Actually, I do have a vanara boon, besides the human with a monkey familiar (and monkey domain), but I haven't made a PC with the boon yet. And I already have too many PCs, so I haven't really thought about what to do with the vanara yet.

one of the first Pathfinder games I was a player in, I played a Vanara druid with an elephant companion. The elephant was named Tantor.

Kinda. But it's tough to be a vanara Sun Wukong monk. The Monkey God is CN and you have to be Lawful to be a monk, even a drunken master. Also, Caydenites have feats that support drunken antics but Monkey followers don't have access to them.

I plan to go with sensei, drunken master, monk of the four winds, and of course quinggong archetypes. They all stack. I was going to get around to doing this with a human, but the opportunity to make it a monkey is too good to pass up.

Is anyone still recruiting in this thread? Trying to get a level 1 for my first official pathfinder Society event. About to build a Wayang Alchemist-which I can do rather quickly without a backstory. If anyone is still recruiting Level 1, I would love to join a game...thank you

I have a bit of a full plate coming into the Gameday, but there is a Gameday going on very soon so a lot of games will be kicking off in around 3 weeks. GM Hmm has a list of games that had slot for new players HERE so you could check those and see if any slots are still open. I know the slots are still open in both of mine, but they will be using Goblin Pregens so sadly you don't get to play your own character, but you can assign the rewards to one of your characters.

Others may have games kicking off sooner. I am sure they will let you know.

As GM Ietsuna mentioned we have an online Gameday coming up and are offering a variety of games, some of which do have spots reserved for new players! The list that he linked *should* be accurate and up to date but if those games are full then please don't be afraid to put your name on the waiting list found in the same spreadsheet. If enough new folks are looking for a table then I'm sure the GM collective will make a table happen :)

Alternatively, this is the hub for recruitment for PFS games here on the forums in general so check back often as there are lots of GMs who run games all year round and advertise here to find players!

Indeed. I'd love to have a Vanara character option. And a Ratfolk. And a few others.

The special did inspire one of my new PCs, an oread saurian shaman druid that worships Ayrzul and has a tyrannosaurus companion.

He's eventually (around level 5) going to master summoning "fossils" (dinosaurs and reptiles with the chthonic template).

I got mine for GMing at Summer WolfCon in Glen Elyn, IL. It's the quarterly boon for GMing at conventions this summer.

I'm looking for two players to round out a Consortium Compact table. In the party so far we have a life oracle, a battle oracle, an inquisitor, and an alchemist. Consortium Compact is an evergreen, replayable with as many 1st level characters as you'd like, and playable once with a 2nd level character.

You would have to speak to Granta who is the overseer for this special.

Sometimes they like to set a hard limit on the number of tables running so that they can keep on top of everything.

It looks like there are 19 tables so far.

We ran with 25 during the last special and it was tough.

So while there may be enough players for 2 more tables and willing GMs to run them, the Overseer may not want to open them.

We're not going to be adding anymore tables, but there is a small chance that I'll organize a second (much smaller) run for session two of the gameday. It's unlikely that it'll happen, but if it does it will be 6 tables maximum.

just an fyi, I got my vanara boon for running at Strategicon in May.

DM Beckett could be pursuaded to. . ., though he does know of two other scenarios that could potentially work well also.

If I do Mists, I will of course be required to do my version of the Blakros scenarios. Be warned. :P

Part of me really wants to see a reflavored party of Donkey Kong, the Vanara Barbarian, Rash, the Grippli Brawler, Splinter, the Ratfolk Monk/Drill Sergeant, Scuttle the Tengu Bard (Archeologist???), Sir Didymus the Rougarou Cavalier, and Tails the Kitsune Air Kinetisist join forces and do some damage.
