flu) fever, headache, and very very bad sore throat for almost a week, and I've cough so much that I lose my voice and can't speak.
No problem. Just take good care of yourself. I hope you get well soon.

Hopefully you feel better soon! I've been dealing with ongoing intense migraines the last few months, hasn't been fun! Having a follow up with a neurologist soon as they try to figure out what's going on

I'll get us started on the next encounter tonight or tomorrow. I think we'll be able to finish by Christmas if everyone can post regularly.

Sorry for the slow posting again. I'm travelling for Christmas family visit, and that Sola is a melee brute with little to do during social encounter.
On the bright side the flu symptoms are mostly gone and I should be able to check in and post daily.
GM Roll4initiative
Now that I think about it, this is a busy season for everyone. Including me. If posting goes slow for everyone, it's quite okay. There's absolutely no rush. Enjoy your Holidays, everyone!
Good to hear you are feeling better, Sola!
GM Roll4initiative
Still waiting for three more to post their tokens on Slide 9. If we need to wait until after Christmas to pick back up, that's fine with me.
In the meantime...

T'was the game before Crit-mas
And all through the home,
Not a PC was rolling,
Not even the gnome.
The party was resting
And so were the players,
While feasting on pizza
And nachos in layers.
The GM was hidden
Obscured by his screen,
While highlighting upcoming traps
in bright neon green.
They'd won a hard fight
And gave it their best,
But the battle was over,
The world was at rest.
The Drow were all snuggled up
Safe in their caves
With visions of Dwarves
Failing Fortitude saves.
No bandits did burgle,
No merchants were trading,
The Orcs all asleep
From a long day of raiding.
The temples were silent
No songs from their bells,
The Wizards had given up
Casting their spells.
When outside the game room
Came a booming reception,
That everyone heard
If they made ther perception.
And who should be summoned
to the plane of the living?
Why, Pathfinder Santa!
The Warlord of Giving!
With a loud cry for battle
He kicked in the door,
Our group caught flat-footed
From his initiative score.
He stood 10 feet tall
What a sight to be feared!
With an Ogre-like gut,
and a Dwarven-like beard.
His platemail was crimson
With runes green and gold,
A candy cane halberd
In fist did he hold.
In his off-hand he carried
A heavy brown bag
Weighed down by its contents
of treasure and swag.
Our group went dead silent,
Our fear, it was stressful,
His intimidate check
Was quite clearly successful.
We dodged an explosion
Of minis and dice
As he lept on the board
and roared "Naughty or Nice?"
Lawful or Evil?
Greedy or Fair?
If it's all in character,
I really don't care!
You've solved many riddles
And slain many hoards,
Now turn in the XP,
It's time for Rewards!
With a deep hearty laugh,
And a stomp of his boot
He tipped over his bag
And dumped out our loot!
For the Ranger:
A Composite Longbow +3
And a magical ring
That can summon a Tree
To the Bard he did hand
An enchanted War Drum,
And an ancient black bottle
of 90 proof Rum.
For the Wizard? New scrolls!
What a magical feast!
From a new Arcane Handbook,
yet to be released.
For the Rogue, two keen daggers,
One black and one white
That would keep him well hidden
As he snuck through the night.
For the Cleric, a symbol
Of the goddess of healing
To prevent all the damage
Our foes would be dealing.
And last but not least,
Our own Dungeon Master,
Neither Monster, Nor Fighter,
Nor Cleric, Nor Caster.
"For you, Mr. GM,"
He said with a squeal
And he gave him new dice
Forged of real Stainless Steel.
"They're wicked and lucky,
Much more than you'd think,
And sure to roll 20's"
He said with a wink.
For they both knew the secret game
GM's all played
It matters not what they rolled,
Just the sound that they made.
With a cry to the heavens
He called out to the night
And a Dragon descended
To him from its flight.
He swung one leg over
And they took to the sky,
We all cheered and waved
As he shouted "Goodbye!"
His entrance was sudden,
His exit abrupt,
We'd survived the encounter
And all leveled up.
You could hear him call out
From the dragon he'd tamed:
"Merry Crit-mas to all!
And to all a good game!"

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Happy New Year, everyone! I'll get a new post up tomorrow, botting Mizzie if necessary.
Have an awesome New Year celebration!

Moving discussion with Bellisola over here.
No need to change your header. When noting attack bonuses and AC penalties and such, is to put them in your dice expressions and ooc notes somewhere in your post.
Like this...
[ dice=Mwk cold-iron Nodachi, Bloodrage +2]1d20+6+2+1[/dice]
[ dice=Slashing, bloodrage +3, Challenge +1]1d20+9+3+1[/dice]
Sola is now -4 AC, -2 AC to target of challenge until target is dead or unconscious.
If any of you others have special attack and/or damage modifiers, please note those in your dice expressions. It makes things a lot easier for the GM.
Thanks!
