Weren't we at 26, Peppers?
I recall doing 2 parts of GoM at 1/2 speed, but more?? :o
I am at 26.5xp. I only had to do 1/2 rate on one Gallows, not two.

Yeah I would be in the same position so I guess slow track me for the previous one
Stali One-Penny

At this point, would it make more sense to check how hard it would be to switch the table to a 7-11 scenario? Looks like more than half the people are 10 unless you reissue chronicles.
Mr. Peppers

Considering prep and having the scenario it would prolly be easier to redo chronicles. It would also get everyone back to the same level again. (Jealous!)
Sirettis

I've been lazy and I haven't levelled up Sirettis yet, so she still has a level 9 build.
I'm fine either with us doing a level 9 game or levelling up to 10.
GM Red

Give me a few hours and I will have your updated, slow-tracked chronicles posted.
GM Red

Updated chronicles for Year of the Shadow Lodge have been posted here for Sirettis, Uesugi, Gallix, and D.
Changes are 1/2 gold, 1/2 XP and 1 Prestige instead of 2.

UGH
And of course, when you show the preview I realize I've played this already with a different character. sigh... Let me see if I have a replay star lying around...
Edit: Alright, found one. Let's do this.

Looking over the sessions and everything thrice, it seems i was worried over nothing.
D.'s at 26 XP after year of the shadow lodge, no need for 1/2 track.
GM Red

Alright guys, we'll continue tomorrow when OP2 officially begins. Heads up that I'll likely be back to posting evenings only for a while.
GM Red
|
Slight delay here as I haven't had much time to update today - will resume tomorrow... My apologies.
Mr. Peppers

Is there a map of this place? Mr Peppers doesn't want to be next to someone that is going to slice and dice him if a fight breaks out.

I too, have played that for a time. :P
Cycle decks...astral slide/lightning crystal.
I once had a multiplayer deck where i could, provide i'd not be attacked, win it all.
(wait until everyone has at least 10 lands in play.)
Can't counterspell a cycle.

Indeed, though green's Naturalize to wipe enchantment or artifacts could make short work of it, if timely intercepted.
Alternatively, the massive Obliterate was fun to work with.
It didn't oft win you a game, but blasting away a board was just fun to do, even if retribution would be around the corner.

Wow, I miss MtG after seeing those pics!
Cramped Map is up and will be added to my header.

Shouldn’t 9 of the damage on Shadow Orchid be non-lethal from Gallix’s slug?
GM Red
|
Thanks Stali, I can always count on you to audit my calculations ;)
GM Red

We're still a few rooms short of completing this scenario, but can I get you guys to roll boons? A 19 or 20 wins. If you roll a 19 or 20, also roll a d4. Good luck!
GM Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 19
1d4 ⇒ 1
Woo!
Sirettis

Did we get Outpost Boon instructions? One of my games finished early and we're waiting for their new reporting system.
Did I win?: 1d20 ⇒ 19
What did I win?: 1d4 ⇒ 2
| BretI |
Did we get Outpost Boon instructions?
Yes, they came in early this morning.
—— PFS: Roll an additional 1d4. ——
1 - Inheritor of Ghol-Gan (earn a grippli over the course of 12 games.)
2 - Contemplative Traveler (earn your choice of some interesting benefits associated either either with planar travel or the boneyard.)
3 - Season Explorer - Gain benefits based on how many games from Season 6 and 7 that you’ve earned credit for.
4 - Debt to Society - You can use a small amount of prestige to raise a dead ally, and pay the society back later.
GM Red

Holy smokes. That's the most boons I've ever seen won in a game. Still need rolls from Sugi and Gallix.
Sirettis, Hmm sent an e-mail this morning with instructions. Do you want me to forward it to you?
Sirettis
|
No need, I haven't check my emails this morning. I see it now.
One of my games will be pleased.
GM Red
|
Btw, if you won a boon, PM me the e-mail address you would like me to use in reporting.
Gorgeous Gallix Granbonne

Alright! Well done, Red Arm! Let's keep this boon train rolling...
Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 15 Papa needs a brand new frog boy: 1d4 ⇒ 3

The number of things we fight that are elementals and the like must be frustrating for the rogues and enchanters of the world/group.
Certainly makes me rethink what higher level play would be with a sneak attack style rogue. Also how nice favorite enemy elementals could be!
Stali One-Penny
|
Stali is seriously considering a light mace with bane outsider (elemental) on it because they have come up so often for him.
Yes, it can be aggravating. Swashbucklers don’t like it either since their damage bonus is precision damage. They aren’t hit as badly as rogues, but it still hurts.
It isn’t quite as bad as Wizards vs Golems, but elementals are much more common.

Okay team! We're almost done here. What's next?
I'd really like to run a module. Thinking back to how much fun we had with Gallows of Madness, I think the continuity and rich narrative aspects of a module really fit our group well. Doom Comes to Dustspawn was suggested by both Bret and Hmm at one point or another, and reading the summary intrigues me as well. It's a 9th level adventure taking place in good old Isger. Stali would likely be departing since he's running this at the moment, so we would have to get a 6th (or not, and run it with 5 for a bit more challenge). I have a few players in mind who would be glad to join us.
If anyone has a different adventure in mind (preferably a module), let me know!

Enchanters also don't have fun against "immune to paralysis" enemies and mindless creatures. My sorceress had to learn summoning as a secondary because she's fought so much undead and constructs.
On the flip side, when she does penetrate SR and the monster fails their will save, she can leave a succubus with touch attacks giggling while the melee guys kill her.
One thing I like about Pathfinder 2.0 is how the enemy gets some minor effect even if they make the save. It's not all or nothing.
Any, modules are fine with me.
Mr. Peppers
|
That looks good, as well as Curse of the Riven Sky. Riven sky is 10th level.
We should all be 10th after this ends correct? I will be ticking 10th.

I'll be traveling all day Monday and on vacation all next week. After Monday I should be able to get a post in per day, but if I'm holding things up then feel free to bot me.

Hello everyone. I'm recruiting for the Mysteries Under Moonlight duology. It's two 3-7 tier scenarios. I'm running in standard (aka classic, NOT core) game. Here's the product descriptions for both:

It is a lot of fun! I’ve GMed it in face to face,
I think right now I have to bow out though. I’m already playing in three different games and trying to finish a module in PbP. At least the special is done, just need to do the chronicles.
Sirettis

It's good to see you, Stali.
I GMed both parts for Outpost II, and it went pretty well.
Except the party wasn't ready for one of the encounters in part 2, but whatever.
