Has everything in Round 1 been resolved? Are we moving to Round 2?

Island Elf(link)

I think we's moving to round 2. I has posted my second roun' attacks an' stuffs...

*Waves* To every body. (^_^)

second round. 2 orderlies are down. Yet they still continue their assault on the intruders

Male Halfling Swashbuckler 1

So my spell didn't do anything? He didn't even have to save? That's upsetting. Also, I have a turn before they move and fully intend to retread behind our frontline.

after combat you will see why

Male Halfling Swashbuckler 1

Ya it's fine, I just wanted to make sure he was actually immune to it and not just managing to resist it. Because then I would have just bombarded him with spells until he failed.

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

Is Nyroba the orc's opponent? It seemed like it last turn, but I'm not sure I got another attack in the 2nd round. I'm also not sure whether Nyroba goes before or after the orc in initiative, which is important because Smite adds to AC.

Nyroba drops her hammer as the Orc steps up to her, and gives into the beast inside. Her nails lengthen and surround her fingertips, becoming coppery claws, and her eyes transform into coppery, reptillian orbs with slitted pupils. "By Bahamut, you die!! Claws as a free action, smite as a swift action. +4 deflection to AC, netting 21 AC vs the orc.

Claws, Smite, power attack: 1d20 + 9 - 2 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 9 - 2 + 4 = 271d20 + 9 - 2 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 9 - 2 + 4 = 30

Damage -- note that this will bypass damage reduction of any sort: 1d4 + 4 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 4 + 4 = 151d4 + 4 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 4 + 4 = 16 (If this fellow is actually undead, an evil outsider, or an evil dragon, increase those damages by another 4 each.)

The orc slumps to the ground, failing from his injuries. Just the rest of the orderlies remain, yet they still fight on. 4 are left standing

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

With unrestrained anger, Nyroba continues to claw at the orc as it falls, blood splashing across her armor. She turns to the nearest orderly and snarls, "Who's next?!"

Even with their leader down, they do not back down. Something about the way he threatened them made them re think their idea of backing off

Party is up. Their initiative wasnt very high.

Working on a map Nyroba. Will post it soon. :)

It seems combat is difficult with my life style. But there will be plenty of RP when you finish this part

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

Nyroba turns to the nearest orderly and attacks without restraint.

Claws: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 9 - 2 = 81d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 9 - 2 = 8 (If the nearest is more than a 5 ft step away, ignore the second.)

Well then.

Male Kitsune Rogue (Kitsune Trickster) 5 [ HP 34/34 | AC19 T 16 FF 14 | CMD 19 | F +2 R +9 W +3 | Init +6 | Per +9 low-light vision]

Round 2, Init Order 7
Hitoru moves to flanking position, drops crossbow, draws the rapier and stabs the orderly.
Tumbling (if needed) Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25

Confirm critical hit Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
If succesful - more damage: Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

Marcus continues his assault

Headbutt: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
damage: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 Non-Leathal

Secondary:
claw attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
claw attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Island Elf(link)

Suny sighs with some relief as the big bruiser goes down. As people start thumping the remaining orderlies she purses her lips a little even as she deftly changes tactics.

Acrobatics:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22(To tumble through any combat as she closes with the next target)

Sleight of hand:1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17(Number needed for 'Sense motive')

Att Roll 1:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Dam Roll 1:1d6 ⇒ 5

Att Roll 2:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Dam Roll 2:1d6 ⇒ 6

Yah...the dice roller be up to par. :p

Male Human Fighter 6 | HP 65/65 | AC 20 FF 16 Touch 14 | CMD 24 | Initiative +6 | Fort +8, Ref +7, Will +7

Ausk steps back and lets loose some more arrows.

Rapid shoting so -2 on attacks, but within 30 ft, so +1 due to Point Blank Shot.

Attack 1: 1d20 + 12 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 12 - 2 + 1 = 29
Damage 1: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Attack 2: 1d20 + 12 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 12 - 2 + 1 = 13
Damage 2: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Male Halfling Swashbuckler 1

Arim targets the biggest living threat, shooting a green and gray ray at him.

Ranged touch: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Strength Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Ray of Enfeeblement. Lasts for 5 rounds, he can make a DC 16 fort save to reduce the strength damage to half.

As the dust settles, the orderlies are on the ground. either dead or dying. Heal checks?

You do not need to expend your spell. But if you did, you would have had to check for a wild surge.

Also Perc checks if you wish. If you do not have a high Heal

Male Halfling Swashbuckler 1

Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25

What is it you roll for a wild surge check?

DC 15+Spell Level
You roll a caster level check. Also see if map works

You see a lot of scarring on their heads. As if someone, or some thing poked around in there

Male Halfling Swashbuckler 1

This map is being so stubborn. Try this

Better :) Thanks for the help. Hope Combat will go more smoothly and a bit less confusion

Male Halfling Swashbuckler 1

It really is surprisingly easy. Just open google drive, make a new drawing, then just upload anything you want in it. Move, reshape, and add shapes accordingly. I just picked it up last week.

On my phone or tablet most of the time. Thats my main problem with maps.

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

Will save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 Nyroba flexes her claws, but realizing all the opponents are down and helpless, manages to restrain her fury. Her claws shrink into fingernails, and her hands now drip with blood.

"Do any of them live?" she asks coldly, as she wipes her hands and armor on a cloth.

2 rounds of claws used, 12 remaining. GM, did Nyroba get hurt? It's unclear who the orc was hitting there.

His second attack was at Nyroba. His first was at arim. His second at you. But missed. His 3rd attack did hit you.

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

OK, 19 damage then.

Nyroba realizes that not all of the blood covering her is from her opponent, and asks, "Did anyone bring a wand of curing?"

Male Halfling Swashbuckler 1

Ah ok, I'll be your map master than

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

Marcus drags his orderly over, looking at the boss orc riddled with stabs and broken shards, then looking to Suny. Shakes his head and smiles.

Well I kept mine alive, just knocked him out. Thought maybe we could get some answers. Looks like something has been messing with their heads look at the scars and such.

Island Elf(link)

Suny gives Marcus an innocent 'Who me' expression in return.

"Hey, I were hittin' tha' lil' ones in'a head....Is just, like ye said, theys noggin's bin mucked about with."

Male Human Fighter 6 | HP 65/65 | AC 20 FF 16 Touch 14 | CMD 24 | Initiative +6 | Fort +8, Ref +7, Will +7

Ausk walks up to his orderly, pulls out his sword, and makes sure that he's dead.

"We only need one to answer our questions."

Male Halfling Swashbuckler 1

Arim turns away from the 'double tap'.

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

"Hold your blade, Mr. Swiftstrike," says Nyroba before Ausk does so. "Marcus has a point. I didn't notice the scars before, and frankly a battle is not the time to worry about such things. But now that we see it, we can't ignore it. Let us stabilize those who remain alive, and speak to one or more."

Male Human Fighter 6 | HP 65/65 | AC 20 FF 16 Touch 14 | CMD 24 | Initiative +6 | Fort +8, Ref +7, Will +7

Ausk looks at the woman with the bloody claws, and the clawed up orc lying next to her.

"I'll be as merciful as you were with that orc. These men need to be cleared out of this building, and they maybe controlled by someone else. If they are then we can't trust a word they say, and leaving them alone will only endanger this town."

Male Kitsune Rogue (Kitsune Trickster) 5 [ HP 34/34 | AC19 T 16 FF 14 | CMD 19 | F +2 R +9 W +3 | Init +6 | Per +9 low-light vision]

So, does anyone know how to stabilize one of these men, because I have never done that and I would be more likely to kill him instead...

These men are hurt bad. And not just by the assault they went through. In the halls you hear other people move around. But due to the layout abd where you are. You can not determine where or what is making the sounds.

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

2d6 ⇒ (1, 6) = 7

Nyroba heals herself, then turns to the nearest orderly, checking for vitals. If he is alive, she will attempt to stabilize him. Her earlier fury seems to have vanished. She takes out her healer's kit and puts it out for anyone to use if needed.

Heal to stabilize, taking ten and using a healer's kit: 10 + 3 + 2 = 15

Stabalized. Who ever did this to him. Was some form of doctor. Very precise.

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

Marcus will move to the door trying to get a better idea of what he hears outside.

perception: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (17) + 20 = 37

Island Elf(link)

With naught able to do but look on sadly at the fallen people after whatever it is that's been done to them, Sunny sneaks over to the doorway and carefully peers out with Marcus.

Stealth:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Perception:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25

Same kind if people you saw outside. Clearly not in their right minds. In restraining jackets. They walk around babbling incoherently. There are about 3 in the hallway that you can see

Island Elf(link)

Suny turns and whispers what she sees to those behind her,

"We shoud be seein' about gettin' all-a these peoples in't some sort of room so's we can be seein' about maybe healin' 'em later..." She gives voice to her thoughts about what to do with the rambling shamblers.

Male Human Fighter 6 | HP 65/65 | AC 20 FF 16 Touch 14 | CMD 24 | Initiative +6 | Fort +8, Ref +7, Will +7

Ausk nods at Sunny, and claps her on the back when she tells them.

"Thanks kiddo. Are we going to try and help these ones as well, or do we kill them to move quickly?"

Island Elf(link)

"Erk!" As Suny gets a smack on the back.

She turns partly to Ausk, "I thought I jus' said we stick 'em in'a room some place an' see abouts helpin' 'em when we's done findin' out who did them things to 'em?" She asks.

With the perception check. How many more rooms are there on this level? Those with doors, at least?

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

I'm with Suny, no killing. We need to find this doctor and put an end to his games and experimenting on people.

F Human (Mwangi) cleric (evangelist) 3/fighter 1 | HP 33/33| AC 18 T 9 FF 18 | Ft +7 Rf +0 Wi +5 | Perc +3 | Liberation 3/3 | Performance 11/11

Is Ausk certain about his 'good' alignment? Nyroba moves to the next living orderly and works to stabilize him as well. Heal to stabilize: 1d20 ⇒ 16 Once as many of them are stabilized as possible, Nyroba places her manacles on one who looks the least wounded, and turns to Arim, asking him to cast Cure Light Wounds on that person. "We need to ask questions, even if we determine that they are not to be reasoned with, that in itself is useful information."

Male Halfling Swashbuckler 1

He's good, but he's a fighter. And these people attacked us. At least he's offering to put them out of their misery.

You can see about 4 rooms down the hall. where it then turn into a T-Junction

You manage to stabalize only 2 of the orderlies. There owounds, not to mention the condition of their minds, failed them

Island Elf(link)

*Nods* at the DM's response.

Indicating the rooms Suny can see she points. "Lets check out them places first, they's closest. Then, if they be empty, we can see about puttin' people in 'em." She suggests quietly.

Male Aasimar HP 78/79 (27/28temp), AC 28, Touch 16, FF 26, Fort +9 Reflex +8 WIll +13

I'm with you Suny, I can scout I'm very sneaky lets go check out the rooms.
