I'd not participate. I've played it f2f on a con, 2 years ago now, i think.
It was a blast to play, with a big projector screen and the city's districts' severity colors shifting plenty, to add tension.
So i'm sure you two will enjoy it as well. ;)
What tier are you two going for?

![]() |

Besides our Shadow Lodge game, my core fighter Ironshanks will be doing Cosmic Captive I believe is the name. Whatever the one you could do and do two.

![]() |

We should be moving ahead shortly. How do you guys feel about fighting a (mostly) optional dragon? Not that wimpy dragon from earlier in this game, but an actual badass dragon? >:)

Let’s do it! I think the one hanging above Lord D’s mantle is feeling lonely. XD

Let's fight some dragons.

On another note, I requested two tables for OutPost II, and got two tables: one subtier 5-9 (requested for our Red Arm table) and the other SFS. They auto-assigned scenarios this time around, and we were given 4-16, which Sirettis seems to have already played according to PFSTracker. Sirettis, how would you feel using a replay for this?

![]() |

I have a replay token, I should be able to replay it.

![]() |

Woo! Con time!
4-16 sounds like fun! I've also signed up as a GM to run 6-18 From Under Ice in CORE, as well as SFS 1-10 The Half-Alive Streets. Glad to see you're signed up for my SFS game, Red! If anybody else is interested, I'd love to run a game for you folks again!

![]() |

I'd love to sign up for From Under Ice but where's the sign up link?

![]() |

4 games will be more than enough.
I didn't get to GM- they assigned me as a backup GM.

Cons are killing me right now. Opened sign-ups last night for a con at sea on a cruise ship - sold out in 16 hours and I am still picking up the admin pieces :p
We're having a big Aussie gaming day BBQ in a national park in a few weeks, I offered 30 spaces and they filled in hours.
And I am sorting out a Con at Easter.
I'll need a nap.

![]() |

Shifty you are far too busy but thanks for joining us!

Good news, everyone! I'm bad at reading and I will be GMing 10-5 and 10-7, Mysteries Under Moonlight. It's 2 connected scenarios, both played in standard (classic) mode.

![]() |

I will have to have a look at what everyone is GM'ing and their level ranges and such and figure out timelines for who could be available.

I am heading away with work and will be back home in 36 hours, I will have little to no internet during that time (as we will be in a remote area).
Yeah Con on a Ship has gone over really well. Its all the problems and logistics questions of a normal con, but at sea. Internet is practically non-existent, the spaces are a bit smaller (but we have a conference room for MOST of the time) and it's all a bit funky, but at least people will get fed, they can't get lost, are unlikely to be late (come in your pyjamas), and we can just crack on.
Carnival Spirit - all bookings are in, and in a couple of months we can get Warhorn sorted once the July/August Paizo releases are announced. Whats really cool is that we have a lot of fairly new players - and they will be doing Perils of the Pirate Pact/Hydras Fang/Murder on the throaty mermaid - and they all want to dress as pirates.

Im horrible with managing all our boons but don't we have one that gives us the ability to fly? I need to get up to that dragon.

![]() |

Not that I know of. In previous scenarios, you had the magical carpet or potions of fly. Let's see what Mr. Peppers says when he's back from his fishing trip today!

![]() |

I think I memorized fly... nope, wrong character. All I got is heroism.

![]() |

If you have any uses of the Ranginori's Favor boon left, you can use that to have Fly cast on yourself.

![]() |

I have all of them left I don't use boons :) Gallix for the win!!!!

![]() |

Lol, the westerners do the grunt work, and the easterners finish it off with graceful flashiness. ;)

![]() |

I am buying my boots/sandals/shoes of flying after this!!!!

D: Being a full, offensive caster, MR Peppers is built to be able to overcome SR. Even so he only has a 50/50 shot at getting through this dragon's SR.
Feats:
Spell Penetration: Your spells break through spell resistance more easily than most. Benefit: You get a +2 bonus on caster level checks (1d20 + caster level) made to overcome a creature's spell resistance.
Greater Spell Penetration: Your spells break through spell resistance much more easily than most. Prerequisite: Spell Penetration. Benefit: You get a +2 bonus on caster level checks (1d20 + caster level) made to overcome a creature's spell resistance. This bonus stacks with the one from Spell Penetration.
Racial:
Elven Magic: Elves receive a +2 racial bonus on caster level checks made to overcome spell resistance. In addition, elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Spellcraft skill checks made to identify the properties of magic items.
Class:
Potent Magic (Su): Whenever the arcanist expends 1 point from her arcane reservoir to increase the caster level of a spell, the caster level increases by 2 instead of 1. Whenever she expends 1 point from her arcane reservoir to increase a spell's DC, it increases by 2 instead of 1.

This dragon has some nasty SR. I need to roll a 14 to beat it, and then I'll have to deal with its Will Save.

![]() |

Every bit helps. Pummel that lizard!

![]() |

Good morning, everyone! Just popping by to say hi!
Hmm

![]() |

HMM!!! How you doing?! Miss your songs and a delightful teasing of Peppers. Hopefully you'll be able to do a guest appearance sometime soon!

I hope Miss Cup has told everyone of her time with the Red Arm.

Red Arm is legendary!

Quite the battle vs the Dragon!
One thing that Gallix will want to keep in mind:
Using my Raging Song - Weapon Song ability to grant all willing allies the Keen weapon special property on one of their weapons (or sets of ammunition). The weapon must already have at least a +1 enhancement bonus on it to gain the special property.
Enjoy the greater chance for crits!
Keen does not work on ranged weapons or ammo. It also doesn't work for blunt weapons.
You have to watch very closely Tables 15-9 and 15-10 of the CRB for footnotes and which table an ability appears in.

![]() |

Very good advice, Bret! Thanks for the heads up! I was thinking it could apply to arrows, but I suppose not.
I won't always provide keen either. I like to throw elemental enhancements (Flaming, Shock, Frost) to help get around elemental resistances when it's applicable, but I'll definitely keep this in mind for when I use keen in the future.

![]() |

I'm pretty sure everyone uses sharp weapons anyhow right? As far as keen for melee weapons.
Do you have the ability to apply the regular inspire of +1/+1?

![]() |

His Raging Song provides a +2 Str and +2 Con bonus provided you accept it (so you can't cast spells or concentrate.)

![]() |

No, I’ve got the spell warrior archetype, so instead of providing the usual rage sort of benefit Sirettis mentioned, I can use what’s called a weapon song. I have the choice to provide either a straight +1 enhancement bonus to my friends’ weapons (so effectively +1 / +1), or to give a weapon special property worth the same enhancement, like flaming, keen, etc.
